Notre travail a consisté à étudier 2 gènes impliqués dans la réversion tumorale et régulés par P53.Nous avons identifié dans le promoteur du gène siah-1b une séquence sur laquelle P53 se lie in vitro et in vivo. De plus, nous avons montré la fonctionnalité de cet élément de réponse suite à l'induction de P53.
La particularité de ce site, dont la structure diffère fortement du consensus de liaison de P53 à l'ADN, ouvre de nouvelles perspectives dans l'analyse des mécanismes régulés par P53.
L'étude de la protéine TSAP6 murine a permis de caractériser son expression au niveau tissulaire et intracellulaire. La fonction de TSAP6 n'étant pas bien connue, nous avons entrepris de l'analyser dans des modèles animaux portant un gène tsap6 muté ou invalidé.
La mutation du gène tsap6 Gln-395-Lys induit l'apparition d'une microcytose et d'un emphysème pulmonaire chez la souris. La caractérisation des mécanismes conduisant à ces phénotypes est en cours et nous permettra de mieux comprendre la fonction de TSAP6.

Les Glioblastomes représentent les tumeurs cérébrales primaires les plus fréquentes chez l'adulte. Nous avons mis en évidence le rôle du récepteur PPARß/delta dans le caractère tumoral des glioblastomes. Nous avons montré que l'activation de ce récepteur stimule la prolifération et la migration des cellules de glioblastome T98G. Nous avons également montré que l'activation de PPARß/delta induit l'expression du gène Siah-1L et que la surexpression de ce gène stimule la prolifération et la migration cellulaire des glioblastomes. Nous avons ensuite étudié la régulation du gène Siah-1L humain et montré que son expression est induite par PPARß/delta. Le clonage du promoteur de ce gène et l'étude de sa régulation a permis de montrer que son induction par PPARß/delta est médiée par un élément de réponse situé au niveau du promoteurGlioblastoma represent the most frequent primary brain tumor in adults. We highlighted the role of PPARß/delta in glioblastoma tumorigenesis. We have shown that activation of this receptor stimulates proliferation and migration of glioblastoma cells T98G. We also showed that activation of PPARß/delta induces the expression of Siah-1L gene and that overexpression of Siah-1L stimulates cell proliferation and migration of glioblastoma cells. We also studied the regulation of Siah-1L gene and showed that its expression is induced by PPARß/delta. Cloning of Siah-1L gene promoter sequence and the study of its regulation showed that the induction of the expression of Siah-1L by PPARß/delta is mediated by a response element located at the promoter sequence

Le gene sina (seven in absentia) de la drosophile est necessaire pour la specification cellulaire du photorecepteur r7 pendant le developpement oculaire. Siah-1, un des homologues murins de sina, est active dans un modele d'apoptose induite par p53. Son homologue humain, siah-1, code pour une proteine de 282 acides amines avec un domaine en doigt de zinc, localise sur le chromosome 16q12-q13. Nous demontrons que siah-1 est active au cours de la mort cellulaire programmee physiologique dans l'epithelium intestinal. Des cellules humaines selectionnees pour la suppression de leur phenotype tumoral presentent un niveau eleve d'arn messager de siah-1. Dans ces modeles on observe le meme type d'activation de l'expression du gene p21 w a f - 1. La transfection de la lignee cellulaire u937 par p21 w a f - 1 active l'expression de siah-1, rb1 et rb2, associee a des modifications de la l'organisation nucleaire en interphase. Des changements dans la distribution des sites exposes a la digestion par la dnase i et le repositionnement des chromosomes sont observes. Dans les modeles etudies, l'activation de siah-1 s'accompagne d'une perte ou d'une forte reduction du potentiel tumorigene des cellules chez la souris scid/scid. La surexpression du gene siah-1 dans des cellules mcf-7, entraine des alterations profondes de la croissance cellulaire dues a des anomalies majeures de la mitose et associes a l'induction de p21 w a f - 1 et a une augmentation du pourcentage de cellules apoptotiques. La proteine siah-1 est redistribuee dans la matrice nucleaire. Des cellules multinucleees sont observees, ainsi que des defauts dans la formation du fuseau mitotique, dans la separation des noyaux filles et durant la cytokinese. Ces resultats sont en

