The General Synod of the Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) met in virtual form on 10 and 11 June 2021. In his charge to Synod, the Most Rev'd Dr Mark Strange, Primus, encouraged Synod members not to place their light under a bushel. The COVID-19 pandemic had denied people opportunities normally available to them to make their light shine and, at times, the bushel had felt very close. He reminded Synod members that in the valley of the shadow of death one need fear no evil. Background: Salivary mucocele results from the accumulation of saliva secondary to salivary gland or duct injury. Its etiology remains poorly understood, with limited reports on the parotid gland. Some of the causes include duct rupture due to trauma, bite wounds, or obstructions due to mineralized calculi (sialoliths) or foreign bodies. The complete excision of the gland-duct complex is currently the most indicated treatment. Thus, this study aimed to report the diagnosis and treatment of a dog with salivary mucocele caused by a parotid duct rupture due to bahiagrass (Paspalum notatum) obstru

Abstract:
The so-called mausoleum of Galla Placidia was initially an annex chapel of a cross-shaped basilica with aisleless arms, which is known under the name of S. Croce (the Holy Cross). This church was founded between 425 and 450, by Galla Placidia, the daughter of emperor Theodosius I (Theodosius the Great). Nowadays, only the ruins of the S. Croce basilica are preserved. The annex chapel was an oratory dedicated to S. Lorenzo Fomoso. However, it seems that it was intended to host the tomb of Galla Placidia. This never happened because the empress died in Rome and she was buried there. The mausoleu

IntroductionThis article suggests extensions to the place of ‘national collections’ of Australia’s migration histories, and considers the role of regional libraries and museums in collecting, preserving, and making accessible the history of migration. The article describes a recent collaboration between the Bonegilla Migrant Experience site, the Albury LibraryMuseum and the regionally-based Charles Sturt University (CSU) to develop a virtual, three-dimensional tour of Bonegilla, a former migrant arrival centre. At last year’s Tour de France—the three-week cycling race—the winner of one stage was disqualified for allegedly obstructing a competitor. In newspapers and on social media, cycling fans immediately started a heated debate about the decision and about the actual course of events. They uploaded photographs and videos, which they had often edited and augmented with graphics to support their interpretation of the situation or to direct attention to some neglected detail (Simpson; "Tour de France").Due to their competitive character and their audience’s partisanship, modern media sports continuous
