In this thesis we consider two models for the computation of option prices. The first one is a generalization of the Black-Scholes model. In this generalization the volatility Sigma is not a constant. In the simplest case it changes at once at a certain time moment Tau. In some sense this is the conditionally Levy model. For this generalized Black-Scholes model have been theoretically obtained formulas for vanilla Call/Put option prices. Under the assumption of a good prediction of the parameter Sigma the obtained numerical results fit the real dara better than standard Black-Scholes model.

Second model is an exponential Levy model, where a Levy process is the CGMY process. We use the finite-difference scheme for computations of option prices. As example we consider vanilla Call/Put, Double-Barrier and Up-and-out options. After the estimation of the parameters of the CGMY process by the method of moments we obtain options prices and calculate fitting error. This fitting error for the CGMY model is smaller than for the Black-Scholes model.

My composition May-SHEE-Ka from Atzlan for orchestra and choir creates a sound world that imagines what some of the sounds might have been like when the Mexica people first arrived on the banks of Lake Texcoco in the early development of the Mesoamerican region. This along with my research of the Mexicas musical and cultural practices provides the context for this work for full orchestra and SATB choir. The title of my work May-SHEE-Ka from Aztlan is derived from the pronunciation of the word Mexica in the Nahuatl language of Mesoamerica. Mexica is the name of the nomadic tribe more commonly referred to as the Aztecs. It is believed that the Mexica came from Atzlan, which is said to be the ancestral home of the Nahua peoples, a key cultural group of Mesoamerica. The word Azteca comes from the Nahuatl word for people from Atzlan. The title of this work is my own extraction of this historical understanding.

Ce travail s’attache à répondre à deux préoccupations majeures :

-déterminer le statut sociolinguistique du kindubile, parler des enfants de la rue de Lubumbashi appelés « shege ».

-préciser les contextes de mobilisation du kindubile par les shege ainsi que les différentes significations qu’il revêt à leurs yeux.

Il est basé sur un corpus très hétérogène: les données verbales (entretiens semi-directifs, libres, récits de vie, chansons et surnoms) et les matériaux picturaux (graffitis, tags et dessins) produits par les enfants eux-mêmes. Les analyses sont inspirées en linguistique par la pragmatique et en sociologie par l’interactionnisme symbolique, la théorie de l’acteur et du système ainsi que la théorie dispositionnaliste de Bernard Lahire.

Cette dissertation a conduit aux résultats suivants :

-le kindubile est un argot swahili. Sa grammaire est globalement identique à celle du kiswahili de Lubumbashi. La seule différence s’observe au niveau du lexique. Celui-ci, outre les procédés de création cryptique (adjonctions, suppressions, permutations et leur combinaison reste prolixe et focalisé sur certains registres seulement :la nourriture, l’argent, la débrouille, la violence et la sexualité. Ces domaines demeurent hautement significatifs à leur yeux d’autant plus qu’ils sont corrélés et indispensables à la vie de rue.

-Les enfants de la rue recourent à l’argot pour communiquer entre eux, pour un repli identitaire (ils veulent s’affirmer comme un groupe particulier et en même temps être reconnus autant que respectés comme des personnes humaines à part entière). Ils recourent également au kindubile pour crypter leur message en parlant des stupéfiants, de la sexualité ou en voulant subtiliser un bien à quelqu’un). Ils emploient aussi le kindubile comme un espace de défoulement. En effet, ils expriment leur mécontentement de la société qui les a produits mais craignant les représailles, ils préfèrent s’exprimer en argot. Ils parlent aussi kindubile pour provoquer la peur chez leur interlocuteur lorsqu’ils le jugent nécessaire.

