Seit einiger Zeit haben die Prosaromane der Gräfin Elisabeth von Nassau-Saarbrücken steigendes Interesse erfahren, was schließlich auch dazu geführt hat, dass sich Bernd Bastert (Bochum) und Ute von Bloh (Potsdam) jeweils mit einem Forschungsteam von Studenten darum bemüht haben, alle ihre vier Werke in kritisch bearbeiteten Ausgaben neu herauszugeben. Nun liegt der letzte Band vor, der Huge Scheppel und die Königin Sibille enthält. Wie in ihren bisherigen Editionen haben sie ganz bewusst den Namen der Autorin weggelassen, weil sie ernsthaft bezweifeln, dass Elisabeth entscheidend, wenn überhaupt, an der Schaffung dieser Romane beteiligt gewesen war. Dies wird freilich hier noch nicht einmal diskutiert, und der Leser sieht sich schlicht anonymen Texten gegenüber, was an und für sich genommen schlicht nicht stimmt. Diese Anonymität bleibt nach meiner Meinung sehr zweifelhaft, denn die Beweislast, ihr die Autorschaft abzusprechen, liegt bei Bastert und von Bloh, die aber bisher nicht genügend Evidenz für ihre negative These produzieren konnten, und was auch im vorliegenden Band nicht belegt wird.

Resum El treball que aquí presentam és l'aproximació iconogràfica al conjunt de cinc teles d'Època Moderna que representen les sibil·les de l'Antiguitat que a dia d'avui es troben en una sala de la planta noble de l'edifici de la confraria de Sant Pere i Sant Bernat de Palma. La semblança estètica entre elles i la proliferació de conjunts similars des del segle XVI ens fa pensar que possiblement es tracti d'una sèrie incompleta. Malgrat algunes incògnites que de moment no ens permeten explicar aspectes com l'arribada de les peces a Mallorca, o la seva fragmentació, tot apunta que estarien inspirades en els gravats de les sibil·les del pintor andalús Baltasar Porreño (1569-1639) i en uns mots italians renaixentistes que segons diversos autors haurien derivat en obres espanyoles i mexicanes coetànies. Aquest article treu a la llum unes peces fins ara desconegudes que són el testimoni de l'interès artístic per la temàtica de la Sibil·la als segles XVII i XVIII.

Abstract:

Ana Katarina Zrinska (rođ. Frankopan) značajna je spisateljica hrvatskog baroka. Njezini otkriveni pjesnički tekstovi koncem prošloga stoljeća pridonijeli su revalorizaciji čitavoga životnog djela. Obitelj Zrinski posjedovala je izuzetno lijepo ukrašen rukopisni primjerak gatalice (Sibile), na čijoj unutarnjoj strani nalazimo vlastoručne bilješke same Ane Katarine Zrinske kao vlasnice te nadalje jedan tajanstveni rebus. Prema mojoj interpretaciji groﬁca je na dan nadnevka 2. travnja 1670. pokušavala tražiti odgovor putem gatalice na pitanja kakva će sudbina zadesiti njenog supruga (Petra Zrinskog) i brata (Frana Krstu Frankopana) koji su za par dana krenuli na svoj kobni put u Beč. Poznata je činjenica da je hrvatska Sibila zapravo prijevod mađarske Fortune, a ova opet prijevod poljske Fortune. Temeljitu usporedbu triju gatalica zasada nitko nije izvršio.Hrvatsku je Sibilu prvi put objelodanio Ljudevit Ivančan (1906), najnovije je Zvonimir Bartolić (2007) objavio faksimil i transkribirani tekst te napisao opširniju studiju i dodao tumač riječi. U mađarskim i hrvatskim kritičkim izdanjima ima više nedostataka, među inim netočnog transkribiranja, krivih tumačenja nekih riječi, sintagmi.U svome radu usporedbom upitnih mjesta poljske, mađarske i hrvatske gatalice pokušavao sam popraviti, dopuniti, odnosno razriješiti proturječnosti u kritičkim izdanjima hrvatske i mađarske gatalice, a u studiji sam na osnovi potpunih hrvatskih i poljskih strofa iznio svoje prijedloge za dopunu riječi i izraza u mađarskoj Fortuni, nadalje protumačio i, ako je bilo potrebno, korigirao riječi i sintagme koje nisu bile ili su bile krivo interpretirane u mađarskom i hrvatskom kritičkom izdanju, a na kraju sam preko nekih zanimljivih konkretnih primjera pokušao objasniti razlike između mađarskog i hrvatskog teksta.Posebno sam poglavlje posvetio pitanju nejedinstvene versiﬁkacije hrvatske Sibile, napose posveti Siromahom, iznimno točnom i majstorski složenom samostalnom tekstu pisanom dvostruko rimovanim simetričnim dvanaestercima. Premda je u hrvatskoj književnopovijesnoj znanosti danas opće prihvaćena teza kako je Sibila prijevod više osoba (zna se, naime, da su u čakovečkom dvorcu Zrinskih djelovali dijaki), temeljitu ﬁlološku analizu nitko nije izvršio.Na osnovi usporedbe mađarske i hrvatske gatalice ovo stajalište čini nam se nepobitnim, primjerice sa značenjem iste mađarske riječi (marha u značenju ‘imovina’) u jednom je slučaju prevoditelj bio načisto, a u drugom ju pak nije uspio protumačiti, stoga je izostavljena u prijevodu. Neujednačeno oblikovani pjesnički tekst same gatalice s jedne strane, s druge pak strane iznimno lijepo i brižno sastavljena posveta (Siromahom) idu u prilog istoj tezi.Ana Katarina Zrinska Frankopan is an important woman writer of Baroque Croatian literature, whose poems unearthed towards the end of the last century shed new light on her entire work. The Zrinski family owned a special ornate manuscript fortune teller book (Sibila), the inner cover of which contains handwritten entries and a rebus from the Countess. According to my interpretation, on the day of the entry (2 April 1670), the Countess tried to get an answer from this book about the fate of her husband (Petar Zrinski) and her brother (Krsto Frankopan), who left for Vienna a few days later. It is a well-known fact that the Croatian Sibila was translated from the Hungarian Fortuna and the Hungarian from the Polish Fortuna. An accurate philological comparison of the three fortune teller books has not been done by anyone so far.The Croatian Sibila was ﬁrst published by Ljudevit Ivančan (1906) and then more recently by Zvonimir Bartolić (2007) in a facsimile with a full modern transcribed version of it, including a study and a gloss. There are several shortcomings in the critical editions of the Hungarian and Croatian fortune teller books, such as inaccurate transcriptions, misinterpretations, and omissions. In this study, the author makes an attempt to ﬁll the aforementioned lacunae and resolve the contradictions in the texts published by Zvonimir Bartolić and Géza Orlovszky by carefully comparing certain passages in the Polish, Hungarian, and Croatian fortune teller books.In the present paper, based on the available full Croatian and Polish verses, the author proposes to replace the missing words and expressions in the given verse of the Hungarian version of Fortuna. He also interprets and corrects words that are not interpreted or misinterpreted in the Hungarian and Croatian critical editions, and ﬁnally tries to ﬁnd an explanation for the diﬀerences between the Hungarian and Croatian texts using several interesting examples.In a separate chapter, the author deals with the somewhat inconsistent poetic text of the Croatian Sibila, and discusses in more detail the highly accurate, twice-rhyming, halved twelve separate text written Siromahom i.e. ‘For the Poor’. Although it is now believed in Croatian literary studies that Sibila is not the work of one but of several translators (it is a known fact that there were many copyists working at the court of the Zrinski family in Čakovec), no one has proved this.After an accurate comparison of the Hungarian and Croatian fortune teller books, it is quite apparent that the above statement is true, as the author’s analysis revealed that, for example, one translator knew the obsolete meaning of a given Hungarian word accurately (‘cattle’ in the sense of property), whilst the other did not, as it is missing from his translation. This is also supported by the uneven wording of the verses, which is particularly striking in the case of the poetic text of the extremely demanding dedication entitled Siromahom.

