Suicide notes are generally written on readily available materials, such as paper, notebook, wall or mirror by means of pen, pencil, marker or chalk. They can also be communicated by telephone, text messages, internet and digital media. A case has been reported where a note was written with henna. Suicide notes written on one’s body are uncommon, and notes engraved on the body with a sharp metallic object are extremely rare. We present two cases where a sharp pointed metallic object was used to write suicide notes on the body.

In an alternating magnetic field, the interphase boundary oscillates, which may be accompanied by a resonance. Abstract:
The question is examined of a mirror which starts from rest and either (i) accelerates for some time and eventually reverts to motion at constant velocity, (ii) continues accelerating forever. A sharp distinction in made between cases (i) and (ii) concerning the spectrum of the emitted radiation, and the qualitative difference between the two cases is pointed out. The Bogolubov coefficients are calculated for a trajectory of type (i). A type (ii) trajectory is entirely unphysical as far as any realistic mirror is concerned, however it is of interest in that it has been used as a simple analog

Eriocoma valdesiisp. nov., is described and illustrated. The new species was found growing on calcareous rocky slopes and hillsides between 1700–2721 m in Coahuila, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas. The new species is morphologically similar to Eriocoma lobata but differs in having ligules (2–) 4.5–8.5 mm long with acute to narrowly acute and lacerate apices and florets with a sharp-pointed callus. In addition, we include a key to the species of Eriocoma in northeastern México.

Abstract:
Swallowing of foreign body is a common problem in children. Although most foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract will pass spontaneously, passage of sharp and pointed object such as a long nail is unusual. We report a case of a 2-year old female who swallowed a 3-inch nail and passed the nail per rectum spontaneously without problems while preparations were being made for the removal of the nail. The rarity of this event makes it worthy of being reported.

Abstract:
Let G be a graph. The Hosoya index of G , denoted by z G , is defined as the total number of its matchings. The computation of z G is NP-Complete. Wagner and Gutman pointed out that it is difficult to obtain results of the maximum Hosoya index among tree-like graphs with given diameter. In this paper, we focus on the problem, and a sharp bound of Hosoya indices of all bicyclic graphs with diameter of 3 is determined.

Abstract:
Typhlops golyathi sp. nov. is described from Pinar del Río Province, Western Cuba. It is characterized by its large size, sharp–pointed to rounded snout, broad rostral in dorsal view, broader than long, preocular in contact with second and third supralabials, greater number of middorsal scales than any other West Indian scolecophidian (629), and 26 longitudinal scale rows anteriorly reducing to 22 posteriorly at 42 % total length. It can be placed within the T. biminiensis species group and a key to the Cuban species is presented.

Sharp accidents frequently occur during the practice of dentistry, due to the use of sharp and pointed elements. This usually happens to dentists and especially to students, due to conditions attributable to the practice itself, such as: stress, movement of the patient, reduced space, among others. Through an accident with sharps it is possible to generate inoculation of pathogenic agents when exposed to contaminated biological substances, the main pathogenic agents identified in various studies are: HIV, Hepatitis B virus, Hepatitis C virus, among others. Biosafety protocols have been establi

This research calculates the modified capacitance of the electrode capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) model with a crown sharp-plane configuration. The CCP model is an electrode model similar to the principle of a capacitor in a conventional circuit but differs in the arrangement of the electrodes. In the case of a positive corona, the structure of the positions of the active electrodes is almost vertical in the air, and the part of the passive electrodes is lying horizontally under the active electrodes. The shape of the active electrode is sharp at the tip of the electrode, which will cause a

Piglets are born with 8 very sharp ‘needle-teeth’ - 4 incisors and 4 canines. These pointed teeth grow outwards, two on either side in each jaw, leaving an open space in the front of the mouth. In intensively run units, the tips of these teeth are usually removed soon after birth, using a pair of side cutter pliers. This is said to reduce the severity of piglet face wounding, caused by natural competition for space at the udder and during play. Reducing injury by clipping teeth is also said to limit the sites of entry for micro-organisms. Blunt clippers and clipping teeth too close to the gum

Abstract:
The sharp rise in the development of vehicle industry in China not only promotes both the national economy development and the people living quality, but also aggravates both the national energy security and the environmental issues. Adopting alternative fuels instead of petroleum is commonly regarded as the utmost promising solution, however, which alternative fuel(s) is more suitable for China is still in the argument. The present paper compared the characteristics and performance of hydrogen gas and fossil-based fuels, and pointed that hydrogen gas is more suitable for China than fossil-bas
