Poucos estudos s?o encontrados na literatura sobre a incid?ncia de UP em pacientes internados em Unidade Geri?trica, por?m, sabe-se que a preval?ncia nos pacientes idosos no ambiente hospitalar ? muito alta. Objetivo: analisar a associa??o entre risco de desenvolvimento de ?lcera por press?o e risco nutricional em idosos internados em um servi?o de geriatria de um hospital universit?rio. M?todos: trata-se de umestudo de coorte. Foram avaliados 70 pacientes internados consecutivamente na Unidade Geri?trica de Interna??o do Servi?o de Geriatria do Hospital S?o Lucas da PUCRS, Porto Alegre, no per?odo de agosto a dezembro de 2010. Foram aplicadas as escalas de Braden e Waterlow (para avalia??o de risco de UP) e coletadas informa??es demogr?ficas, de sa?de e do estado nutricional (miniavalia??o nutricional - MAN, avalia??o antropom?trica) no momento da baixa hospitalar e realizada inspe??o da pele (na baixa, diariamente e na alta hospitalar). Resultados: a amostra foi composta por 62,9% pacientes do sexo feminino. A m?dia de idade foi de 81,2?8,6 anos. A incid?ncia de UP foi de 17,1% (IC95%: 9,6 27,3%). Na concord?ncia entre as escalas de Braden e Waterlow, obteve-se o coeficiente de correla??o de Pearson significativo, negativo de grau regular (r=-0,607; p<0,001). Avaliando o grau de concord?ncia entre as escalas, atrav?s do coeficiente de concord?ncia kappa, foi detectado um coeficiente fraco (k=0,383; p<0,001). Na compara??o da escala de Waterlow com a MAN, foi detectada uma correla??o significativa, positiva de grau regular (r=-0,328; p=0,006); na compara??o da escala de Braden, a correla??o tamb?m foi significativa e de grau regular, s? que positiva (r=+0,357; p=0,002). A escala de Braden mostrou-se com escores significativamente inferiores nos pacientes com UP em rela??o aos com UP (p<0,001), resultado esperado pois quanto mais baixo o escore, maior ? o risco de desenvolvimento de UP. Sua classifica??o tamb?m mostrou diferen?a estatisticamente significativa (p<0,001), sendo que os pacientes com UP mostraram-se associados ? classifica??o de alto risco. This thesis focuses on the synchronized motion control for a Precision Micro-Servo Press with a double-crank linkages mechanism. By the motion analysis, we can get the angular displacement, angular velocity and angular acceleration of cranks corresponding to the displacement, velocity and acceleration curves of the slider. The study also made use of the B-spline curve planning four stamping processing motion curves: Drawing, Piercing, Coining and Multi-Stroke. In this study, single-axis control design, the velocity loop using Robust PID Controller, Pre-Controller and Disturbance Observer(DOB), the position loop using Proportional Controller and Kalman Filter, two-axis control design, using Cross-Coupling Controller(CCC). According to the experiment results, we know the system architecture can solve the problem of the slider unbalanced when the angular displacement of motors are different. This study established a Precision Micro-Servo Press with a double-crank linkages mechanism as an experimental test platform, and verified with four stamping processing motion curves. The experimental results of this system architecture can effectively reduce the synchronized motion position error range of the slider in ±12.0μm.

In recently, electronic industry has been developed quickly. The developmental trends of press machine forward to servo press to react to the characteristics of electronic products, small volume with large variety and short life cycle. In this thesis, dimensional synthesis methodology was used to design the linkage under the requirement of maximum output torque with minimum input power from servo motor. Also motion characteristics of this mechanical servo press was analyzed by the multi body simulation software, RecurDyn, to study the influences of the inertia effect of linkage mass, the contact effect of clearance, the resistance effect of friction and lubrication viscosity of bearings on the action and reaction forces between each linkages and required torque of motor. From the analysis result, the required motor torque of the optimized linkage mechanism can be reduced by 40% approximately compared the original design. The simulation result also indicates the required motor torque can be reduced about 36%. These results show that the requirement of servo motor can be reduce substantially by optimizing linkage mechanism.