Social Impact Assessment (SIA) identifies the intended and unintended impacts that proposed projects or developments are likely to have on a community or individuals and suggest mitigation measures to prevent these impacts and enhance the positive impacts. The main aim of this dissertation is to explore the significance and the status of SIA in a South African context. EIA is currently in its third era of mandatory practice and with an increasing number of SIAs, it is essential that the practice of SIA should be investigated.
The aim of this dissertation was firstly reached by exploring the perspectives of SIA practitioners in South Africa through a questionnaire. The practitioners’ perspectives showed that despite distinct weaknesses in the practice of SIA, i.e. the lack of a fixed set of guidelines and a shortage of SIA skill in the practitioner community, SIA practice has improved since 1997 with the promulgation of ECA, although there is still room for improvement. Secondly a quality review was conducted on a sample of SIARs in South Africa using an adapted review package. The results revealed relatively weak report quality compared to EIA report quality, but with an improvement, in report quality since 1997. The quality review findings appear to confirm the perspectives of the practitioners regarding the state of SIA practice in South Africa. Despite the weaknesses in the SIA process, it appears that the SIA practitioner community is driven by best practice considerations, and that SIA practice is in line with international trends.
It appears therefore that despite the observed weaknesses, SIA practice in South Africa is relatively healthy. It is recommended that instead of seeking to strengthen SIA practice by means of regulation and guidelines, SIA practitioners should rather ensure that SIA delivers what it is intended to deliver by ongoing pursuance of best practice, and by improved training and skills development.Thesis (MSc (Geography and Environmental Studies))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2013

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível SuperiorEsta dissertação apresenta um aperfeiçoamento para o Sistema de Imagens Tridimensional Híbrido (SITH) que é utilizado para obtenção de uma superfície tridimensional do relevo de uma determinada região a partir de dois aerofotogramas consecutivos da mesma. A fotogrametria é a ciência e tecnologia utilizada para obter informações confiáveis a partir de imagens adquiridas por sensores. O aperfeiçoamento do SITH consistirá na automatização da obtenção dos pontos através da técnica de Transformada de Características Invariantes a Escala (SIFT - Scale Invariant Feature Transform) dos pares de imagens estereoscópicas obtidos por câmeras aéreas métricas, e na utilização de técnicas de interpolação por splines cúbicos para suavização das superfícies tridimensionais obtidas pelo mesmo, proporcionando uma visualização mais clara dos detalhes da área estudada e auxiliando em prevenções contra deslizamentos em locais de risco a partir de um planejamento urbano adequado. Os resultados computacionais mostram que a incorporação destes métodos ao programa SITH apresentaram bons resultados.
This dissertation presents an improvement of the Three-Dimensional Hybrid Imaging System (SITH) that is used to obtain a three dimensional surface relief of a particular region from the same two consecutive air frames it. Photogrammetry is the science and technology used to obtain reliable information from images acquired by sensors. Improving the automation of the SITH will consist of points obtained using the technique of Invariant Feature Transform Scale (SIFT - Scale Invariant Feature Transform) pair of stereoscopic images obtained by aerial metric cameras, and the use of means of cubic spline interpolation for smooth surfaces produced by the same three-dimensional, providing a clearer view of the details of the study area and aiding in effective prevention against landslides in hazardous locations from an urban planning appropriate. The computational results show that the incorporation of these methods to the program SITH had good results.

El ser humano a lo largo de su historia ha comprobado la importancia del trabajo colectivo al obtener mejores resultados que de manera individual, con lo que se denomina acción colectiva, para lograrla son indispensables dos fases: la primera es la acción colectiva estructural y después la acción colectiva funcional. Sus ventajas se pueden comprobar en casos internacionales y nacionales en la búsqueda de sellos de calidad de productos locales; claro ejemplo son los productores de chorizos
a nivel internacional que han obtenido una DOP o IGP. En el caso especifico de los
chorizos rojo y verde del Valle de Toluca son Productos con Identidad Territorial
que no cuentan con algún sello de calidad y como consecuencia corren el riesgo
de volverse productos genéricos, por la competencia con la producción industrial y
por la producción artesanal que ha disminuido sus estándares de calidad. Ante esto,
un grupo de estudiante interesados en preservar la tradición del chorizo del Valle
de Toluca, implementaron un proyecto para lograr su valorización, para lo cual fue
necesario abordar la temática desde diversos aspectos, uno de ellos fue la acción
colectiva. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue implementar la acción colectiva entre
los productores de chorizo con el fin de sentar las bases para la creación de un
sello de calidad. El trabajó constó de dos partes, una revisión bibliográfica sobre la
legislación mexicana en torno a asociaciones y otra fue el trabajo participativo con
productores, donde se utilizaron estrategias de la metodología para la activación de
Sistemas Agroalimentarios Localizados, que motivaron la cooperación de los actores
en el proyecto. Las relaciones entre los productores eran informales y al conocer el
proyecto de ProChorizo, se identificaron e interesaron en crear una asociación. Se
analizaron las diversas opciones, siendo las figuras jurídicas más idóneas la Sociedad
Civil, Sociedad Cooperativa, Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada Microindustrial
y Asociación Civil; se analizaron de manera conjunta las ventajas y desventajas
de cada una de ellas y la Asociación Civil fue la seleccionada por los productores,

