Abstract:
This article aims to explain a dangerous form of sexual deviation where the perpetrator uses sexual gratification with sexually oriented inanimate or inanimate objects known as fetishes. Fetish behavior is a form of sexual deviation where the sexual activity carried out is carried out improperly to get sexual pleasure. Deviant sexual behavior if not above will lead to sexual behavior that is growing and even leads to prolonged stress. This is because the perpetrators cannot channel their deviant sexual desires and also have an impact on a person's mental health disorder. The research method used in writing this journal is a literature study based on case studies. The results of the analysis obtained data that fetish sexual deviation behavior in mental health can be treated through Islamic therapy to suppress deviations committed by perpetrators.

Abstract:
COVID-19 is undoubtedly having an immerse impact on well being. One way of coping to tackle the impact of this pandemic outbreaks is through sexual activity which can cause the development of sexual deviation. The purpose of this literature review is to gain understanding of the existing research and theories relevant to sexual deviation, and to present the review in the form of a report. Sexual deviation can be explained from the perspective of behavioristic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive. Reinforcement can cause the behavior to be repeated and traumatic childhood experience may result in sexual deviance. One way to treat sexual deviance is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). We believe the result of this study can be used as reference to find the cause of sexual deviation and come up with specific treatment.

Abstract:
Sexual orientation deviation is one of the problems often found in adolescents today. Sexual orientation in adolescents is one of the critical components in adolescent development because it involves adolescents' identity, interests, and sexual behaviour when will enter adulthood. Deviations Within the boundaries of the ideology and culture of the nation, this deviation from sexual orientation will cause developmental disorders in adolescents, and it is necessary to identify the root of the problem so that we can take preventive action. This study aimed to analyze the condition of student sexual orientation and further analyze its relationship with family characteristics, student characteristics, parenting styles, and peer attachment. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. The examples in this study were 272 students of the Vocational School of the Bogor Agricultural University who had complete parents with a proportion of 182 women and 90 men. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The correlation test results showed that the sex of students and family size were related to sexual orientation. G that parenting style on the dimensions of rejection and coercion is related to sexual orientation. In addition, peer attachment to the dimension of alienation relates to student sexual orientation. Negative parenting styles and peer attachment have a relationship with sexual orientation. Therefore, parents should avoid negative parenting styles and control their children's environment so that sexual orientation deviations do not occur. Negative parenting styles in rejection, chaos and parental coercion tend to be associated with deviations in student sexual orientation. Likewise, the dimension of a perceived alienation from peer relationships also relates to student sexual orientation deviations.