This research is focus on the patent analysis of procedure for electrical coiled silicon steel sheet in China Steel Corporation project. Servo punching machine its feature can change the speed of pressing and adjust the time series. In order to reach goal of multiplex function and change pressing speed of slow punching coiled silicon steel sheet. To improve its electromagnetic properties by using Vector Loop Method analyzing the motion of crank mechanism to obtain the punching speed via Newton''s second law of motion to analyze and read the operation condition on machine. For example, counter force from machine, transmit force from members, driving torque, motor power rate, etc. Experiment also use the time control on machine its reality parameter of max upper die weight, capacity and rated tonnage point, etc., combine the trimming motion curve. All the above analysis methods via Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 to write an applied program to speed up the calculations and analysis and conclude its accuracy and the combing curves are appropriate. In the premise of change not the process speed, use servo control to slow down the punching speed and change the return speed to make the whole motor power down increasing the life of motor and also change the punching speed to control slider to fit more model of punching, for example punching, forging, extension and bending, etc.

Servo press are capable of controlling slider motions to generate variable speed drawing profiles, which can save the time of drawing process and increase the drawing depth. This study analyze the influence of material factor, drawing ratio, diameter of drawing material, diameter of die opening, and punch corner radius in drawing process. Making a rule of thumb to generate drawing motion profiles by doing both constant and variable speed experiments. Finite element analyzation and drawing force measurement are also included. In conclusion, a parameter-based rule of thumb, speed changing formula, drawing profile generating chart, and an example of optimal design process have been made. The optimal drawing profiles can save 20% drawing time and increase 25% drawing depth as a result.

The single crank and connecting rod mechanism in the punching processing by the slider force of friction and shear stress affect the dynamic accuracy.The two crank-slider mechanism has a symmetrical characteristic.When the high-speed operation, the horizontal inertia force will be balanced,so the servo press has no radial friction.In this study, Application of two AC servomotors when power input to drive timing belt drive two crank-slider mechanism is analyzed.First, we want to analyze the relationship between the motor rotation angle and crank angle, dynamic analysis of the mechanism, and two motors of Unbalanced rotation angle. We Add PDFF controller in speed loop to enhance the response capability, and system stability;In position feedforward loop,we add the proportional gain controller and speed controller to increase tracking capability and enhance the speed of response.Finally, we add the cross-coupled control . It can improve the biaxial dynamic impact situations, as well as reduce the synchronization error and stroke displacement error. In this study, we have completed a high-precision servo with dynamic control design.

As the technology that changes with each passing day, the punch press also has stepped into the new age of computerization and high-speed techniques. But it produces some problems of dynamic characteristic and positioning accuracy between each axis. Adjusting the parameters of the servo controller is the best way to get instant results without making changes in the design of mechanism when you face with such problem. This research adopts Tailift HP-1500 CNC turret punch press equipped with FANUC-18PC controller as the subject. Besides, the circularity, suqareness error and servo coordination measuring by way of the Renishaw QC-10 Ballbar System are used as indicators to judge the performance of contour-accuracy. Taguchi Method is also adopted to probe into the parameters of servo controller that influence the performance of contour-accuracy in this research. In the meantime, to find out the key parameter and the best level combination, acquire a good match between the control system and the machine. It could be obtained the best performance and reached the goal of mechanical and electrical integration. Finally, the contour-error of the CNC punch press will be improved.

