Ag thin films were successfully produced via a green chemistry method from silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) obtained from reacting an extract of Pelargonium Zonale leaves with silver nitrate. The ions of silver nitrate were reduced to silver atoms by reducing stabilizer-capping compounds contained in the extract of Pelargonium Zonale leaves. The obtained atoms nucleate in small clusters that grew into nanoparticles and finally, they formed a homogeneous silver thin film on a glass substrate. Nanoparticle formation was confirmed by UV-visible spectroscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Conductive Atomic Force Microscopy (CAFM) showed that the conductivity of the films decreased upon exposure to UV. This decrease in the conductivity is most likely due to the clustering of charge carriers. Initially, Ag+ ions are attached to negatively charged pore walls in a dense packing net

Medieval mystical episodes are made intelligible to modern audiences through reference to the filmic - the language, form, and lived experience of cinema. Abstract:
This experiment involves depositing a silver film on a glass substrate and transforming it into a silver sulfide film with memristor characteristics using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) techniques. We used scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) to examine the film's surface growth quality and crystal structure. Measurements of the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics showed that Ag2S films exhibit memristive effects and can form n-Ag2S/p-silicon diodes. Ongoing photoconductivity measurements indicate that the sample demonstrates good performance under specific frequen

Abstract:
For several years, we have been developing a new method of surface structure characterization.1 This method, based on microdensitometer analysis of shadowed surface replicas, has proved powerful, both in topography restitution and determination of statistical parameters for various surfaces such as thin evaporated films. It also proved to be particularly useful for a microroughness study. An extensive surface investigation of a silver film evaporated on a supersmooth substrate was done to explain persistent discrepancies between our results and those obtained with plasmon methods.2 We show tha

Abstract:
In this 1-year feasibility study, we tried polymerization of several different monomers, commercial as well as novel, specially designed and synthesized for this project in the presence of the nitrate ion to produce imprinted conductive polymers. Polymers 1 and 2 (shown below) produced a response to nitrate, but one inferior to that produced by a polypyrrole (Ppy)-based sensor (which we demonstrated prior to this study). Thus, we elected to proceed with improving the stability of the Ppy-based sensor. In order to improve stability of the Ppy-based sensor, we created a two-layer design which in