se realizaron los trámites pertinentes y, se procedió a su respectivo registro ante
un Notario Público con el nombre y las características siguientes: Asociación de
Productores de Chorizo Artesanal del Valle de Toluca A. C. Cuyo objeto es preservar
y promover tanto el oficio como el producto; de igual forma se establecieron los
estatutos donde se enmarca la estructura interna, tipos de socios, reglamento,
condiciones de afiliación, etc. No obstante, para llegar hasta este resultado surgieron
diferentes conflictos como la falta de interés y abandono del proyecto por una parte
considerable de productores. Finalmente se puede concluir que la implementación
de la asociación de productores de chorizo permite establecer las bases hacia una
acción colectiva funcional y con ello lograr la activación del Sistema Agroalimentario
Localizado.

Cette thèse vise à étudier le regard porté sur le siam et le roi chulalongkorn (rama v) dans le discours journalistique de trois quotidiens nationaux français (le petit journal, le petit parisien et le matin), publiés pendant une période marquée par le conflit franco-siamois en 1893 et les visites d’état du roi siamois en 1897 et 1907. Le discours médiatique de la presse écrite est d’abord appréhendé, en fonction de sa finalité communicative, à travers la foncière hétérogénéité sémiolinguistique des dispositifs péritextuels (du titre aux illustrations). Nous posons comme hypothèse qu’il se laisse considérer comme un instrument à la fois d’information et de propagande, cherchant à transmettre des avis sur Les ÉvÉnements socio-politiques et culturels pour faire accepter au lectORAT un point de vue conforme aux prises de position habituelles du journal. C’est pourquoi l’étude des formes narrative, descriptive, explicative ou argumentative révèle non seulement les images du Siam et de son roi à travers divers types de séquences textuelles, mais aussi le parti pris idéologique des rédacteurs quant aux relations diplomatiques entre les deux pays. La structuration des idées, aux niveaux discursif et interdiscursif, est ensuite déterminée en rapport avec les propriétés stylistico-rhétoriques et la force persuasive du discours de presse. Enfin, le dernier chapitre traite des opÉrations énonciatives relatives aux instances de production et de réception médiatiques – en lien avec le contexte historique et événementiel –, ainsi que du positionnement pragmatique du rédacteur-journaliste et des autres énonciateurs cités (via le discours rapporté)This thesis aimed to examine the representation of siam and king chulalongkorn (king rama v) in the journalistic sppech of three french national daily newspapers (le petit jounral, le petit parisien and le matin), published during a period marked by the frech-siamese conflict in 1893 and the official visits of king rama v to france in 1897 and 1907.the media discourse of the press was apprehended at first, based on its communitive purpose, through semiolinguistic heterogeneousness of peritextual devices (titles and illustrations). the reseacher hypothesised that the media discourse was an instrument of information and propaganda at the same time, trying to make the readers accept a point of view in correspondent with the usual attitude of the newspapers. therefore, the study of the narrative, descriptive, explanatory or argumentative forms revealed not only the images of siam and king rama v through different types of textual sequence, but also the ideological prejudice of the writers redarging the diplomatic relations between the two countries. the structure of the ideas, as discursive and interdiscursive levels, was then determinded in touch with the rhetorical properties and the persuasive strength in press’s discourse. finally, the last chapter discussed of enunciative operations in relation to the media process of production and reception – in connection with the historical and factual context –, as well as of the pragmatic position of the journalist and the quoted other speakers (via direct and indirect speech)

In grenzüberschreitenden Großschutzgebieten ist es erforderlich, auch die Tätigkeit der Schutzgebietsverwaltungen grenzüberschreitend zu koordinieren, um die Kohärenz der Schutzbemühungen sicherzustellen. In der Nationalparkregion Sächsisch-Böhmische Schweiz sammeln die Verantwortlichen auf deutscher und tschechischer Seite Erfahrung in einem gemeinsamen Projekt.

The protein SiaA (Streptococcal iron acquisition) is involved in heme uptake in the bacterium Streptococcus pyogenes. It is difficult to obtain this protein in its fully holo form (completely loaded with heme). To increase the concentration of heme in the growing cell, we added ä-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and ferrous sulfate (FeSO4), precursors of heme, to the growth media. Neither increasing the concentration of heme in vivo, nor growth at lower temperature for longer times, increased the production of holoprotein. The classical method of measuring the concentration of heme in a newly discovered heme protein is cumbersome. We have developed an improved method, which gives a solution that is more stable and has a cleaner spectrum. With further development, this new technique may replace the classical assay. Background information on S. pyogenes, SiaA, ABC transporters, heme biosynthesis, and the pyridine hemochrome assay are described.