This research aimed to prove the formability of advanced high strength steel (AHSS) by using servo press is better than by using traditional press. At first, a drawing die was designed and installed on a servo press. The drawing specimens were prepared by laser cutting from AHSS sheets. Parameters such as drawing ratio, forming velocity, die gap, forming path, and friction conditions were tested to analyze the formability of advanced high strength steel. The experimental results showed that a particular pulse motion provided by servo press could relubricate the specimen and improve the formability of AHSS. The finite element analysis software ABAQUS was used to simulate the drawing process to analyze the relubricating mechanism. The simulation results showed that the pulse motion could lower the coefficient of friction between specimen and die, and also explained why the relubricating mechanism could improve the formability of AHSS. This research showed that the formability of AHSS by using the servo press with pulse motion is better than by using the traditional press.

This work targets on the application of variable-speed ball-screw-mechanisms on the servo press. Servo presses are manufacturing equipments resulted from the need of recent precision manufacturing and the current automatic manufacturing for high-tech electronic products. The slider of the servo press can perform various processes by digital servo control. Here we apply the concept of variable-input-speed for finding the suitable kinematic functions of various sheet-metal forming processes for servo presses that are driven by ball-screw-mechanisms. The introduction of servo presses and ball-screw-mechanisms is presented first. Then, the kinematic relationship between the input link and the output link of the ball-screw-mechanisms is derived. And, the minimum acceleration of the slider is selected as the objective function for designing the desired input speed trajectories that satisfy specific kinematic specifications. Finally, a prototype of this “Servo-Ball-Screw-Mechanism” is built and tested. According to the results, the derived input speed trajectories also can be used in ball-screw-mechanisms such that the direction of the input link can be reversed. And, the various characteristics of the output motion of ball-screw-mechanisms can achieve high speed dropping, uniform processing, and extending the retention period of the low dead center of servo presses.

Abstract Servo press has the ability to improve the formability, quality, and productivity of metal products by working with various forming curves of slide. However, the operations of free-motion function are not very intuitional and efficient for most of servo press so that it is difficult for the operator to construct self-design forming curves. Furthermore, most studies in the field of servo press only focus on the simulation of the drawing process, and rarely have experiment to support its result. While this study discuss the drawing motion design by the proposed program on the aspect of process efficiency and energy. In this proposed forming curves design program, operators determine the motion of slide by adjusting several control points of forming curve in a user-friendly and graphical interface. Then a calculating process based on the B-spline and curve fitting theories is applied in the program to transform settings of operator into position, speed, acceleration, and jerk information, which plays a vital role for the operator to design forming curves. Moreover, this study focus on the planning and designing the drawing motion, and discuss the mechanism of generating the drawing motion curve. The result of this study is, by applying the proposed program design for servo press, operators are able to create practical and satisfying forming curves more easily. Moreover, the drawing motions design by the proposed program are more efficient and energy saving.

The main purposes of this study are exploring the linkage mechanism with the servo motor and considering the various characteristic need of stamping process for the design and analysis of micro-linkage for servo-press, then giving analysis and discussion at every stage of design. For the purposes, to establish the model of kinematic analysis and kinetostatic analysis for linkage mechanism, and then to do tolerance allocation with genetic algorithm, then to design a press in line with the servo motor and bottom dead center accuracy. The mechanism analysis, to compare different linkage mechanisms , then select toggle-type six-bar linkage mechanism to be the press of this study. The relations of different length of bars, to compare the influence of slide motion curve between different length of bars, then select two groups of length of bars to discuss in detail. Exploring the configuration of mechanism, to compare the forces between four kinds of configuration, and select the best method of configuration. In tolerance allocation, to set the bottom dead center accuracy which is expected, then calculate the tolerance of bars and joints. In this study, to establish the process of design and analysis of micro-linkage for servo-press, which assort with the genetic algorithm to reach the expectations of the allocation of tolerances under the bottom dead center accuracy. The results of this study should be helpful for the research and development of micro-linkage for servo-press in industry.

