Literature available on Honegger’s Cello Concerto suggests this concerto is often considered as a composition that resonates with Les Six traditions. The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the area of model complexity and see what precautions could be made to avoid the generation of complex models. These findings included five principles stated by M. Pidd which were implemented in the development of a new Simulink real world model of a heavy duty vehicle.