Abstract:
Sexmissbruk eller diagnosmissbruk? – En diskursanalys av begreppet sexmissbruk Jakobsson, R.Key words: diagnoses, hypersexuality, medicalization, nymphomania, sexual addiction, sexual behavior, sexual compulsivity, sexual deviation, shame, social construction. Background: Sexual addiction has been given a dominant discoursive power in Sweden which (re)inforces the idea that sexuality is essentially a dangerous and lethal force. Methods: The thesis consists of two sub studies. Firstly, a critical discourse analysis is conducted over scientifical articles of sexual addiction and sexual compulsivity. Secondly, a critical discourse analysis of the concept of sexual addiction in newspapers in Sweden’s largest newspaper, DN, and an evening paper, Aftonbladet. These two sub studies are reflected towards each other to examine the construction and discourses surrounding sexual addiction. Results: The first sub study shows that sexual addiction is a term and concept that lacks empirical data. However, research still speculates that a sex addict can be someone who compulsively consumes any sexual behaviors that deviates from marital sex. The second sub study shows that sexual addiction is a vague concept that could be applied to most people in society; it may include people who masturbate, are unfaithfull, are rapists, perform incest, consume pornography, have difficulties with intimacy and/or have multiple sexual partners. Conclusion: Sexual addiction is a moral concept, which pathologizes people who deviate from erotic normalcy. The media articles presented a vague image of a sex addict that includes a series of sexual behaviors, ranging from masturbation to sex offending. Although research has been conducted for over 30 years, there is no empirical data about what constitutes sexual addiction and what the potential consequences for the individual and society are. In sum, both science and popular discourses presents a potential addiction to diagnoses.Suggested Citation: "Jakobsson. R. Abstract:
Male homosexuality was illegal in England and Wales from 1533 until 1967 and, along with transvestism, was considered an antisocial 'sexual deviation' that could be 'cured'. Nurses were involved in administering treatments to cure these individuals. This study used oral history interviews with fifteen nurses, along with documentary sources, to examine the meanings that nurses attached to these treatments, and represents the first attempt to examine nurses' perceptions on providing such treatments. The study also conducted oral history interviews with seven patient's and explores their experiences of receiving these treatments to obtain a better understanding of the topic in question and claim a 'history from below' which allows us to see historical practice from a new perspective. The period examined by this thesis was 1935 to 1974. It begins with the publication of the first official report on the use of aversion therapy to treat homosexuality. This publication, along with prejudicial attitudes towards homosexuals and transvestites in the media and in literary, medical, sociological and legal discourses, provided some momentum for the use of aversion therapy to cure these individuals. The period ends in 1974 with the seventh printing of the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic Statistical Manual version II, which removed homosexuality as a category of psychiatric disorder in the USA. None of the patients in this study reported that the treatment had been effective and all were left feeling emotionally troubled by it. The study explored a number of influences that may have motivated nurses to administer these painful and distressing treatments. Nurses' work was largely constrained by the asylum-type conditions in which they worked, and the character and quality of patient care was largely influenced by the medical staff, who appeared to have overriding control of both the institution and the nurses working within it. In addition, due to their limited knowledge base, nurses believed that it was pertinent for the well-being of a patient that nurses obey medical orders. They took on the status offered to them of obedient order-takers. Nevertheless, from accounts gathered during this study, some nurses covertly undermined their superiors and engaged in subversive behaviours to avoid participating in this aspect of clinical practice. The thesis offers a hitherto undiscovered insight into the role of mental nurses caring for patients receiving aversion therapy for sexual deviation. In doing so, it provides insights into the way nurses may behave when a particular set of social, political and contextual factors are at play. As the first study to focus on exploring the nurses' role in caring for sexually deviant patients, it provides in-depth historical analysis of this subject and related issues as well as a basis for further historical analysis in this area. It is envisaged that this study might also act as a reminder of the need for nurses to ensure that their interventions have a sound evidence base, and that they constantly reflect on the moral and value base of their practice and the influence that science, societal norms and contexts can have on changing views of what is regarded as 'acceptable practice'.

Abstract:
The researches in Brazil and around the world evidence that the sexual abuse perpetrated for fathers against their daughters is a practical which outstrips the limits of geographic or cultural borders. Our studies aimed to comprehend, through a cases analysis, the generation, maintenance and transmission of the elements that perpetuate the intrafamilial violence, concerning to abusive incest father-daughter. Utilizing the help of professionals who worked at an ONG however, without any personal or institutional bond of them with the contacted family we could find our researchs subject. Its a qualitative research, based on nuclear familys scenes, in a perspective of the generations transmission, from the analysis of the content supplied by the protagonist. In this way, it was utilized the not-directive interview. Our study evidenced that, between the perverse web which characterizes the relationships in intrafamilial violence, the incestuous sexual abuse is distinguished like this universes cruelest face and reaffirms its condition of maximum exponent as pathologic factor inside this set of subjects dynamic known as abusive family, nowadays causing many damages to the individual and group mental functioning of its members. Leaving of psychoanalysis theoretic concepts, we search the comprehension of the interchange between subjective experience and objective reality into the aggressors psyche, his victims responsive attitude, familys contribution and cultures role in the phenomenons perpetuation. We verify, therefore, it concerns to an amalgam formed for elements of philogenesis, ontogenesis and culture. Because of it, the Édipos complex appeared as the nodal point, surrounded for all the dynamic of incestuous abuse father-daughter that had became the cruelest way of symbolic filicide. The sexual abuse, according to our understanding, will allow an effective intervention in terms of the cultural code just by the victims and her familys side, since by the aggressors side we will find, even with giant gradation, the psychopathology, that is, the incapacity to contain the desire, the impulses dominium, the not being susceptible to the moral and ethics, at last, the perversion. And, in this case, the interventions go of isolation to chemical castration, crossing the psychotherapy without, however, encouraging results. We consider that the formation of the characters structure is a learning processs product, and this process means the conformation of the subject to the culture, having as basis the behaviors social and biological factors. Therefore, we believe that education is the propeller instrument of the paradigms changes we need to think and work the family. However, its relevant to observe that, as structural factor of the mental functioning, the applicability of Edipos law to the new familiar configurations can be object of this themes posterior deepening, as well as for studies with other themes inherent to the family

Abstract:
This paper describes what some 9th grade students think of their sex education in school, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. I have been using group interviews in two different schools, two groups per school. The result of the students' answers have been analysed on the basis of queer theory focusing on gender and sexual identity. The result of the study shows that the students consider their sexual education to be lacking, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. Another conclusion of the analysis is that a sex education grounded in queer theory would be more inclusive.