As the automotive industry shifts its focus to green manufacturing technologies such as energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection, automotive manufacturing technology needs to be developed toward intelligence and flexibility. Servo press, eliminating the need for energy-consuming components such as flywheels and clutches on conventional presses, and using AC servo motors as the power source for presses, meeting the needs of intelligent and flexible press processing. The purpose of this study is to construct a composite forming die of side impact beam based on the motion curve mode of the servo press, which can complete the forming and piercing process in one stamping stroke to save die cost and improve production efficiency. In this study, a advanced high-strength steel plate (JAC980Y) with a thickness of 1.2 mm was used as a part, and the finite element analysis method was used for the formability and springback analysis. At the same time, the isotropic hardening criterion material model based on the Hill48 yield criterion and Yoshida-Uemori kinematic hardening material model for springback research. Finally, the simulation results are evaluated, and the model or forming parameters are modified according to the simulation results until the calculation results meet the requirements. Finally, the results of the analysis are used as the basis for making dies. And then, to design and manufacture a forming die of side impact beam. Finally to use servo stamping curve to produce a side impact beam of advanced high-strength steel in line with product quality requirements.

In this paper object is designing a PC-Based control system for an electro-hydraulic servo press machine system to realize precision force control. The key future is using a release pressure valve and a flow servo valve cooperated and a force sensor feedback to obtain hybrid pressure control. And using LabVIEW software designed fuzzy controller to obtain the hydraulic cylinder moving and output force precision control. Owing the hydraulic system can be accomplished small volume output high-power, such that it is used popularly to the industry. However, in the hydraulic system the oil is compressible and the system parameter variable can be affected by the oil temperature, the hydraulic servo system performances can be more affected by these disadvantages. We design a fuzzy controller to deal with this nonlinear and variable parameter hydraulic system to implement hydraulic cylinder position and force control performances. Through the constructed electro-hydraulic servo press machine system experimental testing, in the cases of step, multi-step, and sinusoidal force command inputs, the test results show that the proposed control scheme is capable of improving the tracking precision.

The aims of the study is to systemically design a direct drive mini-servo-press with energy harvesting devices. According to meet application needs, a four-bar linkage mechanism with which the pull stroke performing press operation was designed. The dies were placed on the top side of the press and the linkage mechanism on the bottom. side. The arrangements stated above can improve the precision of press. A finite element analysis method was developed to obtain an optimal structure of press. The designd objective of developing the mini-servopress was verified by the actual testing results in case that the various forming curves and energy assisted devices in various positions. A piezoelectric energy harvesting devices, in which a10000μF capacitor can be decharged up to 8V within 30 min., is design sheet by recovering the driving torque from workpiece-feed-mechanism. The safety operation devices and a negative ion air filter can be carrird by using the recovery energy.

The purpose of this research was apply ANSYS-SOFTWARE and Infinite Element Method to study the main component of Servo-press at maximum load due to motor torque and reaction force. First, apply IEM to solve 2D elastic problems and compare the numerical result with analytic solution in order to validate the proposed IEM programming, second part ,by ANSYS package simulation the main component of Servo-press preliminary analysis results will and manufacturers provides data, than on, confirmed FEM model correctness, then simulation for the main component of Servo-press at ability point, getting equivalent stress of each parts, found passed power of gear structure will bear maximum load. Finally, by ANSYS issued exported gear data, Infinite element method to produce model of surface hardened layers of gears, with relatively homogeneous and hardened gears of two scenarios under stress.

