Abstract:
Sibling rivalry is a form of relationship conflict with siblings that can affect individual development, both positively and negatively and give impact on the child, parents, and society. Puskesmas Kabila is one of the health centers in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo, which has the lowest achievement of health services for children under five, namely 61.1% in 2019 and as many as 70% of mothers who have more than one toddler tend to experience sibling rivalry. This literature study aims to determine the factors associated with the behavior of sibling rivalry in toddlers. This literature study research was conducted by examining 13 literatures consisting of 8 journals and 5 books. The results will be analyzed descriptively. The independent variable in this study is the factors examined in research journal articles, while the dependent variable is the behavior of sibling rivalry in children under five. The research instrument used was a data table to make it easier to interpret the results of a literature study. The results of the literature study show that the factors associated with sibling rivalry include: parenting styles, emotional intelligence, parental knowledge, differences in gender and age as well as parents' attitudes towards children.

Abstract:
Toddler age is one of the age stages that occurs in the age range of 1 to 3 years. At this time, children will find it easier to learn and understand new things. Some children grow up with their siblings. The existence of these siblings often creates feelings of jealousy, anger, and fear in children, which feelings will lead to sibling rivalry. The negative impacts of sibling rivalry include the occurrence of tantrums in children, giving rise to a regression attitude, low self-efficacy, not wanting to share with siblings, and aggressive behavior both physically and verbally. Parents have an important role in preventing sibling rivalry, Erik Erikson in his theory explains that toddler-age children are entering a phase of autonomy vs shame. Where children begin to learn to be independent and have self-control over their own lives. The purpose of writing this article is to explain how the role that parents can play in preventing sibling rivalry in toddler age children is based on the perspective of Erik Erikson's theory of development. The method used in writing this article is a literature study by collecting several sources from research journal articles that are in accordance with the topics discussed. The result is that parents must provide understanding to the child that they will not lose attention and affection because of the presence of siblings, and continue to give full attention to toddler age children so that this stage can be successfully passed by the child, increasing parental knowledge about parenting patterns, characteristics children in each stage of growth and development, knowledge about sibling rivalry, the causes and ways to prevent and overcome sibling rivalry, and teach children how to channel emotions properly.

Abstract:
This analysis addresses ideas which, during the last century, developed around the relationship between literature and film as narrative arts. From a historical perspective, a description is provided about how these disciplines have confronted one another and how they have learned to coexist under the cloak of semantics as a regulator of the signification processes that both cinema and literature stimulate. Moreover, the article discusses the differences between these two art forms, particularly regarding “matters of expression,” highlighting the points of connection between the two in order to potentiate their comparative analysis.

Abstract:
While current research has begun to address parental influences on talent development in sport, sibling interaction remains relatively under-examined. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the underpinning mechanisms through which sibling interaction impacts on talent development. Retrospective phenomenological interviews were conducted with four sets of siblings ( n = 9), where at least one sibling had competed to an elite level. Findings revealed several higher order themes that impacted positively on the talented athletes’ development: regularity of interaction in sport, emotional interpersonal skills, rivalry, resilience, co-operation and separation. Separation appeared as the athlete reached elite status, suggesting that these former mechanisms primarily impact during the development phase. Such findings support and extend the sibling, elite sport and talent development literature and provide valuable insight for both practitioners and academics. Importantly, coaches should consider a sibling’s role as an important mechanism outside of the formal coaching structure for talent development.

Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to review recent literature and introduce a systemic approach to the nature of sibling relationships during the first years of life. A growing body of evidence suggests that siblings play considerable roles in each other’s development, and that the quality and the character of the sibling bond may have far-reaching effects. The present review elucidates the interactions between subsystems, particularly the functioning of the sibling subsystem; it also considers influences from other internal and external factors. It discusses siblinghood between children with regard to three main domains: warmth and support, rivalry and jealousy, and conflict. The final part of the article suggests some implications considering the influence of child siblinghood on adolescent and adult life.

Abstract:
This study addressed children's reports of self-disclosures to their siblings and best friends in early adolescence. Twenty-four boys and 22 girls in Grade 4 (<em>M </em>age = 9.48,<em> SD </em>= .59) and 19 boys and 28 girls in Grade 6 (<em>M</em> age = 11.15 years, <em>SD</em> = .55) were interviewed regarding disclosures to siblings and friends. They also completed the Sibling Relationship Questionaire (Furman &amp; Buhrmester, 1985b) and the Friendship Activity Questionaire (Bukowski, Hoza, &amp; Boivin, 1994) to rate the quality of each relationship. Participants were more likely to disclose peer, academic, and shared interest issues to friends than siblings. Boys reported discussing shared interests more frequently with both siblings and friends. Respondents who disclosed to their siblings also reported higher warmth, rivalry, and greater conflict in their sibling relationship. Early adolescents who did not disclose to their friends reported greater friendship conflict. Findingds are discussed in light of recent theory and empirical literature.