Housing needs for the elderly are a function of several processes accompanying aging. In the case of visible, immigrant seniors, additional factors such as ethnic origin and their length of stay in Canada come into play.
Sikhs are a predominant and one of the fastest growing sectors in the Canadian multicultural mosaic. This visible ethnic group has a long history of immigration to British Columbia. Canadian immigration policies have shaped the character (age-sex distribution, occupation, education, geographic location) of the Sikh community over the period of their immigration history. Immigration trends, acculturation of the Canadian-born generation, changing family patterns and the efforts of the community to maintain its culture, religion and language, all shape the housing needs of Sikh seniors in the Canadian context. At present, the demographic profile of Canadian Sikhs reveals that the majority of them are in the 20-50 age group. This profile combined with the influx of new immigrants including aged parents and other relatives, indicates an imminent increase in the number of Sikh elderly in Canada.
This study traces the assimilation of this community in Vancouver, and examines the suitability of housing options available to the mainstream Canadian elderly, for the Sikh elderly. A particular example considered for the purpose of this thesis is the small-scale congregate housing (Abbeyfield) alternative. Information from literature and a clustered survey of elderly Sikhs in Vancouver city suggest the emerging need for an alternative to their traditional housing arrangements. Prospective residents for alternative housing are likely to be elderly, widowed Sikh males. For them, the Abbeyfield option due to its domestic scale and adaptability, has been viewed as a viable solution.Applied Science, Faculty of

The research examines the factors which account for the emergence of ethno-nationalist movements in multi-ethnic and late industrialising societies such as India. The research employs a historical sociological approach to the study of nationalism. Opening with an interrogation of the classic theories of nationalism, the research shows the Eurocentric limitations of these works. By providing an account of the distinctive nature and development of Indian nationalism, it is maintained that the nature, growth, timing and scope of nationalist movements is affected by the level of development and the nature of the state and society in which they emerge. Using the theoretical framework developed here, the theses seeks to explain the nature and timing of breakaway movements in the Indian subcontinent. By providing an account of the social composition of the Sikh secessionist movement, the research shifts the focus on to the peasantry. Consequently, the study interrogates the social and cultural sphere beyond the English-speaking Indian elite. The role of the widely influential media, such as the vernacular press and cassettes, in ethnic movements is also considered. The hypothesis is that the conjunction of three sets of factors explain the rise of Sikh nationalism. The first is economic, notably the transition to commercial agriculture, the second is the revolution in communication, notably the expansion of vernacular press and cassettes and the third is religious, notably the revolutionary Sikh religious ideology with emphasis on martyrdom. The theses traces the three stage evolution of the Sikhs from a religious congregation into an ethnic community in the nineteenth century and from an ethnic community into a nation in the twentieth century.

Neuroblastoma is considered a pediatric malignancy as over 95% of cases are diagnosed in patients less than or equal to 10years old. This cancer is extremely rare in elderly patients. We conducted a Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database analysis in the USA between 1973-2007 that revealed only 35 elderly patients (>60years of age) with neuroblastoma of whom only 2 patients had primary mediastinal neuroblastoma. There is a paucity of treatment and survival outcomes data for the elderly owing to the rarity of neuroblastoma in this population. Currently there are no standard guidelines or protocols for treatment of adult neuroblastoma. We report a rare and challenging case of an 86-year old patient presenting with mediastinal neuroblastoma and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) successfully treated with resection. Herein, we also provide a review of the literature and updated survival data on neuroblastoma based on results of our SEER database review.