B2B (Business-to-Business) is a trend in global business transactions that is particularly important in dealing with industrial machinery purchases which is a high concern for the quality product reliability and the after sales service assurances. The manufacturer in order to run a good business had an interest in seeking advanced automation technology to upgrade the production capacity, but also to keep their lead-time always on schedule. Building up a good B2B interaction and relationship was very important; it keeps customer coming back with repeated orders and helps to maintain long-term business relationship. This study presents a case of selling the machinery to one of the biggest companies in the industry of “steel washer “stamping components in Europe. For the sake of confidentiality, this company had been named here as Company X. The main purpose of this thesis was to evaluate successful experiences of an Asian Sales Person, who built up a good business relationship with Company X. He managed to win the trust and loyalty of the management of Company X, and successfully convinced them to change the concept of management by selecting the advanced technology of NC (numerical control) servo die cushion that ultimately helped the Company to improve and increase the production system by more than 330 percent. In this paper object, using Matlab/Simulink software designed PID controller, Fuzzy controller and Sliding mode controller for a hydraulic cylinder servo position system to realize precision position control and energy saving performance, and using LabVIEW software designed Fuzzy controller for hydraulic cylinder servo position system to realize precision position control and energy saving performance. The hydraulic system can be accomplished small volume output high-power, such that it is used popularly to the industry. However, in the hydraulic system the oil is compressible and the oil temperature can affect the system parameter variable, the hydraulic servo system performances can be more affected by these disadvantages. Therefore, the need of high precision position control in the hydraulic system can’t be fulfilled by using the traditional control methods, and the oil supply is fixed when hydraulic cylinder is reached position on the traditional of hydraulic control system, the hydraulic motor is full speed, it can be caused surplus of oil, the energy can be more waste by these disadvantage. In this paper, we design a fuzzy controller and sliding mode controller to deal with this nonlinear and variable parameter hydraulic system to implement hydraulic cylinder precision position control performances and control hydraulic motor speed by inverter to implement energy saving. Through the constructed electro-hydraulic servo press machine system experimental testing, in the cases of step and sinusoidal position command inputs, the test results show that the proposed control scheme is capable of improving the tracking precision and has a good energy saving by measured of power consumption.

This research compares the after-sales service contents of various kinds of products of SEYI Company, and points out the differences between Servo Press and traditional Mechanical Press in this research method, and takes the brothers brands of Toyota and Lexus in automobile manufacturing industry as examples to make more contributions to the sales and service process of SEYI Company''s Servo Press, so as to enhance sales. Business opportunities. In the course of research, it is found that the sales volume of Punch Press is much larger than that of automobile industry and service market. The characteristics must be distinguished and not fully applicable. The Mechanical Press still adopts Passive Service according to the original mode. However, for a single product "Servo Press", both the author and the company decided that efforts should be made to promote the concept of Active Service. The results of the study found that the Active Service for the Servo Press, and the regular follow-up care for each Servo Press or the same customer appointed an Exclusive Service Person, not only let the existing customers appreciate, through the wide publicity of the industry, to promote the promotion of the company''s Servo Press sales volume.