Abstract:
As academic literatures and political demands, global justice and populism look like competing ways of diagnosing and addressing neoliberal inequality. But both misunderstand neoliberalism and consequently risk reinforcing rather than undermining it. Neoliberalism does not just break down political and social hierarchies, but also relies on and sustains them. Unless populists recognize this, they will find that assertions of sovereignty do more to reinforce neoliberalism and reproduce its hierarchies than to resist them. Recognizing neoliberalism as not simply corrosive of solidarity but also producing its own affective ties suggests that global justice advocates need to develop a critique of individual attitudes that egalitarian liberals have often seen as private and been hesitant to judge. In short, if either populism or global justice hope to take advantage of neoliberalism’s failures to advance an egalitarian politics, they need to reckon more carefully with their own entanglement with neoliberalism’s hopes and hierarchies.

Abstract:
Dreikurs R, Stoltz V. Children: The Challenge. 2nd ed. New York, NY: Dutton; 1987; list price $7.95 (#9 on the 1988 bestseller list of books on child care of the Ingram Book Co, distributors of trade books). Dreikurs considers development based on the mutual regulation between parent and child. Addressing issues in discipline and behavior from infancy to early adolescence, he perceives the parents' role as model, nurturer, and instructor, although mothers are given more responsibility for child-care than fathers. Various methods are offered for resolving conflicts in a range of typical problem situations. Techniques involve active listening, use of natural consequences, limit setting, etc. From toilet training to sibling rivalry, children's motives for misbehavior are explained. The text illustrates both theory and practice in child-rearing so that the principles learned are not only corrective and instructive, but also preventive. The difficulties of parenthood, peer, media, and sibling pressures are addressed but not the needs of special children. There is some presumption that families are intact and that a homemaker is present. The book is well-organized and rated as easy to read. Fairly believable vignettes illustrate parents' and children's contributions to situations of conflict. A section at the end of the book gives parents an opportunity to practice and review newly learned skills and principles.

Abstract:
The psychiatric literature on deaf children is sparse. Even less attention has been paid to the more common situation of the hearing child raised by deaf parents. Such a child is deprived of the parents’ hearing and often the parents’ speech. The oldest hearing child in the family often takes on the role of family interpreter which may be a source of both pride and resentment. This can contribute to role reversal leading to a frustration of the child's dependency needs and bitter sibling rivalry. Other problems may result from the parents’ ambivalence towards their child. The available literature is surveyed and case illustrations are provided. Suggestions to therapists working with similar families are made.

Abstract:
Considering development to have multivariate determinants, the authors address child-care issues from womb to adolescence. Parents' roles include controller and arranger of the environment and instructor and guide; identical across parents' gender. Management methods depend on applied behavioral theory, usually reinforcement and punishment. These evolve with the developing child, and are designed to be preventive, instructive, and corrective. Detailed advice is given on a range of child-rearing topics such as immunizations, illnesses, thumbsucking, diaper changing, and toilet training. The social context includes consideration of parents' vulnerabilities, the effects of divorce, sibling rivalry, and the needs of exceptional children. Parents are assisted in finding needed resources and there are no presumptions of family structure or material resources. The reading level is moderate, the book well-organized; thorough and systematic in its coverage of a diverse range of topics. It is indexed in detail. The authors assume no prior knowledge of child-care. Medical content was rated as excellent.

Abstract:
Summary This paper contributes to the literature on the determinants of children’s human capital by analyzing the effects of birth order in Germany. These effects are typically attributed to sibling rivalry for parental resources. For our analysis we use data collected as part of the German Life History Study on birth cohorts 1946-1977. We find a substantial positive impact of being first born on the probability of completing higher secondary education. Analyzing gender differences, we find stronger effects for boys. Furthermore, birth order effects are more prevailing in small families. The results are discussed against the background of equal opportunities in the German educational system.