In corporate applications, we often do not want to go through the complicated procedures before receiving the required documents or information, especially for those which provides many services for the users. In order to enhance the efficiency, the company groups may have representatives to provide services for users. The spirit of group signature is that any company member may sign the document or message signature on behalf of the company. When a company member provides business service to us, we would always expect to get some discounts or rewards. However the company representatives often do not want us to share the discount information to the others, which may lead to the company loss. "Non-transferability" on the chameleon hash function can assist us on achieving the demand base characteristic. However, when the company provides services, trading, and sending the message to users, we have to retain a document or message privacy. So it is necessary to combine signature and encryption mechanisms. In order to reduce traditional signatures and encryption cost of a two-stage, we based on the chameleon hash functions combine group signature and signcryption. When the sender sent the signcryption text to the receiver, the recipient can verify the signature as a valid group signcryption text. The receiver cannot transfer the signcryption text to others. In order to reduce the costs necessary to arbitration disputes, the signcryption text is allowed the recipient to change the signcryption text into ordinary signature. According to the method proposed in this study, based on chameleon hash functions combined the group signature and signcryption characteristics that have the following advantages: 1. In order to improve the efficiency of the signcryption procedure, members of the group can behalf of the group product the signcryption. 2. In order to reduce traditional calculation time and transmission costs of two-stage signature and encryption by signcryption mechanisms. 3. We can achieve the necessary about group member anonymity, group signcryption text repudiation, confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity. 4. In order to protect their group interests to achieve non-transferability, the recipient receives the group signcryption and recipient cannot transfer the signcryption text to other people. 5. When the event of a dispute： (1) Group undenied who produce the signcryption text. (2) Groups can deny the group signcrypted if the recipient forging. (3) System Authority can track the actual signer in the group.

This thesis presents a new timing-tracking scheme in an SRAM design for enhancing the tolerance capability of bitline variation. This scheme, modifying the circuitry around each sense amplifier, allows an SRAM column to operate according its own timing. Thus, each latch-based sense amplifier can be turned on at the right time and the pulse width of the active wordline can be tuned to its optimal width on the fly, no matter how severe the operation speed of a bitline differs from the other. Pre-layout SPICE simulation with 1K-bit SRAM cells demonstrates the effectiveness of this scheme. Monte-Carlo simulation with 10% process variation shows that our scheme can improve the yield from 79.2% to 96.3%, as compared to the traditional replica-based timing tracking scheme.

Pendubot is a planar two-link underactuated robotic mechanism and serves as a benchmark example to test developed control algorithms for underactuated mechanical systems. In this thesis we attempt to use the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model for the task of the trajectory tracking of the Pendubot. Two proposed control algorithms employ the fuzzy control that is designed by an aggregation of the fuzzy local controllers. For the first control algorithm, the local controller consists of an optimal output feedback plus a term for perturbation rejection, which is design based on the output optimal control and the linear regulatory theory. For the second control algorithm, the local controller is constructed with the state observer. The advantage for such designs is only simple fuzzy controllers are used in the approaches. The proposed two control laws ensure global stability of the closed-loop system and the first one also guarantees the optimal output trajectory tracking

This thesis is to study the taxonomy of Plectoptera from Fushan to Wulai at the water shed of Nan-Shih stream in Taipei Prefecture collected during 1996 June to 1998 June. Mature stonefly nymphs were collected from different habitats and transported to the laboratory. They were reared in aquariums at the laboratory until emergence and subsequently identified. Seven species in 6 genera and 3 families, including both nymphs and their adults, are reported in the thesis. They are Cryptoperla formosana（Okamoto）of the family of Peltoperlidae; Cerconychia brunnea Klapalek of Styloperlidae; Paragnetina planidorsa （Klapalek）、Agnetina aequalis （Banks）、 Kamimuria formosana （Klapalek）、Neoperla cavaleriei （Navas）and Neoperla formosana Okamoto of Perlidae. Among them 5 species with their nymphs are described for the first time. Keys to nymphs and adults of species are provided, and the distribution of Plecoptera in the water shed of Nan-Shih stream are discussed.

