Abstract:
Modernization of the pusher electric drive of inter-stand cooling facility of sheet rolled product is an actual way to increase efficiency of rolling production. The control by the existing electric drive is accomplished by a system, comprising an asynchronous motor. Problems of automation of the facility of inter-stand cooling of sheet rolled product of JSC “Ural steel” sheetrolling shop considered. Modernization of existing system by implementation of frequency convertor with vector control proposed. To restrict the pusher movement it proposed to use induction sensors and controller SIMATIC S7-300. Algorithm of the pusher operation with induction sensors application considered. The elaborated algorithm of the pusher operation realized on the base of SIMATIC S7-300 controller. Calculation and building of load diagram and the pusher drive tachometric diagram accomplished for one cycle of its operation. Taking into account nominal data of the pusher selected motor and requirements to electric equipment, a frequency convertor with vector control was selected. Implementation ofthe system “frequency convertor – asynchronous motor” with vector control justified. The vector control enables to provide a preset pace of the motor acceleration, its complete protection against over-loading that increases considerably service life of the electric drive system as a whole. Application of frequency controlled pusher drive together with SIMATIC S7-300 controller will enable to automatize the process of the pusher operation. Implementation of the developed automation system of the pusher electric drive operation is possible also at other steel-works.The payback period of the solutions proposed within the frame of the project will be 9 months.

After introducing the principle of ventilation and dehumidification for closed steam hood, the key and difficulty points of its control are analyzed. Aiming at the production line of coating white board with surface sizing and high steam consumption, DCS system of steam hood based on SIMATIC S7-300 PLC is designed. The hardware structure and control algorithms are illustrated in detail. The control system has been applied on the paper machine with nearly 10 board paper plants of the coating white board paper base in Fuyang, Zhejiang province, and the good energy-saving control effect has been obtained.

Many scientific papers deals with the usage of fuzzy rules to implement PID control. Fuzzy models, especially the Takagi-Sugeno-type, have received significant attention from various fields of interest. It is very often very difficult to determine all the parameters of the Takagi-Sugeno-type controller. In this paper we present optimization of Takagi-Sugeno-type fuzzy regulator parameters by genetic algorithm. Implementation of universal fuzzy P/PS/PD function block implemented to the PLC Simatic S7 300/400 is introduced. Mamdani model is used as comparative model. Parameters of Takagi-Sugeno-type fuzzy regulator are determined by genetic algorithm optimization from comparative regulation surface.

Abstract:
Background: A multi-motor synchronous drive control system is widely used in many fields, such as electric vehicle drive, paper making, and printing. Methods: On the basis of the optimized structure of ADRC, a fuzzy first-order active disturbance rejection controller was developed. Double channels compensation of extended state observer was employed to estimate and compensate the total disturbances, and an approximate linearization and deterministic system was obtained. As the parameters of ADRC are adjusted online by a fuzzy controller, the performance of the controller is effectively improved. Results: Based on the SIMATIC S7-300 induction motor control experimental platform, the performances of anti-interference and tracking performance are tested. Conclusion: The actual experimental results indicated that compared with PID control, induction motor drive system controlled by fuzzy ADRC has higher dynamic and static status and following performances and stronger anti-interference abilities.

Design of Robust PI Controllers and their Application to a Nonlinear Electronic SystemThe principal aim of the paper is to present a possible approach to the design of simple Proportional-Integral (PI) robust controllers and subsequently to demonstrate their applicability during control of a laboratory model with uncertain parameters through the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) SIMATIC S7-300 by Siemens Company. The proposed and utilized synthesis consists of two steps. The former one is determination of controller parameters area, which ensures the robustly stable control loop and is based on computing/plotting the stability boundary locus while the latter one lies in the final choice of the controller itself relying on algebraic techniques. The basic theoretical parts are followed by laboratory experiments in which the 3rd order nonlinear electronic model has been successfully controlled in various working points.

The paper describes the method that can be used to monitoring of a water feeding system of a civil building and its subsystems, using a graphic interface of a soft-ware pack – SCADA (Supervisory Control and data Acquisition), WinCC Flexible. The effective adjustment of the pressure of the water feeding system implies using specific elements: sensors, execution elements, programmable automatons and monitoring devices. In the paper, also is analysed the situation in which three centrifugal pumps are utilized as execution elements, a pressure sensor – to measure the pressure of the water feeding system of the consumer, three sensors that detect the presence of water in each well and a Siemens programmable automaton, from the SIMATIC S7-300 series, which controls the process and a PC for the acquisition of data and for monitoring. Thus, it presents a schematic system operating water supply, logic operation sequence control, protection, signage and display alarms

The thesis deals with the design and development of control algorithms and visualization system for controlling of eccentric press and its implementation into the press line. As a control system a SIMATIC s7-300 is used and for visualization the touch panel MP370 is implemented. The first part of the thesis describes a technology of the press line. This is followed by the design of hardware equipment and specification of control units. The thesis also provides insight into the creation of PLC program and explanation of specific functions. Finally, the development of visualization of the machine and description of application windows are demonstrated in the present work.

This thesis deals with the design of automated system of electroplating. The first part is centered on designing the technological process for this electroplating and the setout of operating vats. It also deals with the project of mechanical construction, electrical system, with the computing procedure and the optimum choice of gear for galvanic line model. The work includes the design of a DC motor controller, the computing procedure and the construction of heating element for vats heater simulation. The last part of this thesis offers an insight to the control system and the assembled program. In the addendum, the photo of the realized model, the wiring scheme, and the programme transcript for control galvanic line model can be found.

Diesel engine power plant, gas turbine power plant and steam turbine power plant are in common use in ship main propulsion power. These power plants have each advantage and disadvantage at mass, size, most high-power, economic ability, and maneuverability. But any single power is difficult to meet the requirement of improving the ships’ tactical performance, speed and maneuverability. In developing history of ship propulsion system, in order to solve the contradiction between full speed high-power and cruise economic ability, combined power plant form can change the performance of simple plant, which collected the advantage of all kinds of power plants[1]. Here combined power plant form is two or more same or not the same type engine combine used or trade off. The combined power plant can not only supply total power for ships when cruising, but also be more economical. So this plant is used widely. This paper designs a multi-module experiment-rig and introduces its composition, working principle and disposition scheme, and designed survey and control System. The micro experiment-rig control system introduced SIMATIC S 7-400 of Siemens Inc. This system can simple the structure and reduce much interface assembly. The bounds of master and industrial controller, continuous and logical system, concentrated and distributed system can be overcome. The surveillance system used the S7-300 PLC of Siemens Inc. This system can analyze and process the data, display by the Real-time report forms, the curves of changed trend, and dynamic menu. Then surveillance and analytic report was created. So the surveillance system of micro experiment-rig supplied data platform for analyzing the running characteristic combined power plant.