This thesis examines Sikh groups in Britain and the implications these have for criteria related to the issue of Sikh identity. Five groups have been selected. They are: the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jama; the Namdharis; the Ravidasls; the Valmikis; and the Sikh Dharma of the Western Hemisphere, which is also frequently associated with the Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization (3HO). The thesis begins with a historical analysis of Sikhism, to discover what it meant to be a Sikh in the days of the founder of the faith, Guru Nanak, and during the time of the successive Gurus. Political and social issues related to the development of Sikhism and emerging Sikh identity are examined also at the outset. Each group has its own unique contribution to make towards highlighting certain indicators and inhibitors of a Sikh identity. Thus, an important part of the present thesis is to examine the beliefs and practices of each group in order to assess its contribution towards a Sikh identity. Each group has unique leaders and founders; it is interesting, therefore, to see what implications the leaders' backgrounds and teachings have on the ethos of the group studied. The present thesis has aimed to highlight the implications of five groups ~ who have in the present and/or in the past have Sikh connections ~ on issues related to Sikh identity. This has been undertaken by continuous reference to four fundamental questions. A thematic approach was adopted for concluding the thesis. Each of the themes arose as significant factors developed throughout the research. The themes illustrate areas that are responsible for the promotion, as well as the hindering, of a uniform Sikh identity among the groups. The five themes that emerged were: (1) The concept of Guru in Sikhism; (2) Leaders and founders; (3) The role of the Rehat Maryada in relation to Sikh identity; (4) Caste and the Panth; (5) The issue of Sikh identity in relation to Punjabi ethnicity. The present research has shown that there are no overall dominant criteria with which to assess the Sikh identity of the Sikh community as a whole. Thus, contrary, to prevalent views about the Sikhs, there are many different "types" of Sikhs present today. I have suggested a federal identity of the Sikh community as a whole. This implies a unity of Sikhs worldwide but independence in the interpretation of Sikhism for the different groups. A federal identity might mean one or two core beliefs such as the acceptance of the Sikh Gurus' teachings and belief in the Sikh Absolute -- but, further than that, it is up to the individual group to express its unique beliefs and practices.

Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento CientÃfico e TecnolÃgicoO caranguejo uÃà à um importante habitante dos manguezais que ocorre em quase todo o litoral brasileiro destacando-se pelo seu considerÃvel valor comercial. A carne à geralmente embalada em envoltÃrio plÃstico e seu beneficiamento à realizado muitas vezes de forma artesanal em locais nÃo licenciados pelo ServiÃo de InspeÃÃo Federal - SIF, sendo preparado sem o mÃnimo controle higiÃnico. No beneficiamento seguido por estes locais, antes do cozimento para retirada da carne, o abdÃmen do caranguejo à torcido com forÃa ou perfurado com objeto cortante, manualmente, para provocar a morte do animal, contribuindo para uma possÃvel contaminaÃÃo no local onde foi traumatizado. Foram utilizadas, durante os seis meses de experimento, duas amostras mensais de 50 caranguejos uÃÃ, adquiridos vivos, comercializados ao ar livre em Fortaleza-CearÃ. Neste trabalho pretende-se beneficiar a carne de caranguejo de acordo com as Boas PrÃticas de FabricaÃÃo (BPF), utilizando dois outros mÃtodos de abate: choque tÃrmico (CT) e choque elÃtrico com o Sistema de ImobilizaÃÃo e abate por choque elÃtrico (SIAC). Esta mÃquina paralisa os animais com a aplicaÃÃo de pulsos elÃtricos com controle de forÃa e tempo. Assim avaliou-se os rendimentos da carne extraÃda com os dois mÃtodos de abate e a perda de peso por cocÃÃo. Os rendimentos mÃdios totais de acordo com mÃtodo de abate, em cada mÃs do experimento, em termos percentuais apresentaram os seguintes valores respectivamente: CT - Peso animal in natura 25,34; 23,28; 24,63; 25,38; 26,29; 26,19 %, CT - Peso animal cozido 27,18; 24,81; 26,32; 26,99; 27,81; 27,74%, SIAC - Peso animal in natura 26,56; 26,01; 26,32; 25,77; 27,54; 26,97% e SIAC - Peso animal cozido 28,35; 27,77; 27,69; 27,19; 28,95; 28,21%. Em relaÃÃo aos rendimentos mÃdios da carne extraÃda dos trÃs segmentos pereÃdos (PP), pinÃas ou quelas (PQ) e cefalotorax (C) separadamente os caranguejos abatidos na mÃquina SIAC apresentaram diferenÃas significativas no rendimento da carne extraÃda do segmento PQ o que pode ter favorecido seu melhor rendimento em relaÃÃo ao abate CT, tambÃm nÃo soltaram as patas durante o cozimento o que ocorreu algumas vezes com abate CT. Jà a mÃdia de perda de peso por cocÃÃo de acordo com os mÃtodos de abate durante o experimento apresentou valores prÃximos, respectivamente CT - 6,68; 6,20; 6,32; 5,94; 5,38; 5,97% e SIAC â 5,26; 5,29; 4,97; 5,22; 4,91; 4,43% nÃo apresentando diferenÃas significativas entre os mÃtodos de abate, fenÃmeno causado provavelmente pela padronizaÃÃo do processo.
The mangrove crab (Ucides cordatus) is an important resource of mangroves which occurs in almost all in the Brazilian coast and it is notable for its considerable commercial value. The meat is usually wrapped in plastic wrap and its treatment is in a handmade way, in places where are not licensed by the Federal Inspection Service (SIF) and without the minimum hygienic control. In these places the animalâs death, done by hand, contributes to a possible contamination of the meat. In this experiment were analized 50 crabs purchased live in the outdoor market in Fortaleza, Ceara which were used during the six months of the experiment, two monthly samples. This work intends to benefit the crab meat according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), using two other methods of processing: heat shock (CT) and electric shock to the system of restraint and killed by electric shock (SIAC). This machine paralyzes the animal with the application of electric pulses with controlled force and time. Thus it was evaluated the yields of meat extracted with both methods of slaughter and loss of weight due to cooking. The total average yield according to the method of slaughter, each month of the experiment, presented in percentage terms the following values respectively: CT - animal fresh weight 25.34, 23.28, 24.63, 25.38, 26, 29, 26.19% CT - 27.18 animal cooked weight, 24.81, 26.32, 26.99, 27.81, 27.74%, SIAC - animal fresh weight 26.56, 26.01 , 26.32, 25.77, 27.54, 26.97% and SIAC - animal cooked weight 28.35, 27.77, 27.69, 27.19, 28.95, 28.21%. In relation to average yields of meat extracted from the three segments pereiopod (PP), forceps or chelae (PQ) and carapace (C) separately crabs killed on the machine SIAC showed significant differences in yield of meat obtained from the segment PQ which may have favored its best performance in relation to slaughter CT, did not lose their legs during cooking which sometimes occurred with CT slaughter. Finally, the mean weight loss by cooking according to the methods of slaughter during the experiment showed similar, respectively CT - 6.68, 6.20, 6.32, 5.94, 5.38, 5.97% and SIAC - 5.26, 5.29, 4.97, 5.22, 4.91, 4.43% without no significant difference between the methods of slaughter, a phenomenon probably caused by the standardization process.

