A shipyard is an industry engaged in the construction or repair of ships. A shipyard's ability to complete its production depends on the supply chain. Its suppliers supply all the equipment and materials needed for shipbuilding and maintenance. The shipbuilding sector's supply chain's performance level must be measured to determine how well the existing process flow works. The research was conducted at the PT Dock and a shipyard company in Maluku, Indonesia. The measurement integrates the SCOR and AHP models to determine the existing supply chain performance. Flux-copper backing process welding is a high-speed, one-sided automatic welding process that is a type of submerged arc welding. Although it has been widely applied for the joining of flat skin plates in shipbuilding, a couple of problems with this process still exist: longitudinal cracks occur in the vicinity of the end point, and transverse cracks occur on the back surface. The data in this study were collected in the production site of Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Company Ltd, Kure Shipyard. The causes of failures were examined, and countermeasures were studied. Concerning the long

This requires all units to be complete and accurately assembled in order to eliminate costly rework during and after erection. To achieve this high degree of unit accuracy, the author's company has undertaken a pilot dimensional control program that has set the guidelines for systematically monitoring each stage of the production process prior to erection.
