Abstract:

Abstract:
Energy constraint hinders the popularization and development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). As an emerging technology equipped with rechargeable batteries, wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSNs) are being widely accepted and recognized. In this paper, we research the security issues in WRSNs which need to be addressed urgently. After considering the charging process, the activating anti-malware program process, and the launching malicious attack process in the modeling, the susceptible–infected–anti-malware–low-energy–susceptible (SIALS) model is proposed. Through the method of epidemic dynamics, this paper analyzes the local and global stabilities of the SIALS model. Besides, this paper introduces a five-tuple attack–defense game model to further study the dynamic relationship between malware and WRSNs. By introducing a cost function and constructing a Hamiltonian function, the optimal strategies for malware and WRSNs are obtained based on the Pontryagin Maximum Principle. Furthermore, the simulation results show the validation of the proposed theories and reveal the influence of parameters on the infection. In detail, the Forward–Backward Sweep method is applied to solve the issues of convergence of co-state variables at terminal moment.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Research on the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and the basic logic gates in the designing and manufacturing SiAlS (Simple Alarm System) as an attempt to Prevent theft helmet on had been done. This research was conducted aiming to create and Characterize alarm system. This study was intended to Prevent theft of the helmet. The method used in this research is divided into three stages, designing, manufacturing and testing. The working principle of this alarm system is when the helmet is mounted in the rearview mirror, the LDR will be closed so that the resistance increases the which causes the alarm to Become inactive. However, if the helmet is taken, the alarm will activate because The resistance decreases. However, the alarm will not work if the sensor cable is cut by the thief. To Overcome this problem, additional circuits are made using a NOT logic gates. The results of this research are prototypes in testing alarm systems and alarm systems get a 100% success rate. The advantage of this alarm systems are cheap and simple, Because it does not use a microcontroller and can be made individually.

In this research we analyze the work of the pastor and televangelist Silas Malafaia through his television and internet program, between the years of 2000 and 2013, seeking to understand the attempts to conform worldviews among his audience and to influence political guidelines and decisions. Malafaia proposes to his public a political engagement in specific issues, presented as being fundamental to "Christian values", usually of a moral or sexual nature, and defends the positions of an explicit conservatism. It has emerged in recent years as a religious and political leader, not only among the Pentecostal or evangelical public, after publicly opposing the rights and struggles of homosexuals, such as the legal recognition of the stable union of homosexual couples and the criminalization of homophobia. In conjunction with the opposition to homosexuality, the pastor moved into a position of opposition to left-wing parties and movements in general and to denounce supposed communist plans that would be put into practice in the country. We seek with this research to contribute to the understanding of the complex relationship between religion and politics which has been gaining importance in Brazilian society in recent years.KEYWORDS: Silas Malafaia; Religion; Hegemony.

This Dissertation treat of obtaining geotechnical properties of sediments of Barreiras Formation and the stability analysis of the cliffs located at the Barreira do Inferno Launches Center, Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte State. Coastal areas attracts great interest for the population in general, and developments in these regions are quite common, causing erosive processes to be studied in order to provide a better understanding of the factors influencing the Stability of the cliffs and consequently their safety. The study site in question, being a protected military area, is completely free of human interference and without any edification at its top, making the analysis representative of natural conditions imposed on the slopes studied. The activities developed during the elaboration of this dissertation are grouped in four stages: bibliographic revision, fieldwork, laboratory tests and stability analysis of the cliffs. Based on visits accomplished in situ, information was collected for the subsequent retrieval of the critical profiles of the cliffs for stability analysis. It was observed that the profiles in general aren?t steep, with the presence of basal incision in some areas. It was verified in analyzes that the tensile tensions acting are low. The main mechanism responsible for triggering the instability processes is the partial increase of soil saturation caused by rainfall, which decreases its resistance and generates mass movements. From the tests carried out, it was observed that the cohesion intercept of the saturated soils is around 26% of the obtained value in the natural moisture content. However, the angles of friction in both cases suffer inexpressive variations It was concluded that the presence of the basal incision had no significant effect on the reduction of stability in the configurations analyzed by the limit equilibrium methods, while stress analysis showed an increase in tensile stresses on the face of the section. The study of the stability analysis performed in this work effectively represented the types of rupture observed in the cliffs of the coast of Rio Grande do Norte, being more coherent than those obtained by traditional methods.