Ellis, Matthew. "Telling the truth? : exploring notions of self and responsibility with young people involved in treatment for harmful sexual behaviour." Thesis, University of Sussex, 2018. http://sro.sussex.ac.uk/id/eprint/76875/.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis combines autoethnography (Adams et al., 2015) with a psychosocial (Frosh, 2010; Hollway and Jefferson, 2013) approach to explore notions of self and responsibility in the self-narratives of young people involved in treatment for harmful sexual behaviour (HSB). It reflects an area of professional interest for me as a social worker involved in the assessment and treatment of young people classified as having sexual behaviour problems, and appears to be an under represented area of the research literature. Working with the psychoanalytic concept of transference I also explore how as a researcher I make sense of the ways in which professionals and young people encounter each other in treatment. Drawing on poststructuralist conceptions of self and an ethical life (Butler, 2005), I suggest that treatment operates as a form of ethical violence, if ethical violence is to require a coherent self-narrative from young people as part-evidence of them taking personal responsibility (Butler, 2005). Rather than focusing on the ‘truth' of a ‘seamless story', I am interested in what Butler (2005) calls ‘enigmatic articulations' that cannot easily be narrated. From this perspective I use autoethnographic methods and psychoanalytic tools to consider how unconscious dynamics might be enacted between practitioners and young people in treatment to produce meaning, and to make sense of discomfiting, and sometimes conflictual experiences. The empirical study employed a qualitative longitudinal design (Thomson, 2012) gathering narrative data over the course of eight months from six young men aged between sixteen and eighteen, at various stages of treatment for HSB. Interviews were conducted using the ‘Free Association Narrative Interview' method (Hollway and Jefferson, 2013), and complemented with creative/arts-based techniques, such as music and collage (Thomson, 2008). Personal reflections and insights, aroused through my own transference were also produced during data collection and analysis. Data analysis was inductive, utilising narrative (Doucet and Mauthner, 2008), and psychosocial approaches (Frosh and Baraitser, 2008; Hollway and Jefferson, 2013), informed by psychoanalytic (Laplanche and Pontalis, 1973; Zizek, 2006; Frosh, 2012) and social (Butler, 2004, 2005; Frosh, 2010) theoretical perspectives. Findings are presented in the form of three case studies, influenced by the psychoanalytic case study tradition (Forrester, 1996) and autoethnography (Ellis and Rawicki, 2013), which serve as exemplars, illustrating themes that emerged from the wider data set. Each presents my understanding and interpretation of the young person's story, in relation to their experience of treatment as provided over the course of the interviews. The case studies also highlight some of the complex struggles involved for young people in trying to narratively locate themselves between various, and often competing discursive demands, and provide insights from my experience as a practice informed researcher and interlocutor engaged in collaborative meaning making. The narratives are analysed to reveal discordant voices characterised by contradictions and inconsistencies; fears, anxieties and uncertain futures, as well as un-narrated feelings of dangerousness, which are echoed and amplified through my own highly personalised reflections. The thesis makes a number of original contributions, and develops new substantive knowledge regarding an understanding of young people attending treatment for harmful sexual behaviour, particularly in relation to how they view themselves and their treatment journeys. By writing autoethnographically, and using this to present participant stories as multivoiced narratives I am bringing both a researcher, and practitioner perspective into view regarding young people's understanding of responsibility, truth and disclosure. The application of Lacanian-influenced, psychosocial, creative, narrative and autoethnographic methods is original in its approach to researching ‘beneath the surface' with young people involved in treatment for HSB. The thesis also generates valuable insights in terms of the limits of narrative approaches to treatment, and the support needs of practitioners.