Abstract:

OBJETIVO: Analisar a prevalência e os sintomas relacionados à asma em escolares e adolescentes residentes em Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso. MÉTODO: Estudo transversal de base populacional da prevalência de asma em escolares de 6 e 7 anos de idade e adolescentes de 13 e 14 anos do município de Alta Floresta, MT, no ano de 2007. Foi utilizado o método padronizado do Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood - ISAAC, fase I, considerando como asmáticos aqueles estudantes que responderam afirmativamente à questão 2 - "presença de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses". RESULTADOS: Participaram da pesquisa 2.071 estudantes, dos quais 1.072 eram escolares (51,7%) e 999 adolescentes (48,3%). A prevalência de asma entre os escolares foi de 21,4%, enquanto entre os adolescentes foi 12,4% (χ2 = 29,29; ρ = 0,00). Os escolares apresentaram maior prevalência dos seguintes sintomas: sibilos alguma vez na vida (49,9%), sibilos nos últimos 12 meses (21,4%), de 1 a 3 crises de sibilos (16,4%) e tosse seca noturna (38,2%). Para diagnóstico médico de asma não houve diferença entre os dois grupos, situando-se em torno de 6,0%. Os escolares do gênero masculino apresentaram maior prevalência de asma, asma diagnosticada por médico e freqüência de sibilos maior ou igual a 4 vezes nos últimos 12 meses (ρ < 0,05). Os adolescentes do gênero masculino apresentaram maior prevalência de sibilo forte dificultando a fala (ρ < 0,05). CONCLUSÃO: Alta Floresta está entre os municípios brasileiros com uma das maiores prevalências de asma da América Latina entre escolares na faixa etária de 6 e 7 anos de idade.

Abstract:

Abstract We have developed an innovative cancer vaccine for the treatment of advanced NSCLC patients in combination with checkpoint inhibitors. This PDC*lung01 product based on an irradiated plasmacytoid dendritic cell line loaded with HLA-A*02:01 restricted peptides (NY-ESO-1, MAGE-A3, MAGE-A4, Multi-MAGE-A, MUC1, Survivin and Melan-A) is able to prime and expand peptide-specific CD8+ T cells in vitro and in vivo, and is synergistic with anti-Programmed Death (PD)-1 (Plumas et al, 2022; Hannani et al, 2023, NCT03970746). In study PDC-LUNG-101 with EudraCT number 2018-002382-19, PDC*lung01 is injected intravenously and subcutaneously for 6 times at two dose levels, 14 million, or 140 million cells in stage II/IIIA (cohort A1 & A2, monotherapy) or stage IV with TPS≥50% (cohort B1 & B2; in combination with pembrolizumab) patients. We report here the analysis of immune response of 3 cohorts (A1, A2, B1) of patients and the first 19 patients out of 42 (cohort B2) treated with high dose of PDC*lung01 in combination with Pembrolizumab at baseline and 3 timepoints post injection. Several circulating immune parameters have been evaluated at different times before and after vaccination using different assays we have developed: leukocyte count and determination of circulation peptide specific CD8+ T cells by flow cytometry using multimer tools without prior in vitro culture. The assay made on purified CD8+ T-cells allowed us to define a limit of quantification (LOQ) to accurately assess the fold changes of the cell expansion. In addition, tumor microenvironment (TME) was analyzed by multiplex fluorescence immunochemistry. The data of 42 patients for who an immune response has been evaluated (cohorts A and B) will be presented. No major changes in circulating main lymphocyte frequencies (B cells, NK cells, CD4+, CD8+, or Treg T cells) were observed during treatment. In addition, no major cell activation (CD25+, CD54, or DR+) was noted. In contrast, in a significant number of patients, PDC*lung01 induced circulating peptide-specific CD8+ T cell expansion in all 4 cohorts at different levels and time points against at least one out of seven peptides used. The percentages of patients for who an expansion of antigen-specific T-cell were observed were 50%, 64%, 66.7% and 68.4% in A1, A2, B1 and B2 cohorts respectively. The intensity of the immune response was proportional to the dose of PDC*lung01 and to the combination with pembrolizumab. When possible, total and peptide-specific CD8+ T cells were sorted for analysis of TCR repertoire, illustrating the modelling and dynamics of the immune response. The TME features will also be illustrated. To conclude, treatment with PDC*lung01 induces an anti-tumor immune response in a significant number of patients which appears to be enhanced by the combination with pembrolizumab. Abstract Background PDC*lung01 (IMP) is a therapeutic cancer vaccine based on an irradiated plasmacytoid dendritic cell line loaded with HLA-A*02:01-restricted peptides (NY-ESO-1, MAGE-A3, MAGE-A4, Multi-MAGE-A, MUC1, Survivin and Melan-A), able to prime and expand peptide-specific CD8+ T cells in vitro and in vivo, and is synergistic with anti-PD-1. Methods In this phase I/II study, HLA-A*02 positive NSCLC pts were enrolled in 4 cohorts: resected stage II/IIIA in adjuvant setting treated with low dose (A1) or high dose (A2) of IMP following SOC; or untreated stage IV NSCLC with measurable disease, PD-L1≥50% and no targetable driver mutation, treated with low dose (B1) or high dose (B2) of IMP in combination to pembrolizumab 200mg q3w, continuously. IMP was simultaneously administered by SC and IV route weekly for 6 consecutive doses. Objective response rate (ORR) and progression-free survival (PFS) were assessed in cohort B2. We report herein preliminary efficacy results of the first 21 pts analysed when the 19th evaluable patient reached the 9-months PFS and the safety of 38 pts. Results Out of 21, 19 pts receiving at least 5 doses of IMP and having 1 post-baseline radiological evaluation were evaluated. The median follow-up was 12.5 months. The best objective response (BOR) included 12 PR (63.2%) and 7 SD (36.8%) with ORR of 63.2% (80% CI 45.9% - 78.2%) and a disease control rate (DCR) of 94.7%. The 9mPFS according to the Kaplan-Meier estimate was 52.1% (80% CI 36.5% - 65.56%). The mPFS was 10.9 months. The median duration of response was 9.49 months. An antigen-specific CD8+ T-cell response was induced against the lung antigens of the IMP in 68.4% of pts. Immune responses with remarkable expanded anti-tumor CD8+ T-cells were observed both in PR and SD. More immune response results will be available in the final analysis of the 45 pts of cohort B2. Treatment-related AEs (TRAEs) were mostly Grade 1-2. Only 1 severe TRAE occurred, a Grade 4 allergic infusion-related reaction, leading to IMP discontinuation. Thirteen pts experienced a serious AE, of which 3 were considered causally related to the IMP. Conclusions The BOR, ORR, DCR, PFS, duration of response and safety of PDC*lung01 in combination with anti-PD-1 showed encouraging signals suggesting that this combination may provide a clinical meaningful tumour response in stage IV NSCLC population with a mild safety profile. Interestingly, the immune response observed confirms the mechanism of action of the IMP in relation to clinical activity. L'intento dell'Aleramo di fare della propria esistenza un'opera d'arte unito alla colta e raffinata complicità intellettuale di Dino Campana, rendono la lettera un luogo in cui proiettare non solo il sentimento di due amanti lontani, ma anche lo spazio in cui Sibilla plasma la sua identità di amante-attrice di un dramma amoroso. La corrispondenza, quindi, come unica testimone del loro idillio realizza la fusione tra vita e arte, trasformando il carteggio Aleramo-Campana nel romanzo del loro amore.

