There has been substantial research undertaken on the tool-path definition for SPIF by using CAM package or Matlab script. However, the coordinate points from Matlab must get changed to G-code to introduce in the CNC mill. Previous studies on SPIF have not dealt with the conversion of Matlab script into G-code. The application of compressed sensing (CS) to biomedical imaging is sensational since it permits a rationally accurate reconstruction of images by exploiting the image sparsity. The quality of CS reconstruction methods largely depends on the use of various sparsifying transforms, such as wavelets, curvelets or total variation (TV), to recover MR images. As per recently developed mathematical concepts of CS, the biomedical images with sparse representation can be recovered from randomly undersampled data, provided that an appropriate nonlinear recovery method is used. Abstract:
In real-world scenarios, detecting out-of-distribution (OOD) action is important when deploying a deep learning-based human action recognition (HAR) model. However, HAR models are easily biased to static information in the video (e.g., background), which can lead to performance degradation of OOD detection methods. In this paper, we propose a simple debiasing framework for out-of-distribution detection in human action recognition. Specifically, our framework eliminates patches with static bias in video using attention maps extracted from the video vision transformer model. Experimental results

This paper deals with analysis of the OC4 DeepCWind semi-submersible wind turbine, which is provided by NREL through the OC4 project. This concept is a three-column semi-submersible supporting a 5 MW wind turbine on an additional central column. The fact that the semi-submersible floater needs a large water line restoring moment to achieve sufficient stability and the control of the cost based on the steel weight make the design of braces and pontoons very challenging. Effective methods are needed to check the strength of the brace system based on the response forces and moments in the braces

Tandem offloading safety between FPSO and shuttle tanker is under concern. A few collisions between the two vessels have happened in the North Sea in recent years. In these incidents, excessive relative motions (termed as surging and yawing in this paper) between FPSO and tanker are identified as “failure prone situations” which have contributed to the initiation of most collision incidents. To quantitatively assess the probability of surging and yawing events, and more importantly, to effectively reduce their occurrence in tandem offloading operation, we present a simulation-based approach in

Results show a general (although not uniform) bias in teachers' actions that resulted in less attention to female students. Gender bias had an even greater effect in classrooms where the teachers had worse interactions with students. Results show that less effective teachers (according to the Classroom Assessment Scoring System, or CLASS) show a larger gender bias. Greater gender bias is also correlated with low
