Abstract:
Abstract This research explores the phenomenon of trust issue in a romantic relationship through the analysis of song lyrics in the album Garh Tany performed by Sherine Abdel Wahab. The purpose of this research is to represent the trust issue phenomenon contained in the lyrics of Sherine's song on the album Garh Tany. The data was collected through the analysis of lyric text from three songs contained in the Garh Tany album, namely Shabri Aleel, Eh eh, and Garh Tany, then analyzed using the content analysis method to identify themes, patterns, and meanings. The results of this reseach show that the phenomenon of trust issues contained in the three song lyrics describes trust issues in a relationship caused by a bad experience experienced by one of the partners, some of the bad experiences found include betrayal, disappointment, abandonment, reflection and acceptance. Betrayal often appears as a major theme, where the partner feels betrayed and it is difficult to trust again. Disappointment is also often found because it reflects feelings of being hurt due to unfulfilled expectations. Some of the bad experiences experienced by one of the couples above have their own impacts, namely, experiencing overthingking, where the individual constantly thinks about the bad events or experiences he experiences; disturbances in social relationships, where individuals have difficulty interacting with others; and depression as a heavy emotional impact due to loss of trust.

Abstract:
Aim. To investigate the epizootic state of fi sheries in Ukraine; to study the biological specifi cities of viral and bacterial isolates of fi sh in freshwater aquaculture. Methods. The epizootic state of fi sheries was defi ned ac- cording to the surveillance plan for fi sheries, virological (biosampling of sensitive fi sh species, virus isolation on sensitive passaged cell cultures), serological (enzyme immunoassay, virus neutralization test using sensitive passaged cell cultures) and molecular-biological (reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction − RTPCR) methods of investigation were used. The pathogenicity of the isolated bacteria was studied in the biosample. The identifi cation was performed using Bergey’s Manual. The express-identifi cation of bacteria was performed using the standardized test-system API 20E Bio Merieux (France). Results. The IPNV isolates of rainbow trout were fi rst isolated in the fi sheries of different forms of ownership in the western regions of Ukraine (Volyn, L’viv, Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi regions). It was demonstrated that different age groups of carp are infested with the virus in the fi sheries of L’viv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Odesa regions which testifi es to a wide spread of the virus in Ukraine. Out of fi sh infectious diseases the red spot-like disease and the swim bladder infl ammation of carp, the diseases of young trout and sturgeon were detected in the investigated fi sheries of Ukraine. Conclusions. The epizootic data were used to estimate the condition of the fi sheries in Ukraine in terms of fi sh infectious diseases. An infectious pancreatic necrosis virus, new for Ukraine, was revealed. It was found to affect rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss , Walbaum, 1792) and the spread of SVCV in carp fi sheries was demonstrated. As for bacterial fi sh diseases, the decrease in the epizootic situation was described along with considerable extension of the range of species of bacterial pathogens of fi sh. Annual systematic monitoring and measures of preventing the introduction of the agents of infectious diseases are the guarantee of protection of the specialized fi sheries of Ukraine.

Abstract:
Immigration enforcement and policy making has increasingly devolved to the local level in the United States. American sheriffs present a unique opportunity to evaluate decisions made about immigration policies in the local context. In dealing with immigration concerns in their counties, sheriffs act both within the confines of federal and state mandates and as local policymakers. However, little research comprehensively assesses the role sheriffs play in immigration policy making. Using data from an original, national survey of more than five hundred elected sheriffs in the United States, we provide a broad account of sheriffs’ roles in immigration enforcement and policy making. Our research demonstrates that sheriffs’ ideology and personal characteristics shape their personal attitudes about immigrants. In turn, these attitudes play a key role in influencing local enforcement decisions. Sheriffs’ immigration attitudes relate strongest to checks of the immigration status of witnesses and victims and those stopped for traffic violations or arrested for non-violent crimes. Our results demonstrate the important role of the sheriff in understanding local variation in immigration policy and the connection between the personal preferences of representatives and policy making that can emerge across policy environments and levels of government.

Abstract:
In the digital age, music knows no geographical boundaries. Songs from various countries, including Arabic, can easily reach listeners around the world. An example is the songs of Sherine Abdel Wahab, a famous Egyptian singer whose works have gone viral on social media platforms, especially among TikTok users in Indonesia. This is because the millennial generation is now inclined to things that are going viral on social media, especially TikTok. For speakers of languages other than Arabic, especially Indonesian speakers, hearing Arabic songs is still an obstacle, especially enjoying the full meaning of these songs. Therefore, communicative translation of Arabic song lyrics is important to bridge the language and cultural differences. This study aims to find out the application of communicative methods and strategies used in translating the song "Shabry Aleel" popularized by Sherine Abdel Wahab. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, focusing on the research of translating the song Shabry Aleel popularized by Sherine Abdel Wahab as the object of research. After translating the object of the data, academic accountability of the results of the translation is carried out by describing the methods and strategies used. The communicative method research on the translation of Shabry Aleel's song popularized by Sherine Abdel Wahab is very suitable, because in addition to paying attention to communicative principles, the resulting translation is also very easy to understand by the target readers. In addition to using the communicative method, the strategies used in this research include (taqdim and ta'khir) on the subject and predicate patterns of the target language, removing (hadzf) and replacing (tabdil) on the meaning of the translated words so that the results are easier to understand.