Research on the Ecotourism to the Tourists’ Enviromental Attitudes ----The Da Sheue Foreset Recreation Area as an illustrative Example Abstract Ecotourism becomes the hottest issue of the world. It also is the business the government tries aggressively to develop. However, the blossom of the ecotourism brings up serious impact. Firstly, we use the researches of the professors to discuss the connotation of the ecotourism. Secondly, using researches to analyze the changing of the tourists’ environmental attitudes and the tourism behaviors. Furthermore, we discuss the interaction between the tourists’ environmental attitudes and the tourism behaviors through the environmental education. Now we take use of the social background, whether taking the educational courses and taking part in the ecology curriculum to figure out the differences among the tourism attitudes, environmental education and tourism behaviors. The outcome of the research indicates that, the ecotourism area would back to the nature and have few constructions. On one side it can make the tourists admire the view of the nature; on the other side it can promote the tourists’ attitudes and tourism behaviors. Moreover, the environmental education also makes the human beings have a closer relationship with the nature; appreciate the beauty and the value of the nature. Meanwhile, the ecotourism truly is popular in the public. Therefore, we can take good use of the mountain and water to create a happy family, let the whole family have time traveling around and make the public recognize the inappropriate behaviors. We found that the higher education rank, the easier acceptable of the environmental education. We also realized that explanation of education is the key to the success of the ecotourism. The persons who have taken the education of ecology and participated the curriculum of the ecology are highly willing to obey the regulations. For the sake of not destroying the ecology, we have to open in turns to control the numbers of the tourists properly in order to rest the plants.

For reveal the variation and distribution of copepod communities in the baymental environment. In present study, we sampled mesozooplankton in Shen-Aou Bay and Fan-Zi-Auo Bay at northeastern Taiwan to investigate seasonal variations of copepod communities from October 2007 to January 2009 during 6 research cruises. Copepod samples were collected by surface tows (0-5m), using a standard North Pacific zooplankton (NORPAC) net (with a mouth diameter of 45 cm and a mesh size of 330 μm). Throughout all sampling campaigns, 78 copepod species belonging to 34 genera, 20 families, and 4 orders were identified in present study. Among them, the species which with relative abundce over 2% were: Temora turbinata, Paracalanus parvus, Canthocalanus pauper, Calanus sinicus, Acrocalanus gracilis, Oncaea minuta, Corycaeus(Farranula) gibbula and Subeucalanus subcrassus. The most common copepod species in the present study were: Paracalanus parvus, Acrocalanus gracilis, Temora turbinata, Canthocalanus pauper, Oncaea minuta and Subeucalanus subcrassus (Occurrence rate over 80%), fifteen copepod species were exclusively identified from a single sample. Cluster analysis demonstrated that copepod communities of northeastern Taiwan varied with seasonally. The results of Two-way ANOVA (seasons and stations sampled) showed that without significant difference (p > 0.05) for species number, total copepod abundance, indices of richness, richness and diversity. The results of One-way ANOVA showed that among 78 species, abundance of 12 species with the signicifant difference between sampling seasons. The abundances of seven copepod species (Acrocalanus monachus, Temora discaudata, Macrosetella gracilis, Corycaeus(Corycaeus) speciosus, Corycaeus(F.) concinna, Oncaea media and Copilia mirabilis) showed a significantly positive correlation with seawater temperature. Calanus sinicus showed a significant negative correlation with seawater temperature (r= -0.434, p=0.008) and became abundant during the cold water intrusion of the China coastal Current in northeastern Taiwan. Our results provide the useful information on zooplankton community structure and seasonal succession in the baymental environment at northeastern Taiwan.