Abstract:
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the quality of life (QOL) in women with early breast cancer treated with adjuvant endocrine therapy and to explore its relationships with patients’ clinical and social characteristics, type and time on endocrine therapy, and site of treatment (public vs. private health service). Methodology: Women with a past history of earlystage estrogen-receptor-positive invasive carcinoma of the breast on adjuvant endocrine therapy for at least 6 months were invited to participate in this study. To assess QOL while on therapy, patients were assessed with EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR23 questionnaires. Demographic and clinical information was reviewed from medical records. Data collection was performed using the RedCap software, and statistical analyses were performed using the R software (R Core Team (2022). Results: From June 2021 to March 2023, a total of 212 patients from 6 institutions (2 public and 4 private) were evaluated. The median age was 56.7 years. A total of 51 (24.1%) patients were premenopausal, 138 (65.1%) received (neo)adjuvant chemotherapy, and the mean time on endocrine therapy was 3.7 years. A total of 115 (54.2%) patients were on aromatase inhibitors, 31 (14.6%) were on ovarian suppression, and 66 (31.1%) were on tamoxifen. Domains of emotional functioning 64.9 (standard deviation – SD 28.4), cognitive function 65.4 (31.9), future perspective 56.8 (35.3), sexual functioning 19.9 (21.9), and sexual enjoyment 47.2 (28.0) were affected in this cohort. Premenopausal women presented with significantly lower scores for emotional functioning (54.6 vs. 68.2, p=0.003) and cognitive functioning (56.5 vs. 68.2, p=0.022) than postmenopausal women. Among premenopausal patients, ovarian suppression contributed to lower scores in cognitive and social functioning domains. Conclusion: This study showed significant impairment of QOL of women on adjuvant endocrine therapy, especially in premenopausal women.

Abstract:
Abstract. Introduction. The protection of the reproductive health of the working-age population is the most important direction of State policy. In 5-15% of cases, the causes of reproductive dysfunction are immunological disorders. Benzene belongs to the group of industrial reprotoxicants, however, its effect of benzene on the reproductive system has not been sufficiently studied. Objective: to study the immunological aspects of the effect of benzene on the reproductive system. Methods. We examined 50 men exposed to benzene with reproductive disorders (26-49 years old), as well as 4 workers with normal sexual function aged 53-60 years. Spontaneous and induced changes in the cellular expression of apoptosis markers were studied. For the study, the ANNEXIN V-FITC/7-AAD kit was used for the detection of cells that have undergone apoptosis. The experiment was conducted in vitro using a biological medium (ejaculate). A factor of the chemical nature was benzene. Results. According to the results of the comparative analysis, there were no significant deviations of pathogenetic tests of immunological markers in comparison with the reference level in the spontaneous expression samples, but there was an excess of expression of the CD95 + cell death receptor (p<0.05) in 30% of the samples examined, and a decrease in the number of Annexin V-FITC+7AAD negative cells (without reaching the significance level) in samples with a load of (15%). There was a difference in the expression levels of CD95+ and CD25+ CD-reception indicators by 20% and 10% in relation to the spontaneous level (p<0.05). Representatives of the chemical group of aromatic hydrocarbons realize reprotoxicity, using the mechanism of excessive induction of the membrane signaling of the cell death receptor, accelerate the natural program of cell death by approximately 20% compared to the state of reproductive cells that were not stimulated. Conclusion. At the present stage, one of the tasks of occupational medicine is to study the effect of chemicals on the processes of reproduction, to develop new approaches to assessing the risk of their impact on the reproductive health of workers.

Abstract:
Deviations of hemogram values in distant periods of invasion in opisthorchiasis are poorly studied, they are only usually studied in case of serious complications of the disease. An experiment was carried out on sexually mature male rodents (rabbits). The invasive dose for each animal in the observation group was 50 metacercariae of Opisthorchis felineus (n=10). Clinically healthy male animals of the same age and sex (n=10) were the control group. The leukogram was studied after 30 months to assess the condition of the animals. Capillary blood smears were fixed and stained by May-Grunwald and Romanowsky-Giemsa methods and examined by light immersion microscopy manually using the meander method. Statistical data processing was performed using the Microsoft Excel application package by calculating the arithmetic mean with the standard error of the mean. Analysis of intergroup data was performed using nonparametric Mann-Whitney U-criterion for unrelated populations with non-normal distribution with p ≤ 0.05. In an intergroup comparison of the data obtained, the number of lymphocytes in the observation group was 1.35 less than the control; stab neutrophils were 5.8 less than the control; the differences were statistically significant. The number of segmented neutrophils in the observation group was 1.38 greater than the control (differences were statistically insignificant), eosinophils were 9.6 greater and basophils were 12.3 greater, and differences were statistically significant. It was found that lymphopenia, stab neutrophils, segmented neutrophils, eosinophilia and basophilia were observed in the chronic phase of infection in the rabbits after 30 months.