Abstract:
Abstract Objective: This paper reviews the major family business research papers that address factors related to relationship and work-to-family conflicts. Methodology: The procedure this paper applies follows recommendations for literature reviews by Fink (2010) consisting of: (1) selecting a research question (2) selecting bibliographic or article databases, (3) choosing search terms, (4) applying practical screening criteria, (5) applying methodical screening criteria, (6) doing the review and (7) synthesizing the results. Findings: The article summarizes that, although family business research is progressing in terms of theory building, it continues to lack a systematic adoption of longitudinal, cross-national and multi-theoretical approaches. To date, research on conflict in family firms remains underdeveloped in the CEE. Value Added: Outlining the state of the art of theoretical and empirical studies by applying a resource-based view. Recommendations: Application of control variables, such as size of the business, business life cycles, generational status, type of industry and various cultural settings. Furthermore, the role of communication, sibling rivalry and perceived justice of family members could be investigated more thoroughly.

Abstract:
AbstractOn the Colombian Left during the 1940s, little differentiated the rank and file of the Communist party from the left wing of the Liberal party. Individuals commonly moved back and forth between the two groups. Animosity was rampant among leaders, however, as shown by the clashes between the principal compañeros and Jorge Eliécer Gaitán's left-Liberal populist mobilization. As this rivalry played out in the Communist strongholds of the union movement, it became apparent that a large portion of the organized working class (perhaps a majority) supported Gaitán even though their leaders dismissed him as a fascist. Workers, organized and unorganized, clearly demonstrated their belief that Gaitanismo was a radical movement of change despite the fact that it arose within the traditional party system.

Abstract:
Sperm competition is a powerful selective force driving the evolution of sperm shape and function. Recent findings suggest that sperm cooperation is a potential evolutionary response to sperm competition. Sperm cooperation may enhance the performance of the ejaculate increasing a male's chance to outcompete rival males in competition for fertilisation. Whether and how sperm cooperation may evolve is the focal point of this review. The relative importance of haploid and diploid gene expression for the evolution of sperm cooperation and the potential conflict of interest between (i) haploid sperm and diploid male and (ii) among sibling sperm, since sibling sperm only share an average of 50% of their genes in a diploid organism, are discussed. Furthermore, sperm cooperation is defined and the literature for empirical evidence of sperm cooperation is reviewed in light of the author's definitions.

Abstract:
Abstract: A child who has a sibling or has just had a sibling may face resistance when adapting and lead to fights or rivalries with the sibling. Sibling rivalry is a feeling of anger, jealousy, and maybe disappointment in children which can be caused by parenting, fear of loss, and others. Sibling rivalry can be triggered by the age gap between siblings, namely 1-3 years and can appear at the age of 3-5 years and 8-12 years or elementary school age. Cooperative Play is an intervention that can help reduce Sibling Rivalry and emphasizes games that prioritize participation and fun over challenges. Previous studies have tried something similar and stated that these interventions can reduce Sibling Rivalry in children. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Cooperative Play as an intervention that can reduce Sibling Rivalry in children. The method used in this research is quantitative in the form of an experiment using an instrument, namely the Sibling Rivalry Questionnaire. The number of subjects in this study were two pairs of brothers and sisters. The pretest results from the experimental group were 113, while the control group was 116. Then the posttest results from the experimental group were 106, while the control group was 113. Based on the method used, it was found that there were no significant results or changes between the control group that was not given the intervention and the experimental group that was given the intervention once. Keywords: Child; Sibling rivalry; Cooperative play. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat sibling rivalry maka semakin tinggi rendah motivasi berprestasi siswa, begitupun sebaliknya, semakin rendah tingkat sibling rivalry maka semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract:
Kata kunci : Sibling Rivalry, bounding attachment Abstract Background: In the Bounding Attachment process, there are several factors influencing the process including Rivalry Sibling or the behavior of child or baby with family that can grow from the child himself and the parents in giving education. Parental treatment to children is a key factor that determines the competition occuredamong the siblings. The first child's response to youger sister (baby) can affect the process of bounding attachment in the way that the baby will be disturbed by crying. If it happens repeatedly, the goal of bounding attachments that the baby will carry out exploration becomes limited, therefore it will reduce social attitudes and imitate his brother's attitude. The most dominant factor in sibling rivalry is the attitude of parents. This means that parents share attention with others, idolize certain children, feel upset with certain children, and compare children so that it may trigger sibling rivalry. Fair parental treatment will create close emotional betweenparents and children so that they will always have a strong inner bond (love). Objective: this study is to know the relationship between Sibling Rivalry and Bounding Attachment in Postpartum Mothers in Bae of Kudus. Method: This study used analytical correlation research with cross sectional approach. The population were 52 respondents. Taken accidental sampling, the samples were 46 respondents.