Obtemos a expressão da densidade espectral de uma impureza no modelo de Anderson assimétrico. No regime de Kondo de baixas energias o modelo de Anderson descreve sistemas quânticos com impurezas magnéticas em meios não magnéticos. Para energias características do orbital de impureza simples ou duplamente ocupado iguais a εf e 2εf+U, respectivamente, o modelo é chamado simétrico para 2εf + U = 0 e assimétrico quando 2εf + U ≠ 0. Para o caso simétrico existe uma expressão devido a Frota que descreve ressonância de Kondo na densidade espectral. Todavia, no caso assimétrico a expressão de Frota deixa de ser válida e é necessária uma nova abordagem. Nesta dissertação, a partir de dados numéricos obtidos pelo consagrado método do Grupo de Renormalização Numérico criado por Wilson em 1974 e de tópicos da física de muitos corpos estudamos a assimetria do modelo de Anderson no regime de Kondo e propomos uma expressão mais geral que a de Frota para a densidade espectral da impureza.We propose an analytical expression for the impurity spectral density in the Kondo regime of the spin-degenerate asymmetric Anderson model. The Anderson model describes quantum systems of magnetic impurities in nonmagnetic metals. For characteristic energies of single and double impurity occupations εf and 2εf+U, respectively, the model is particlehole symmetric for 2εf + U = 0 and asymmetrical 2εf + U ≠ 0. In the symmetric case, there is an expression due to Frota that describes the Kondo resonance in the spectral density. However, in the asymmetric case Frota´s expression is not valid, and a new approach is necessary. In this work, starting with numerical data provided by the Numerical Renormalization Group method developed by Wilson in 1974, we study the asymmetric Anderson model in the Kondo regime and propose an expression for the impurity spectral density that is more general than Frota´s.