Introdução: A asma é uma doença inflamatória crônica das vias aéreas inferiores que se caracteriza clinicamente por aumento da responsividade dessas vias a diferentes estímulos com consequente obstrução ao fluxo aéreo, de forma recorrente e, tipicamente, reversível. Objetivo: investigar os aspectos clínicos, diagnóstico e tratamento de pacientes portadores de asma brônquica. Métodos: Foi realizada a pesquisa a partir das bases de dados como SciELO, PubMed, LILACS, BVS e BJHR por meio dos seguintes descritores: “asma Brônquica”, “doença crônica”, “sibilo”. Resultados e Discussão: O diagnóstico diferencial de asma é extenso, requer anamnese e exame físico cuidadosos, visto que engloba causas subjacentes e a exclusão de doenças que também provocam sibilos, como por exemplo a doença pulmonar obstrutiva crônica (DPOC), pois apresenta sintomas parecidos e produz resultados semelhantes nos testes de função pulmonar, mas diferem em aspectos biológicos importantes que nem sempre são clinicamente evidentes. Conclusão: Dessa forma, é de extrema importância os testes de função pulmonar para confirmar e quantificar a gravidade e a reversibilidade da obstrução das vias respiratórias. O tratamento envolve controle dos fatores deflagradores e terapia medicamentosa, geralmente com a inalação de agonistas beta-2 e corticoesteroides.

OBJETIVO: Avaliar a prevalência de asma em adolescentes (13-14 anos) na cidade de Fortaleza, CE. MÉTODOS: Estudo transversal utilizando o questionário do International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood e envolvendo 3.015 adolescentes de escolas públicas e privadas entre 2006 e 2007. RESULTADOS: As prevalências de "sibilos alguma vez na vida", "sibilos nos últimos doze meses" (asma ativa) e "asma alguma vez na vida" (asma diagnosticada) foram, respectivamente, 44,1%, 22,6% e 11,6%. As prevalências de "sibilos alguma vez na vida" (p = 0,001), "1-3 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses" (p = 0,001); asma ativa (p = 0,002); "sono interrompido por sibilos menos que uma vez por semana" (p < 0,001) e "tosse seca noturna" (p < 0,001) foram maiores nas adolescentes. Alunos de escolas privadas apresentaram maior prevalência de "sibilos alguma vez na vida", asma ativa, "1-3 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses", "4-12 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses" e asma diagnosticada (p < 0,001 para todos), além de "sibilos após exercícios" (p = 0,032). CONCLUSÕES: A prevalência de asma e de sintomas associados em escolares de 13-14 anos na cidade de Fortaleza mostrou-se elevada, predominando no sexo feminino e no grupo das escolas privadas. A diferença entre as prevalências de asma diagnosticada e a de asma ativa sugere que a asma foi subdiagnosticada na população estudada.

Abstract:

The article studies the works by Italian communist author Sibilla Aleramo (1876– 1960), written after her visit to the Soviet Union in 1952, namely an essay “Return from Moscow” published in the communist newspaper “Unità” on September 25, 1952, a poem “Russia alto paese” and a speech on her travel impressions, published in 1953. The analysis of the texts focuses on the functioning of the key elements of “Russian” and “Soviet” myth, which largely determined the image of the USSR in the eyes of Western societies in the early 1950s. The author pays special attention to religious motifs regarded through the prism of Paul Hollander’s concept of “political pilgrimage.” The article analyzes the historical context of the mentioned works, their place among other Italian travelogues on the Soviet Union written in the same time period, as well as the specific traits of Aleramo’s texts distinguishing them from travel prose of her contemporaries and forerunners (Italian authors, who visited the USSR in 1920s and 1930s). It also examines the image of the Soviet Russia created by Aleramo in the paradigm of the Russian and Soviet myth.

