Nowadays, many scholars attach importance to how sieving parameters of vibration screen influence sieving efficiency. The traditional research of screening theory and technology depended on the screening test that consumed a lot of human labour, material resources and money.DEM software EDEM was used to establish the simulation model of screening in this paper. Five simulation particle shapes were built base on real shapes of stone particle. Abstract:
In 2012, for the first time China implemented the toll free expressway policy for part of vehicles on major holidays. However, there is no universal compensation mechanism thereafter. How to choose the compensation basis is the core issue of establishing such a mechanism. A proper solution is to choose suitable data of listed expressway companies as the basis. Factors including corporate social responsibility and compensation theory being taken into account, listed companies with an over 95% ratio of toll operations are sifted out, and part of companies with low efficiency are wiped out by DEA

Mild conditioned, second-life ternary nickel–cobalt–manganese (NCM) black powder regeneration from spent lithium-ion batteries’ (LIBs) black powder mixture was demonstrated after mild conditioned p-toluenesulphuric acid (PTA)-assisted wet leaching. The NCM ratio was tailored to several combinations (333, 523, 532, and 622) by adding a suitable amount of metal (Ni, Co, Mn)-sulphate salt to the leachate. Regenerated NCM was obtained by co-precipitation with sodium hydroxide pellets and ammonia pH buffering solution, followed by lithium (Li) sintering under ambient air and size sieving. The obtai

A modified theoretical model has been proposed to predict the pore size characteristics of nonwoven geotextiles under certain uniaxial tensile strains, considering the difference between the out-of-plane Poisson’s ratio and the in-plane Poisson’s ratio of geotextiles. The pore size distributions (PSDs) and O95 subjected to different levels of uniaxial tensile strains in two needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles have been investigated by the dry sieving test. The variation of the fibre orientation with tensile strains and the corresponding effect on pore sizes has been evaluated by image analysis

The water–cement ratio (w/c) of delivered concrete is one of the most important parameters of the material’s quality. In this study, the AASHTO T318-15 guideline was adopted to estimate the water content of fresh concrete mixes and was revised for better precision. The additional step required sieving out the coarse aggregate after drying the sample in a microwave oven, and using it in the calculation of the absorbed water and cementitious material content. The cementitious content was assumed to be proportional to the mix design ratios. Several laboratory batches, as well as on-site water–cem

The research was preceded by preparation of nickel slag samples with crushing and sieving up to 200 mesh. The nickel slag is then reduced at 800°C, 900°C and 1000°C temperature without adding sodium sulfate and by adding sodium sulfate with 1 hour holding time.