This work aims to check whether there is a congruence between the purposes of regulations imposed by SIAB and the materiality constitution of places where your information is produced, since our hypothesis is that there is a mismatch between the rules and forms, which means, between reality as it is in places and how the territory is scrutinized by the Family Health Strategy (FHS) as for the performance of their teams as to the generation of their information. For this, the methodology used was the literature, documentary and empirical research, in special about territorialization of the Family Health strategy of Natal-RN. From the empirical mediation was possible to see the gap between full exploration and information produced by the ESF and the reality of the places. Le projet SIAM (système interactif d'automédication multimédia) est destiné au grand public et a pour objectif de rendre opérationnel sur internet un outil multimédia d'automédication, c'est-à-dire une aide à la proposition de médicaments à partir de l'identification d'un symptôme patient. La réalisation d'une telle application comporte les aspects suivants : - représentation des connaissances médicales et pharmacologiques utiles. - conception et réalisation de l'interface utilisateur sur internet. - mise à disposition de l'utilisateur de modules pertinents d'explication médicale. La représentation des connaissances fait appel à des disciplines variées telles que l'intelligence artificielle (IA), les sciences cognitives, ou les bases de connaissances et de données. Nous sommes tenus de traiter à la fois les aspects cliniques et thérapeutiques de cette application. Pour ce faire, notre système réalisé un lien entre les symptômes et les médicaments de façon a pouvoir conseiller l'utilisateur. Pour exploiter correctement sur le web d'internet une base d'environ 1500 médicaments et plusieurs dizaines de symptômes, nous avons choisi comme mode de représentation des connaissances une base de données relationnelle orientée système expert (SE), solution qui nous parait bien adaptée à l'important volume d'information qu'il convient de traiter. Les caractéristiques de ce système destiné au grand public, c'est-à-dire à un ensemble d'utilisateurs peu familiers aussi bien du domaine médical que de la navigation sur internet, induisent de très nombreuses contraintes sur la conception de l'interface d'utilisation. Celle-ci se distingue par une présentation constante sur toutes les pages du site, par la mise en œuvre d'un thesaurus et par un mode binaire de questions / réponses. L'un des intérêts principaux de ce système pour le grand public est de fournir des listes de médicaments disponibles sans ordonnance. Une place de choix est ainsi faite aux médicaments dits OTC (over the counter) ainsi qu'à l'automédication, en collaboration étroite avec les professionnels de la sante. Le système ainsi réalisé, par les avantages multiples qu'il procure à l'utilisateur, démontre l'intérêt que présente le développement sur internet d'outils d'aide à l'utilisation de médicaments.

Nachrichtensendungen für Kinder sind im Rahmen der politischen Sozialisation bedeutsam und sehen sich mit verschiedenen Anforderungen konfrontiert. In der vorliegenden Studie unterziehen die Autorinnen die deutsche Kindernachrichtensendung Logo! und die britische Kindernachrichtensendung Newsround einem inhaltsanalytischen Qualitätsvergleich. Dazu leiten sie Qualitätskriterien aus normativen, inhaltlichen sowie formalen Beurteilungskriterien aus Rezipienten-, Produzenten- sowie aus wissenschaftlicher Sicht ab, die sie für Aussagen über die Aufbereitung und Eignung dieser Kindernachrichtenprogramme heranziehen. Die Ergebnisse dieser tiefgründigen Analyse bieten detaillierten Aufschluss über Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der untersuchten Sendungen und ermöglichen so eine differenzierte Betrachtung der Frage danach, was die Qualität von Kindernachrichtensendungen – auch unter interkulturellen Gesichtspunkten – ausmachtTV News programs for children, within the context of political socialization, are not only hugely important but are also being faced with constant challenges. The following study focuses on Germany’s Logo! and Britain’s Newsround, two of the larger scale television news programs on offer for children. The study offers ananalytical, quality comparison of the two shows. It looks both at the quality criteria of normative, context-related and formal assessment criteria, whilst exploring the perspective of the recipient, the producer and more scientific approaches. The study concludes with an analysis of the format preparation of the two shows and analyses their respective suitability for children. The study offers a profound insight into the similarities and differences between these two broadcasts and considers how we can attempt to measure the quality of children’s news programs

Applikationen är riktad till Sigma-personal som inte är vana vid denna integrationsarkitektur, då den tillhandlahåller användaren med en rad olika hjälp-element för att underlätta konfigurationensprocessen och sänka tröskeln för att kunna skapa och redigera integrationer. Genom att använda Javas reflection API i kombination med dynamic proxies, kan applikationen utföra validering och simulering av integrationer innan de används i produktion. Vi innefattar även cache-metod för att snappa upp processen, och påvisar även testverifikation av cache-processen. Applikationen är utvecklad som två separata delar, bestående av en back end skriven i Java, och en webbaserad front end skapad med AngularJS.This report describes the development of an application used to configure integrations used by Sigma Integration Architecture (SIA). The application is aimed towards Sigma personnel unfamiliar with the integration architecture, as it provides the user with various help elements in an effort to ease the configuration process and lower the entry barrier for creating and editing integrations. This essay examines the crucial role of certain types of gender constructions in
the nationalist project. The Siamese state had to reform in the late nineteenth century if it was to survive in an Asia dominated by European imperial powers. The Chakri dynasty
created a salaried bureaucracy both for its civilian and military functions, and perhaps
more importantly, strictly separated the two functions in the process. This bureaucracy
created new problems for the dynasty. How could it ensure loyalty to a hereditary
monarch when his position was becoming increasingly superfluous? How could the
monarchy maintain its centrality within the state? King Vajiravudh responded to the new
challenge by resorting to a gendered strategy; through creating the paramilitary
organization, The Wild Tigers Corps, he built up a solidarity among the men staffing this single-sex institution. The king cultivated a warrior ethos among the bureaucrats and positioned himself as the chief warrior. Additionally, through his didactic writings, he encouraged his ‘wild tigers’ to reform their domestic life so that they could serve the state more effectively. Government officials were told to stick to monogamous relationships
and be content with a humble Thai wife who could provide a nurturing home life. This
analysis of King Vajiravudh’s initiatives demonstrates that changing conceptions of
masculinities were intimately linked to the formation of the Siamese nation-state.

