Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to determine the violation types of cooperative principle in the utterance between characters in the dialogue of Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenzbo 20th Series Comic Vol.1. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research are in the form of utterances between characters in the dialogue of Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo 20th Series Comic Vol.1. The method used to collect the data is observation method which refers to the tapping and note-taking techniques. The method used to analyze the data is pragmatic analysis method with heuristic technique. The result showed that there were four violation types of cooperative principle including: maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance or relation and maxim of manner in the Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo 20th Series Comic Vol.1. The most frequently flouted maxim in the utterance between characters in the dialogue of Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo 20th Series Comic Vol.1 was maxim of quality. This indicates that the characters in the Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo 20th Series Comic Vol.1 often say something that is still doubtful. On the other hand, related to the three violations of maxims, it was found that the same number of violations occurred between maxim of quality, maxim of relation and maxim of manner.

Abstract:
The shonen hero in One Piece, a popular fantasy battle manga for boys, is described as a complete altruist although he longs to be the King of Pirates, that is, the top of ‘others’ in the social mainstream. Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, called the ‘Straw Hat Pirates’, seem to be derived from traditional Japanese heroes in period films or from the manly virtue called otoko-date in the Edo period: the outsiders who carry out ‘poetic justice’ by assisting the weak and resisting the strong, even at risk to their own lives. To be more powerful than those whose right and status is determined by birth and nature in this fictional world, others, who are usually adventurers, have a special opportunity to find and eat ‘Devil Fruit’ and thus obtain superhuman power and become others within others. Moreover, there are other means whereby Luffy may become a genuine hero, not by luck but through effort: King's Ambition, and Conqueror's Power. The latter can be attained by genius only, by one person in a million. In this article, the gifted shonen hero with the superhuman power of One Piece is analysed in terms of otherness and altruism.

Abstract:
Shonen Matsumura (1872–1960), the founder of entomology in Japan, is no doubt among the most influential and prolific entomologists. He produced a series of works, illustrated lists of the insects and described as many as 1200 new species. Unfortunately, most of the types he named and collected from Taiwan were brought to Japan in the late 1940s, and were hard to access by foreign students until relatively recently.Matsumura's type depositions contain brief descriptions and, sometimes, only female specimens were available for his types. This prevented sound revisionary work in Taiwan. In addition, Matsumura did not designate holotypes in his early works but simply indicated how many specimens he had.

Abstract:
Shonen Matsumura (1872–1960) Japanese entomologist described four species of jewel bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Scutelleridae) from Taiwan in 1913. One of them has already been recognized as synonym whilst the identity of three species remained unknown so far. Based on the type material deposited at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, Matsumura’s species are documented and their identities are clarified. The following new synonymies are proposed: Chrysocoris (Fitha) fascialis (A. White, 1842) = Lamprocoris giranensis Matsumura, 1913, syn. n.; Lamprocoris (Lamprocoris) lateralis (Guérin-Méneville, 1838) = Chrysophara formosana Matsumura, 1913, syn. n.; Poecilocoris druraei (Linnaeus, 1771) = Poecilocoris watanabei Matsumura, 1913, syn. n. Lectotype is designated for Chrysophara formosana. Lamprocoris lateralis is recorded for the first time from Laos and Vietnam.

Abstract:
This qualitative research aims to describe activity of students mathematical combinatorial thinking in constructing of the opportunity concept. The subject of the study is two students of Junior High School who had the ability in constructing concept. Data collection was obtained at the time of learning carried out based on learning plan as research instruments. The results showed a combinatorial thinking activity in constructing concepts. Counting processes are showen by students identifying dice and coins, solving theoritical opportunities problems with tables or diagrams, and solving empirical opportunities problems. Formulas/exspressions are showen by students being able to construct sampel points and sample space, construct theoritical opportunities concept, and make mathematical formulas of opportunities. Set of outcomes is showen by students being able to find the results of solving theoritical opportunity problems of one/or more dice and coins as well as the results of solving empirically opportunity problems. Keywords: combinatorial thinking, constructing concept, opportunity