Abstract:
Criminal justice research often focuses exclusively on municipal police departments. Sheriffs’ departments are largely ignored in this research despite this population’s reach and role. There are nearly 3,000 sheriffs’ offices around the United States and they often serve as the only law enforcement body in rural areas. This study sought to address the scarcity of this research and focused on Texas sheriffs’ views regarding firearm regulations and the causes of mass shootings. An 18-question instrument created in consult with the Texas Narcotic Officers Association was sent to each sheriff in the 254 counties of Texas to assess their perceptions regarding solutions to mass shootings, disqualification criteria for gun ownership, and civilian access to certain types of firearms and ammunition. Responding sheriffs, as a whole, were reluctant to limit access to guns and ammunition as a general matter, but strongly agreed that certain discrete populations should have limited or no access to firearms. Policy implications are discussed.

Abstract:
Purpose Muzafer and Carolyn Wood Sherif are among the founders of social psychology. Their theoretical and empirical findings made important contributions to the management literature. This paper aims to attempt to underline these contributions and highlights the Sherifs’ interdisciplinary work and their impact on management research specifically. Design/methodology/approach Using a citation content analysis, the influence of the Sherifs on management research is detailed by examining how their work has contributed to research published in top management journals. Findings The Sherifs’ work has influenced numerous research streams related to organisational groups, social norms, assimilation contrast theory and a combination of various other topics. Additionally, these works helped originate team and workgroup research in organisation theory. Originality/value This is the first manuscript of its type to examine the influence of the Sherifs on management research. Their story is a testament to the impact that social psychology researchers have had in developing modern thought about organisational issues. This work also addresses potential areas for future research building on the Sherifs’ work.

Abstract:
On behalf of the company Krabat AS a product development case concerning developing an accessory for making their wheelchair, Krabat Sheriff, more usable in terrain has been done. The purpose has been to produce a material for further developing of a detachable accessory made for the Sheriff. The goal has been to present a proposal of solutions obtained by market analysis, stakeholder analysis and theoretical studies as well as showing the possible solutions, showing their optimal configurations and proposing a final concept. The work has been following Krabat AS product development process, P-08, which included the following phases: idea, market research, specifications of requirement, concept, product specifications, details and review. In the idea phase the problem, cause and goal was formulated. In the market research phase a market analysis as well as a stakeholder analysis was done in order to get an idea of what the customer and the market wanted in the product. The specification of requirements consisted of the demands and requests of the primary stakeholders. It worked like a checklist which every concept had to pass to work as a real product. In the conceptual phase every concept was drawn and evaluated. By help of a decision making matrix two concepts was deemed the best. These two concepts where continued working on finally making it one continuing on to the product specification phase. In the product specification the final concept, Krabat Revolver, was introduced and explained in detail. In the detail phase the way of production, configuration of parts and choice of material was documented. In the last phase the project was reviewed by help of a FMEA-analysis which had been worked on the entire project. In conclusion the project is a success since it both has been able to accomplish the purpose and the goal; documenting a material for a product that clears the main issue. It also exist a documented interest for the product by the stakeholders which make the product newsworthy.

Minton, Gregory Alan. "Critical-Incident Response: A Study of Training, Management, and Mitigation in North Carolina Sheriffs' Offices." Digital Commons @ East Tennessee State University, 2010. https://dc.etsu.edu/etd/1678.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of training each sheriff's office requires in North Carolina and if that training includes multiagency exercises designed to mitigate a critical-incident response and identify any concerns from those training events. The study also compared departmental strength (number of sworn officers per agency) with county populations and geographic area of the state the agency is located in with the number of hours required annually by each agency. Finally, each agency was asked if it had participated in a multiagency exercise and a multiagency incident and to identify any issues that occurred within that training or response. This research indicated that over half of the sheriffs' offices had completed mandated training beyond what North Carolina requires. Only slight differences between regions of the state (mountains, piedmont, or coastal plain) were detected as well as slight differences within the county populations. However, it was discovered that the size of a sheriff's office did have significance; larger sheriff's offices often required more training than smaller offices. Sheriff's offices that had experienced multiagency exercises and multiagency incidents were more likely to exceed the North Carolina minimum training requirements as well. Finally, respondents who had participated in either a multiagency exercise or a multiagency incident indicated common problems and concerns within those responses. The reoccurring problems and concerns were; communications, training, and organization or combinations of the three.
