The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of optimal functional and spatial use of the area for environmentally friendly tourism in Strachotín. The location is characterized by suitable natural conditions and land for quality vineyard management. That is why I propose a winery, a cider, a distillery, accommodation with a restaurant and a wellness area in the area. I elaborate the winery object and related accommodation in more detail. The most important object is the operation of the winery. The building dominates and interacts with the adjacent accommodation and restaurant building. Parts of the facade are designed as openwork ventilated facades that create the architectural character of the buildings.

This thesis offers an urban solution for the landscape near the village of Strachotín. The work is based on the need for a plan to develop the selected landscape. The project looks for the most suitable way to arrange the premises and the buildings located there functionally and spatially. The work aims to provide a concept that works in the context of tourism development, economic potential and the natural conditions of the region. The object chosen for study is an eco-farm, which includes stables for horses, horse riding facilities, accommodation for guests and restaurants. For the architectural design we have chosen the horse stable. The proposal is based on the need to solve the whole territory comprehensively, taking into account wider municipal and landscape links. The task was to propose the optimal functional and spatial arrangement of the locality, especially the farm for agrotourism and to offer selected additional functions.Another important question is how to proceed when designing an organic farm in the Czech Republic and what specific points to focus on in the proposal. The aim of the work and the solution that it wants to achieve is to generalize the principles of designing a new modern organic farm using the principles of ecological and energy-efficient architecture, renewable energy sources and waste-free management. The work represents a new direction for the development of settlements within landscape urbanism. The aim of the thesis is to show that it is not necessary to use the latest technologies and radical architectural concepts to create a comfortable and “green” rural area or public space. The idea behind the creation of the complex was the integration of Czech regional flora into the rural area with its buildings, materials and the feelings of its inhabitants. Therefore, other questions arise - what is characteristic of the Czech countryside? What is the purpose of rural life? What is rural identity? The main features of the traditional Czech countryside are castles, churches, ponds, trees, hills, fields, and livestock. The design of the organic farm seeks to achieve a certain overlap in the concept of the identity of the village and the education of children through attractive spaces where people and nature interact. The proposed diverse space of the organic farm will complement the missing traditional elements in the village, such as the pond, meeting rooms, orchard and countryside trails. In this way, the farm allows a confrontation between housing conditions and the landscape. The area is in contrast with the village of Strachotín, but it is designed in such a way that the two spaces join together in harmony. At some point, the differences between nature and the community disappear. The horse farm offers riding lessons, historical sightseeing tours, horse riding summer camps, and a horse riding farm. The project has a capacity of 20 stalls for horses. The farm is also very suitable for show jumping, exhibitions, horse auctions, hobby races and other one-off events. Another attractive tourist area is the location on the bank of the Věstonice reservoir. It is planned not only as a beautiful space for walking or cycling, but also as an area for various public events, such as farmers' markets. Thanks to the proposed variability of spaces and attractions, the farm can serve all year round and people will spend more time in the rural environment.

This diploma thesis is focused on the urban design of the selected area in the village Strachotín and the architectural design of the building in the given locality. The aim of the proposal is to connect the building with regard to the surrounding landscape and to make the locality more attractive to tourists around the northern shore of Nové Mlýny reservoirs. The design concept is based on the modular arrangement of the individual parts of the object. Functional layout is represented by a hotel, wellness, restaurant and cosmetics production.

While I spent 7 years of study, experience and dedication to this work, the building construction has passed evolution from construction boom to contemporary building crisis. Demand for cheap building construction, materials and family housing increased sharply. Energy prices are rising every year... It seems that we will all have to deal with our essential task today or in the near future . This task is mean to prevent the current rate of degradation and destruction of our planet's climate and our environment. In this point of view, it looks the question of energy-saving construction very topical. By entering the study was to examine the possibilities of environmental friendly housing in rural areas in terms of environmental issues. My hypothesis was if can I determine the suitable candidate for the construction of passive houses themselves by comparing their characteristic of pre-defined construction samples. My objective is to offer builders and designers overview of suitable building systems with the possibility to compare the various factors influencing the decision on the selection of a builder´s construction for a house. The thesis presents the comparison of seven structural systems as a basic element of architecture. In the implementation of energy-efficient house is an architectural form often conditioned by structure. For this reason it is necessary to offer this kind of overview with options and parameters of individual building systems, which can then be used by architect to design a house for the builder - free and easy realization of his own, let´s say DIY (do it yourself). For builders (mean investors) of DIY houses is economy and finance a crucial question, therefore, for this reason I will evaluate suitable building system which is relative performance vs. price in the end. It is necessary to take into account the architecture of the house and especially the space layout and design and the attitude with the context of the rural areas environment. My pupose was to prove that good architectural design can be used with of low-cost, energy-saving and environmental friendly house built in DIY way.

