We created a novel paradigm to investigate phonological processing in sign and asked how age of acquisition (AoA) may affect it. Participants indicated which of two signs was more phonologically similar to a target, and estimated the strength of the resemblance with a mouse click along a continuous scale. Perceptual processing is translation of patterns in the data of sense into cognitive understanding without uniceptual inference. Understanding language differs from ordinary perceptual processing in that the signs it translates are detached rather than attached. Their use is mostly factive, which encourages overlooking the fallibility of perception. Nobody enjoys being rejected. It hurts to have your most recent paper rejected after putting a lot of work and effort into it. A manuscript may be rejected for a variety of reasons, such as simple mistakes and oversights or just being unrelated to the journal's focus. One of the major risk factors is technical rejection. On other signs, the technical rejection gets worse. Thus, the goal of this chapter is to identify the key technical risk factors for paper rejection. The cosine similarity measure in the SVPNS environment was utilised in this study to determine this risk factor.
