Abstract:
This paper investigates communication in its bilingual expression as a factor enhancing subjective convergence of real and virtual spaces by the sign system. The aim of the investigation is to analyze language and speech which both, under global bilingual conditions, are influenced by cross-linguistic interference and facilitate in their interaction the mechanism of coding those new concepts of reality that arise and consolidate due to the mergence of real and virtual spaces. The basic research methods used are contrastive analysis and conceptual analysis. From the practical standpoint the obt

Abstract:
The article regards gender and age subjectivity as a genre identifier of festive game texts in Ukrainian folklore. Drawing on the previous theoretical studies of the issue, the researchers introduce into folklore discourse little-known data that highlight the prerequisites for the transition of ritual folklore into the realm of cultural game practices. The article objectifies Arnold van Gennep's three-level structure of the rite of passage and studies Ukrainian ritual folklore, which proves that entering a festive event, going through its climax and returning to the profane everyday chronotope

The article is devoted to the significance of the irrational in education processes and to the role of teacher as an actor of psychological influence on the formation of child’s personality. Unfortunately, teacher education programs at universities do not properly introduce to the students all the aspects (including unconscious ones) of the interaction between people, in particular in the “teacher – student” system. At the same time, in the pedagogical literature there are no special works related to this issue. Psychological theories and methods of education, which are designed to form and de

Abstract:
The article analyses the peculiarities of the discourse of loneliness in its connection with the categories of time and space in Christopher Isherwood’s A Single Man (1964). The relevance of the research is conditioned by the general tendency to revise the canon of modernist literature with a special focus on its ‘minor’ voices. Neither the novel chosen as the object of research nor Isherwood’s literary heritage in general is sufficiently represented in Ukrainian studies of Anglo-American literature. The purpose of the study is to identify and characterize the main forms through which the disc

The article critically examines the philosophy of neoliberalism. The author finds a wide destructive potential of neoliberalism for society and the state. The privatization promoted by the neoliberal ideology, the withdrawal of the state from the economic and social spheres, the rejection of protectionism have a negative impact on the development of the economy and on the standard of living of society. The economic freedom exalted by liberal philosophy makes it possible for speculative activity to develop. Ethical foundations are undermined by the substitution of personal responsibility for so

Abstract:
Yerevan underwent a process of radical transformation in the post-Soviet period and in particular since 2000. Many large residential and commercial buildings were built on the city plan designed by Tamanian in the twenties. Yerevan's urban redevelopment has not been painless and without consequences: many buildings have been demolished, residents evicted, and rules that suggest an extractive development have been created. Moreover, the attempt to root urban growth in history has given rise to a progressive simulacrization of the city.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the problems associated with the upbringing of a personality in the modern educational environment. Paradigmatically, the study is based on the principle of dividing educational technologies into effective and ineffective. With regard to the latter, the term "simulacrum" is used, which is found in the Latin translations of Plato as an analogue of the word "ειδωλον". Digital technologies used in the educational environment can then and only then contribute to personal development when they connect students with the history of their own country, sometimes contradictory, but
