Abstract:
The phenomenon of light and shadow is discussed by many sciences, including art criticism. And what does the shadow really represent? What is the relationship between light and shadow? When and why do we use shadows as a technique in theatrical performances? This work explores the shadow as a consequence of the action of light on an object that does not allow it to pass through - the "gray shadow" in theatrical performances. There Are numerous theatrical performances in which diverse projections and shadows are used as expressive means. We use shadow in the theater when we want to know, to see

<span lang="EN-US">An Image's Edge Detection is the process of finding and pinpointing sharp discontinuities in an image. Detecting the edges of an image significantly reduces the quantity of data and removes unnecessary information while keeping the fundamental structural aspects of an image. Edge detection is essential when it comes to image categorization in computer vision and object identification. The primary goal of this research is to investigate several strategies for edge detection and shadow of objects in Aerial view Images. Machine vision, face detection, medical imaging, and

Election cycles, especially presidential ones, are rarely held in the United States in a discreet manner and without a unique character that reflects the general political situation in the country and the world as a whole. At the turn of the 20th-21st centuries, they have always been special, always featuring extraordinary elements of spectacle and a certain drama. Scientific integrity requires noting that the 2022 midterm elections were also called “extremely unusual” in the media, which corresponds to reality, the nature and outline of which, in its many forms, change over time: “here and no

The article focuses on the notion of the image of self-shadow in American photography in the second half of the twentieth century, understood as a shadow silhouette of the creator captured in a photograph. The two main problems that concern the author’s research are the lack of current, theoretical study on the problem of shadow in the history of photography from the perspective of art history (V. Stoichita, R. Casati, P. Cavanagh, H. Kanaan) and the lack of the definition of the phenomenon of self-shadow and its possible types in self-portraiture. The author’s proposition of a definition of s

Purpose: The objective of the study was to qualitatively assess the micro-gap dimensions, connecting fitting surface profile, and bacterial leakage of cast high-gold-alloy UCLA abutments, with or without electrodeposited gold coatings attached to external hexagon implants. Materials and methods: Sixteen plastic UCLAs (PUCLAs) were cast with a high-gold-content alloy. Eight were electrolytically gold plated. Five machined cast-to-UCLA (GUCLA) control abutments were cast with the same alloy. All abutments were attached to external hexagon implants, giving 21 implant-abutment combinations (IACs).

In this paper, we revisit the rotating global monopole metric and extend the metric to a rotating dyonic global monopole in the presence of a perfect fluid. We then show that the surface topology at the event horizon, related to the metric computed, is a 2-sphere using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. By choosing ω = − 1 / 3 , 0 , 1 / 3 we investigate the effect of dark matter, dust and radiation on the silhouette of a black hole. The presence of the global monopole parameter γ and the perfect fluid parameters υ also deform the shape of a black hole’s shadow, which has been depicted through graphical

Abstract:
Wayang Kulit, Indonesia’s traditional shadow puppetry, has long been a cornerstone of the country’s artistic and cultural heritage. As digital entertainment evolves, its aesthetic, narrative, and symbolic elements have found new life in video game design, influencing both visual storytelling and interactive mechanics. This paper explores how Wayang Kulit’s stylized silhouettes, mythological themes, and moral dualities have been adapted into modern gaming, particularly within Indonesian indie game development and global game aesthetics. It examines case studies of games inspired by Wayang Kulit