Due to the high hardness and wear resistance, WC–Co cemented carbides have been used extensively for metal cutting and wear application tool materials in the manufacturing industry; Tungsten carbide (WC) offer essential hardness and abrasion resistance, and cobalt (Co) as combining tungsten carbide and offering toughness that the cemented carbide needs . The ultra hard alloy of tungsten carbide has good hardness,corrosivity and abrasion resistance; But in the powder metallurgy industry, while producing cemented carbide with the traditional mechanical presses or hydraulic presses, the production technology bottlenecks faced are mainly three: First, the product’s cracking defect after sintering Second, the product’s size defect after sintering due to shrinkage Third, the product’s deformation after sintering cause squareness defect This research is to study the case company after introducing new servo-motorized electric press , how to employ the servo numerical control function for upper punch, die and core rod movement curve simulation and intelligence program generator function , combine with finite element method modeling simulation ,Taguchi method and respond surface methodology for robust experimental design , after carry on the pressing parameter optimization experiment, succeed in overcoming above-mentioned powder metallurgy three technical bottlenecks for cemented carbide production. The following conclusions can be drawn based on the experimental results in this study. First, improving the product’s cracking defect after sintering by pressing parameter optimization Using servo-motorized electric press servo numerical control function for upper punch, die and core rod movement curve simulation ,apply the findings of FEM modeling for spray nozzle density distribution related to cracking, put into under filling movements and pressurize synchronously movements and two section holding pressure that can reduce stress and density change during blank compacting period . Besides, modify powder feeding shoes to fill out powder by twice can help to improve powder filling density uniform, in the early pressing stage which powder is still loose , the movement and interaction of the die and upper punch have little effect on product for whether have cracking defect after sintering, but when the powder density gradually increasing while pressing period, especially in the final stage , the synchronization control upper punch top pressing down and die of floating upward, precisely control and adjustment of interaction between the punch and die movement curve ,is the most critical point for spray nozzle product whether have cracking defect after sintering . Second, improving the product’s size defect after sintering by pressing parameter optimization Taguchi method and Response Surface Methodology(RSM) was employed to analyze and optimize pressing parameter for conveyor scraper and improve the L size precision of the scraper product after sintering, the best pressing parameter decided by dual response surface methodology are pressing height H =3.5 mm and pressing weight W =22.445 g, can get L length from 50.18 mm to 50.32 mm which meet with the length tolerance between 50.1-50.4 mm. Via Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) analyzing showing significance value of powder variation value is far greater than pressing high and pressing weight significance value , so the powder variation can be neglected to the influence of L length after sintering. Set up the tooling movement curve via the optimization pressing parameter, the conveyor scraper product’s L length can meet the size tolerance after sintering, so can reduce the re-grinding cost for L size larger than 50.4 mm and reduce the L size defect scrap lost amount for L size smaller than 50.1 mm. Third, improving the product’s squareness defect after sintering by pressing parameter optimization The action will be applied via using servo-motorized electric press numerical control function for punch and die movement curve simulation to improve the hammer product’s squareness defect after sintering, the best pressing parameters are as following: powder feeding shoe should be the forward direction, put the inclined plane of the hammer product on the contact surface of the graphite tray, do not put aluminum paper, adjust profile filling dx3 and dx4 parameter as 70% to adjust the amount of powder to fill before and after the die cavity and thus can improve the problem of uneven powder filling, adjust the die movement curve setting, increase powder filling in the middle of the die and increase the upper punch pressure. At the same time, through this study found that the hammer product’s squareness and flatness after sintering are mainly affected by product’s contact surface and direction related to graphite tray, put aluminum paper on product’s contact surface with graphite tray, although the uneven surface of the product can be improved, but it will cause the product after sintering easily deformed and affect squareness of the product.

The purpose of this study was to identify the ideal servo motion curve of a servo press to increase the limiting drawing ratio (LDR), reduce the number of forming passes, and enhance the dimensional precision of the deep drawing process. First, a conventional crank motion curve was applied to design and explore the deep drawing process for circular cups. Then, a computer-aided engineering (CAE) software was used to simulate the same deep drawing process. Different design parameters, such as die clearance, press force, die corner, friction coefficient, and servo motion curve (e.g., single recovery and multiple recovery of motion curves) were applied to analyze the deformation, stress/strain distribution, and fracture/cracking of the circular cups. Using available equipment, the servo curve was applied to physically implement the deep drawing process and verify whether the analysis results were consistent with the experiment outcomes. The experiment outcomes revealed that under the same die conditions, the largest blanks the drawing process could process using the servo curve was 6% to 8% larger in diameter than drawing processes using a conventionally designed LDR. Moreover, the servo motion curve was applied to the deep drawing of automotive motor casings. The optimal parameters of the servo curve were applied to design and fabricate the die for the automotive product. It was then used in a drawing process coupled with different servo motion curves (multiple recovery of motion curves) to identify the optimal servo motion curve for drawing automotive motor casings. Using the optimal servo motion cure in deep drawing processes can effectively reduce forming passes and ensure that a suitable servo press is employed in deep drawing. Finally, the findings of this study revealed the uniformity in the size variance of blanks was significantly and positively correlated with the frequency of the servo motion curves.