It describes nowadays main trends in progress of tourism, examines negative impacts of the traveling on the environment. Then it introduces forms of tourism, which are friendly to the environment. What are the opportunities for their next expansion in the Czech Republic and what for positives it could bring. The main part of the diploma paper is focused on eco-labeling of the tourist services in the EU and in the Czech Republic as well. The aim of the work is to analyse the situation of sustainability tourism in the Czech Republic and conditions for its further development.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of sustainable tourism development at the regional level. This phenomenon is elaborated on the example of Vysocina Region. To evaluate sustainability of its development, the potential of this touristic destination is researched regarding various areas, including key products. These are subjected to comparisons with recommendations of significant tourism organization for the purpose of assessing the sustainability of tourism. The diploma thesis also includes a comparison with other Czech regions experience as a touristic destination. Vysocina Region has favourable initial conditions for its sustainable development, especially regarding supply of key products, which include both environmentally friendly goods and cultural attractiveness contributing to the personal development of individuals and promoting intercultural tolerance. The main issue appears to be the spatial imbalance of its development in the region, caused mainly by the concentration of tourist activities to certain areas and low local initiative in the less attractive areas. The diploma thesis proposes a number of solutions, such as utilization of geocaching and products of gastroturism, supporting the foundation of local destination management organisations, promoting cycling tourism and the foundation of highly visited tourist destinations.

The work concerned with the sustainable development of tourism and its friendly forms. The issue is applied to the example of the protected area Křivoklátsko. The aim of Diploma Thesis is to evaluate the current status and potential of sustainable tourism development, including mapping the availability of sustainable forms of tourism within the protected area Křivoklátsko and outline prospects, potential and opportunities for further development. The theoretical part defines the concept of sustainable development, definition, indicators and principles on which it is based issues in general as well as in relation to tourism. In the practical part the region as a tourism destination: the attractiveness of the area, živostní environment, material and technical base, sound forms of tourism and development potential. Part of the work is the analysis of the potential for sustainable tourism development of the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko made on the basis of survey among entrepreneurs in tourism, tourists, residents and county public administration bodies. The overall assessment of the status and potential of sustainable tourism development in the region is used and SWOT analysis.

This Diploma thesis focuses on sustainable forms of tourism. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the support of its development and to assess whether this support is sufficient. The first chapter theoretically defines these forms of tourism and the support of its development mentioned in legislative documents and strategic development plans. The second chapter is devoted to organizational and institutional support. The third chapter concentrates on certifications that lead to increasing market transparency, and ecolabelling, contributing to sustainable development, is also mentioned. The final chapter lists several programmes from which municipalities and entrepreneurs can draw financial means for their development. There are also results of the questionnaire research about supporting the development of sustainable forms of tourism. The respondents were from both the public and private sectors. In the end, there are proposals of appropriate measures to enhance promotion of sustainable tourism.

The thesis topic is creating conditions for successful implementation of alternative fuel technologies in passenger cars on the Czech market. Its goal is to develop a comprehensive concept of proposed measures that would create demand for alternative powertrain. It analyzes current situation of the environmental-friendly vehicles market and examines reasons why consumers have not been purposefully searching for these cars so far. The thesis consists of several coherent blocks. The first one deals with general aspects of innovations and development, energy resources, climate protection and car fleet in the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on new alternative technologies from the viewpoint of energy resources and examines the offer on the local market. The third section includes a consumer research focused on information related to potential customers' preferences and compares economic efficiency and costs of selected technologies. The final part presents proposed ways of accomplishing the main goal, while special attention is given to specific recommendations, which would help to create demand and facilitate promotion among consumers.