Since “Internationalization" are the essential marketing strategy of companies. This study mainly discussed all related about the planning and analysis of international event marketing. The conclusions of the research are using the Porter''s five forces module and value-chain theory to analyze the industrial competitive situation, the basic value activity and the key success factor of Ta Shee Golf & Country Club. Then knows the correlation with international event marketing and the differentiae that compared with the thirty-three major golf courses in Taiwan. The detailed analyses were made by methods of secondary data analysis, questionnaire and case study analysis to finalize the following implements. The primary tool of data analysis is adopted the SPSS system. The analytical manners are including: the factor analysis, correlation analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. First, extracts the factor from industrial five forces module, value-chain and international marketing by the method of principal components factor analysis and max variance orthogonal rotation. Second, uses the Pearson''s correlation coefficient to explore the relation of the competitive strategy by five forces module and the competitive advantage by value-chain. Then explores the relation of the competitive strategy by five forces module and the international event marketing, the relation of the competitive advantage by value-chain and the international event marketing. On the basis of the assessment of international event marketing could be attained by the competitive strategy combination with the competitive advantage. Third, analyzes the five forces module and value-chain with the method of mean analysis. The results of five forces analysis on the Ta Shee Golf & Country Club are as follows: (1) The level of entrance barriers are very high; (2) Suppliers have the medium bargaining powers; (3) Buyers'' bargaining powers arc very intense; (4) The competitions within the industry are fierce; (5) The threats of substitutes are large. The results of the industrial competitors are as follows: (1) The level of entrance barriers are very high; (2) The suppliers have the medium bargaining powers; (3) Buyers'' bargaining powers are medium; (4) The competition within the industry are fierce; (5) The threats of substitutes are large. The above shown that the Ta Shee Golf & Country Club and the industrial competitors have the similar cognitions. Regarding the primary marketing process of golf management, the results from the Ta Shee Golf & Country Club are as follows: (1) The inner logistics are perfect; (2) The production operations are adapted to the needs of customers; (3) The outer logistics are provided at the right time and within limits for the needs of the customers; (4) The services are looking after both sides of marketing and the needs of customers; (5) There are good performances on corporate basic activities, human resources and research & developments; (6) Only on the part of purchase need to be improved. For industrial competitors, there is a good appearance on the production operations, and having the medium cognitions on the others. To compare with the Ta Shee Golf & Country Club and industrial competitors, those are same points on the production operations and the purchases, but for the other items, the Ta Shee Golf & Country Club is most aggressive than all industrial competitors. Base on the investigation, the key success factors of golf industry are: (1) the good corporate managing module; (2) provide perfect products or services; (3) foreseeable operation strategy; (4) huge customers; (5) good enterprise image and reputation; (6) he servers with uniform quality; (7) the research & development teams with rich and complete industry experiences. In brief, to combine the planning of competitive strategy, the display of competitive advantages and the key success factors, we could understand clearly that the international event marketing be related with these three items. They are not only to support the development of international event marketing but also bring more utility for companies.

As the number of leisure farms grows, they are adopting diversified marketing model and attempt to attract tourists. There are many leisure farms allow the idol drama to take footages on the farm. Such information are even available from the official website of the agricultural authority. Idol dramas attract many viewers, and hopefully they could be attracted to visit the leisure farms. Whether this kind of activities meant a long-term recreational attraction, is worthy to be explored. This research screened popular idol dramas that were ended the broadcasting for at last more than 3 years and finds the Flying Cow Ranch and Ta Shee Blooming Oasis as the targeted leisure farms. The research designed and conducted survey on fans group of the idol drama, then statistical analysis were done on the collected data. The results were as following: 1. Respondents reported that they were attracted by the beautiful scene on the leisure farm and place high values to the farm’s landscape. 2. Attractiveness of the idol drama has a positive impact even in the long term on leisure farms. 3. Different demographic variables affected the viewers’ watching habits and the recreational attractiveness of the leisure farms. 4. The watching habit of the idol drama could affect attractiveness of the leisure farm.

The work health and safety sector and the hygiene and food safety sector have recently experienced a strong growth and a high increase of competitiveness. As the demand grows, both at the legal and customer levels, service providers in this area face the challenge of being able to strategically evolve and align their employees behavior with its strategy, in order to improve its performance and stand out among the competitors, achieving sustained growth. Therefore, the need arises to create an integrated management control model that enables each company to make decisions in a timely manner, assignment of authority and employees’ empowerment. The general aims of this project, applied to the department of Servicontrol Lda., which provides services of work health and safety and hygiene and food safety are: the design of a Balanced Scorecard that supports the definition, implementation and strategic evaluation; the creation of an employee performance assessment model, either through individual and shared goals or through the skills proof; and implementation of a clear, attractive and balanced incentive system with defined performance metrics.