Abstract:
The assembly of the Mesoproterozoic super-continent Rodinia of southern Africa is evidenced by the fonnation of supracrustal belts and related granitic magmatism mainly between 1400 and 900 Ma and known collectively throughout Africa as the Kibaran event. As these new crustal segments were being fonned, the ancient cratons were flexed and, in some regions, fractured. The associated intracratonic mafic magmatism is preserved as mafic dyke swanns in certain parts of southern Africa. Three dyke swarms, namely the Kamativi, Mutare and Guruve are believed to be of "Kibaran" age (although their age constraints are, as yet, unknown). The Umkondo sills are also of Kibaran age having been dated at 1105 ± 2Ma. The geochemistry of these three dyke swanns indicates that whilst they are ostensibly unremarkable continental tholeiites, they do in fact comprise dykes of rather different compositions. Three distinct subgroups are identified within the Kamativi dykes, six subgroups within the Mutare dykes and six subgroups within the Guruve dykes. The recognition of these subgroups suggests that the term "swarm" cannot be used when referring to these intrusive suites until the age constraints of the different subgroups within a suite are defmed. The Umkondo sills have a unifonn geochemistry and are very different and easily recognisable from the older (~1.8 Ga) Mashonaland sills in that they have a higher Si02 content, lower Fe203 and Ti02, content with lower TilZr and TiN ratios than the Mashonaland sills. The differences in the geochemistry of the Kamativi, Mutare and Guruve subgroups and the Umkondo sills has led to the recognition of three distinct magma types. A relatively enriched, high-Ti source termed type I, a depleted low-Ti source tenned type II and type III which is a relatively depleted low-Ti source with selective trace element, subduction-related enrichment. The similarities between the type III dykes and the Umkondo sills indicate a craton-wide igneous event with melting from similar source mantle compositions. Distinct plume characteristics are not found within the geochemistry of the Zimbabwe intrusives, but this does not necessarily preclude a plume source. Crustal contamination may overprint plume signatures and result in the increase 87Sr/86Sr and corresponding decrease in 144Ndl143Nd ratios as seen in these dykes. As collisional tectonics along the western and southern margins of the Kalahari craton are indicated in the Namaqua-Natal Belt of South Africa, compressional stresses along the southern and western margins of the Kapvaal craton may have caused extension within the Zimbabwe craton. This resulted in the upwelling of hotter mantle material which induced melting of the subduction modified SCLM. This research has shown the importance of the geochemistry of dykes, in establishing whether they constitute separate "swanns", or relatively small batches of melt from different sources intruded penecontemporaneously.

Abstract:
Abstract The topic of this work is the sequential use of Solid Immersion Lenses (SILs), created in bulk silicon in less than 20 minutes of processing time, using a focused ion beam and a bitmap milling process. Fibbed SILs can be removed by polishing, and the silicon back surface resumes a perfect planar shape for further backside analysis or the creation of more SILs. The influence of the progressively thinner sample thickness on the magnification of the SIL was analyzed. As fibbed SILs in this work are about 1.4 µm thick and have an additional magnification of 2.4, a second process after removal has been found to decrease magnification not more than 20%. The presence of interference rings in the SIL image could be almost completely removed by anti-reflective coating. Photon emission microscopy, performed using fibbed SILs, allowed to clearly distinguish between sources that were separated by 240 nm wide structures.

Abstract:
Abstract Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) is a fast-growing method in the field of MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgery) that has the potential to represent the future of laparoscopic surgeries. The major benefits of SILS results from a single incision which makes surgeries essentially scar-less, and it can reduce wound infection substantially as well as recuperation time. Many new researches are now focusing on developing cutting edge technologies to support SILS; however, the practical applications of SILS are constrained by a number of intricacies such as space limitation, absence of dexterous multitasking tools, lack of sufficient actuation force and poor visualization. Deployment and retraction of surgical tools or robots are done manually in the absence of a multitasking tool manipulator which increases the surgery time, risk of injury and surgeon’s fatigue. Our research focuses on designing a novel operative hardware (multitasking manipulator) to facilitate the SILS technique with automatic tool changing capability. A wire driven mechanism has been implemented in the design to minimize the damage to the electronic hardware during sterilization since the electronic actuation and sensing components are located remotely from the end-effector which requires heat or chemical sterilization before surgery. And a wire-driven articulated robotic arm has also been designed to support the manipulator. The details of the robotic design and analysis are conducted in the paper. The feasibility of this robotic method has been demonstrated by experiments.

Abstract:
The experiment study was made to optimize the design of a pumping forebay. The Combined-sills were made in the forebay to eliminate the circulation and vortices of the diffusing flow successfully. The Numerical simulation of three-dimensional turbulent flow is applied on the complicate fore-and-aft flow of sills. The computational results are compared with the measurement results of physical model. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data. The flow pattern is obviously improved. The study results have been applied in the project which gives a uniform approach flow to the pumping sump.