The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to horse wood skidding problematic. It deals with cold-blooded horses characteristics and describes the wood skidding processes realized by horses. The thesis also presents other wood skidding technologies, especially tractors using, harvester technology and forest funiculars. It is also engaged in subsidies for horses wood skidding supporting. The economic exacting of horses work in the forestry contains the end of the theoretical part.
The practical part of the thesis is divided into two objects. The first one deals with the Ministry of Agriculture financial contributions for the horse wood skidding. The second part deals with analysis of the offered price for 1 m3 of the manipulated wood and with the annual performance of the horse work. The founded data are evaluated and the improvement of the economic situation for horse wood skidding is recommended at the end of the thesis.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the sustainable development of tourism in the Karlovy Vary Region. In the theoretical part the concept of sustainable development and its principles are explained and applied to the tourism industry. Then the role of some international and national institutions in promoting these principles in the Czech Republic is described. In the practical part the Karlovy Vary Region is characterized, the environment friendly forms of tourism, opportunities for their further development and support arrangements are described. In the third and fourth chapter selected indicators of sustainable development of tourism and the survey which focused on awareness of sustainable development among the population, the tourists, entrepreneurs and public administration staff are used to analyse the current state of sustainable development of tourism in the Karlovy Vary Region. For the overall evaluation the SWOT analysis is used.

The thesis addresses the issue of sustainable tourism development which is illustrated on the example of the Moravian-Silesian region (of the Czech Republic). The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the current condition as well as the potential of sustainable tourism development in the Moravian-Silesian region. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to sustainable development with its basic pillars and principles. The Moravian-Silesian region is characterized in terms of in terms of environment, transport infrastructure, and tourism in the practical part of the thesis. In addition, the offer of environmentally-friendly forms of tourism in the region, their support and opportunities for further development is addressed. A significant portion is dedicated to the analysis of knowledge of sustainable tourism development in the region which is based in responses by entrepreneurs in tourism in the Moravian-Silesian region, tourists, residents of the region, and employees of the regional administrative office. The SWOT analysis serves as an instrument for the evaluation of the current state and the potential opportunities for sustainable tourism development in the region.

There are significant consequences in to existing historical buildgs as new developments adapt such trends. For a harmonicous suistainable development it would be needed a compromise between economical, social and environmental interests. If it is not accomplished, the city will not be funcional.

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part includes the delineation of basic terms, needful for a further work. The first chapter offers a definition and an evaluation of a historical development of a body image. Subsequently, the work is concerned with a marketing communication. It offers an inspection of a phenomenon of advertisement, its effectivity on addresses and a psychological insight encompased within the field of advertising. The chapter also includes the description of media and their respective influences on the perception of a beauty ideal. The second part of the thesis is oriented towards a practical, analytical activity. The description of a theoretical base as well as a practical use of a content analysis and implied methods are the points of the chapter's departure. The conclusion part of the work provides the readers with conclusions of the content analysis and a questionnaire results.

The aim of the Thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of voluntary instruments of environmental protection as an example of eco-labelling and to verify the hypothesis whether eco-labelling is an appropriate instrument to influence consumption and production of environmentally friendly products and services. Based on the characteristics of voluntary instruments of environmental protection this work defines the types of environmental labelling and evaluates under what conditions can be eco-labelling systems, both economically and environmentally, efficient. Focusing primarily on Type I environmental labelling on the basis of summaries of works already carried out, my Thesis studies and evaluates the importance and impact of this tool for consumers, businesses and the environment. The next part of the work is focused on the issue of environmentally preferable purchasing and green public procurement, mainly at the level of the Czech Republic. The practical part verifies the hypothesis about the effectiveness of eco-labelling for example, the National Programme for Labelling Environmentally friendly products and services of the Czech Republic and European Union eco-labelling system. The method of sample survey was conducted and analyzed to what extent these systems are successful at eco-labelling. The survey was conducted among consumers and users of eco-labelling - in the companies involved in the aforementioned eco-labelling systems. The survey was supplemented by the views of experts from the field and has been evaluated by their expert view on these voluntary instruments.

The thesis is concerned with the sustainable tourism development theme. Its goal is to chart the present state and provide sequent perspectives of the development in Central Bohemian Region. In the theoretical part, the attention is paid to sustainable tourism development theme on global, European and national level. Emphasis is then placed on analysis of environmentaly friendly forms of tourism in Central Bohemian Region and evaluation based on the selected indicators for sustainable tourism. Analytical part contains analysis of sustainable tourism development awareness in Central Bohemian Region based on a questionnaire investigation. Proposals for the future are included as well.