Abstract:

O objetivo deste estudo foi estimar a prevalência de asma e fatores associados em estudantes de 13 e 14 anos do Município de São Luís, Maranhão, Brasil. Realizou-se estudo transversal utilizando o questionário do ISAAC (International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) e questionário complementar, entre julho de 2008 e maio de 2009 com 3.069 adolescentes. A prevalência de asma (sibilos nos últimos 12 meses) foi de 12,7%, sendo que 32,4% apresentaram sibilos alguma vez na vida, 3,9% tinham dificuldade de fala por causa de sibilos e 9,8% relataram sibilos após exercícios físicos. Na análise multivariada, os fatores associados à maior prevalência de asma foram história familiar de asma, infecção respiratória e sibilos no início da vida, eczema, tabagismo passivo e rinite alérgica. A prevalência de asma encontrada foi inferior à brasileira. Os fatores mais associados com a prevalência de asma foram história familiar de asma (RP = 3,86), sibilos no início da vida (RP = 4,58) e rinite alérgica (RP = 3,21).

A cavallo tra Otto e Novecento, nelle zone alle porte di Roma, erano confluite intere famiglie provenienti da altre aree del Lazio, dalla Campania e dall’Abruzzo, dedite al nomadismo, costrette a vivere in abitazioni più che precarie e quasi totalmente analfabete. Qui, a partire dal 1904, un gruppo d’azione, formato dai coniugi Angelo e Anna Celli, Sibilla Aleramo, Giovanni Cena, Carlo Segré e Duilio Cambellotti si impegna in una capillare opera di alfabetizzazione. Nel saggio si analizzano una serie di articoli firmati da Sibilla Aleramo, apparsi su diverse testate, dedicati a promuovere un modello scolastico che portasse conoscenza alla miseria, andando incontro a un’intera popolazione che viveva nella miseria. L’analisi di questi scritti permette di valorizzare ulteriormente il composito profilo intellettuale della scrittrice mettendo in relazione, ancora una volta, l’esperienza letteraria con quella umana.

Avaliou-se, em estudo transversal, a influência do padrão alimentar sobre a ocorrência de sibilo e asma atópica e não atópica em 1.168 crianças e adolescentes em Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. Sibilo e sintomas de asma nos últimos 12 meses foram obtidos por meio do questionário ISAAC. Atopia foi definida pela presença de IgE específica a aerolérgenos. Questionário de frequência alimentar foi usado para definir padrões alimentares. Empregou-se regressões logística e logística politômica multivariadas. O consumo de pescados reduziu a ocorrência de sibilo em 27% (IC95%: 0,56-0,94) e asma em 37% (IC95%: 0,47-0,83); asma não atópica em 51% (IC95%: 0,31-0,79) e sibilo não atópico em 38% (IC95%: 0,46-0,83). O maior tercil do padrão alimentar reduziu o sibilo em 27% (IC95%: 0,57-0,95), sibilo atópico em 46% (IC95%: 0,30-0,98), asma em 36% (IC95%: 0,49-0,83) e asma atópica em 50% (IC95%: 0,28-0,89). O consumo de pescados pode conferir efeito protetor para sibilo e asma não atópica e o padrão alimentar para sibilo e asma atópica.

Abstract:

L'autore descrive in questo lavoro gli effetti della depressione materna sullo sviluppo del bambino, richiamando i lavori di Winnicott e di Green sulla "madre morta" e discutendo in particolare l'impossibilità per i bambini di riparare l'umore materno. Il caso clinico discusso permette di affrontare vari ed interessanti temi a cominciare dal ruolo delle percezioni visive madre-bambino, delle caratteristiche del "fantasying", della di-fesa maniacale, ma soprattutto dell'uso del controtransfert come guida per stati di funzionamento primitivi. In particolare, descrive nella terapia la necessità di una regressione alla dipendenza, complessa per i pazienti che si confrontano con una assenza, e della possibilità di instaurare un holding che assicuri il riassestamento dei processi maturativi interrotti.