Die Zentren für Lehrerbildung an den sächsischen Universitäten führen seit 2008 (TU Dresden) bzw. seit 2009 (Universität Leipzig) mit finanzieller Unterstützung des SMWK und des SMK Befragungen von Studierenden und Dozenten durch, die in Verbindung mit anderen Informationen einer kritische Bestandsaufnahme der neu eingeführten
BA/MA-Lehramtsausbildung dienen sollen. Wenn man sich der Einschränkungen und Grenzen von Befragungen bewusst ist, kann man statt von einer Bestandsaufnahme auch von Evaluationsstudien sprechen. Aktuelle Ergebnisse, die sich zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt allerdings nur auf den BA-Abschnitt des Studiums beziehen
können, werden auf einer Arbeitstagung am 4. Juni 2010 vorgestellt. Wie dem Programm zu entnehmen ist, wollen wir aber nicht bei der Präsentation der Resultate stehen bleiben. Dem Anspruch unserer Begleitforschung entsprechend, an der Lehrerbildung beteiligten Akteuren aus Hochschule und Politik nutzbare Informationen anzubieten, haben wir Schlussfolgerungen gezogen und Problemfelder der Lehrerbildung in Sachsen benannt, die wir zur Diskussion stellen.
Ein Forum zum Weiterdenken auf der Grundlage der Befragungsergebnisse soll die am Nachmittag stattfindende Podiumsdiskussion sein, zu der wir Vertreter der Ministerien (SMWK und SMK), der Hochschulleitungen und der Studierenden eingeladen haben.

The final product of this project is a high-quality recording of solo piano works by three living Thai composers; Nat Yontararak, Atibhop Pataradetpisan and Siraseth Pantura-umporn. It also includes two Yontararak’s arrangements of songs by King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej. This recording consists entirely of solo piano works written and arranged by contemporary Thai composers. As a Thai-born pianist, I believe it is my privilege to promote Thai classical music.
All pieces selected for this project demonstrate distinctively Thai characteristics, as well as pianistic techniques that are engaging to both the audiences and performers.
The recording features Piano Sonata No. 3 “Siam Sonata” by Nat Yontararak, “Duality” by Atibhop Pataradetpisan, “Bells” by Siraseth Pantura-umporn, “Still on My Mind” and “Love in Spring” by H.M. King Bhumibol, arranged by Nat Yontararak.
This recording project aims to archive three generations of composers living in present-day Thailand whose works fit exceptionally well for the solo piano. It is a part of my continuing efforts to open doors to future collaborations. As a Thai pianist, I am excited to be able to help foster a national identity through piano music.

Previous issue date: 2012Devido ao aumento da competitividade, as empresas têm buscado alternativas em melhorarem seus processos e aumentarem a qualidade de seus produtos e serviços. Não diferentemente, as empresas do setor da construção, particularmente aquelas voltadas para a construção de edifícios, têm adotado um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade (SGQ) no aperfeiçoamento de seus processos e no atendimento às exigências do mercado. Entre os SGQ existentes, o PBQP-H/SiAC tem se destacado por oferecer benefícios que são favoráveis às empresas deste segmento. Entretanto, ao contrário das médias e grandes empresas, as Micro e Pequenas Empresas (MPEs), por natureza, possuem recursos financeiros limitados, causando o adiamento no programa. Contudo, têm cabido às MPEs sua implementação justamente para se equivalerem com as maiores, permitindo, desta forma, maiores possibilidades de competitividade no mercado consumidor. Como forma de ajudá-las em sua sustentabilidade, é proposto neste trabalho um modelo para a autoavaliação aos requisitos do PBQP-H/SiAC, com o emprego da Lógica Fuzzy como ferramenta de medição. A Lógica Fuzzy permitirá obter um valor mais próximo do grau de formalizado do requisito avaliado, proporcionando, assim, melhor definição à tomada de decisão na melhoria do requisito, possibilitando, no final, maiores chances de certificação. Como ferramenta para coleta de dados, utilizou-se um questionário composto pelos requisitos de um dos níveis do programa com a inserção de uma escala. O modelo foi exposto a uma simulação, aos requisitos de um dos níveis do programa, a fim de atestar sua aplicabilidade. Como resultado, o modelo determinou o grau de formalizado do nível pretendido. Todavia, ele está sujeito a sofrer alterações e melhorias na busca por resultados mais consistentes