In the end of resume there are showed five different projects, which supported sustainable tourism in their surroundings. Their outputs are used for formulation of strategy, which focuses on use of sustainable tourism principles. Final design is divided into two parts, first deals with landscape arrangements, second part handles with values interpretation via a game.

The main objective of this thesis has been to develop the project proposal, which could help solve the problems of tourism development. The situational analysis of tourism development in the area, setting marketing goals, selection of marketing strategies and creating a tourism development plan were important for the elaboration of the project proposal. The main goal of the thesis has been accomplished by the creation of the cycling nature trail ``What is hidden around the Starý Herštejn{\crqq} that is aimed at attracting attention to extinct villages, defunct glassworks, to the ruins of Starý Herštejn, to the monastery and attractions of Pivoň and other historical monuments hidden in the pure nature of the Bohemian Forest. Thanks to the cycling nature trail, visitors would learn more about historical development of human settlements and other attractions in the border area.

To meet the objectives was created offer analysis, compiled from online sources and books and analysis of demand through questionnaire survey, which investigated interest of respondents in environmentally friendly accommodation. Data obtained by analysis of offer and demand has led to the creation of proposals for optimizing the development of environmentally friendly accommodation in the area.

The Influence of Normative Factors on Environmentally Friendly Consumer Behavior As consumer behavior is a type of environmentally significant behavior, it plays a fundamental role in environmental concerns of our time. In the long-term, current consumption and production patterns are not sustainable. The goal of this thesis was to investigate the influence of descriptive social norms on environmentally friendly consumer behavior using a randomized experiment quantitative approach. Data was collected using online surveys. Experiment results show that providing information about the behavior of others has an impact on how we perceive descriptive norms and that a change in descriptive norms influences our environmentally significant behavior intentions. This was, however, only confirmed under the circumstances when respondents identified themselves with a reference group, which was a carrier of descriptive norms. Thus, this thesis broadens our knowledge of the impact of descriptive norms on environmentally friendly behavior, because it was previously assumed that descriptive norms are a significant factor only in situations with strictly defined reference groups. Gentle forms of tourism can be defined as tourism that focuses on nature, culture and historical wealth. The theoretical part includes a literary research focused on the description and geography of tourism, tourism psychology, motivation and travel experience. An important part is the issue of the negative impacts of tourism, where afterwards the gentle forms of tourism are highlighted. The presented work is focused mainly on the attractiveness of agrotourism as a form of leisure time, where it is mainly about the trace of public interest. Another, no less important goal is to find out the contribution of agro-tourism to the participants and the village, the attractiveness of the Šumava for visitors, the reason for the establishment of agrotourism farms and the support of the state.

I describe a rural tourism in Soběslav and Veselí region in this diploma work. A reason why I chose this subject matter of the diploma work was an understanding and analysis of present rural tourism in these regions. I think that this form of tourism is not preferred and developed in this destination. But this destination has good conditions for a developing of the rural tourism, which is popular between tourists. I made the analysis of the rural tourism and itś developing in this work. I tried to uncover itś problems and perspectives. A goal of this work was a presenting of these regions as a popular destination of many czech and foreign tourists. I have an opinion that suggestions in this work can give advice to businessmen in the rural tourism, how they can attract touristś attention and which places are the most interesting. Other goal of this work was suggesting of effectual steps, which help to improve promotion of the rural tourism in these regions.

A farm tractor, skidder, cable system, forwarders, and forwarders in combination with harvesters were selected as model skidding technologies. The selected input parameters included: slope inclination, ground bearing capacity, risk of logging-transportation erosion development, presence and size of obstacles, skidding distance, terrain shape and age of stands. Weights of input parameters for multiciteria evaluation were defined by means of Saaty matrix and geometric mean of rows.

The undergraduate education is one of the important factors that contribute to forming of the opinions and attitudes towards the world and global issues. One of them is the environment topic, which has become a priority interest of both the politicians and general public as a reaction to possible environment risks in the 1960's. According to current data summarized in the strategic documents it is necessary to address the environment problems as a complex issue and besides government, market and technology arrangements it is also essential to focus on the end users. The areas which have the most significant impact on the environment include drink and food consumption and the usage of buildings. The awareness of the problem and the attitudes towards the environment issue are reflected in the more responsible approach to consumption. The aim of this work is to discover whether there is a relation between the advancing environmental education of FRRMS students and their consumer choices.
