Although cloth simulation is not new in computer graphics, high level of details of cloth in video games is rare and mostly coarse due to complex and nonlinear physical properties of cloth, which requires substantial computing power necessary to simulate it in real-time. This paper presents a robust and scalable real-time cloth simulation framework by exploring a variety of modern simulation techniques to produce realistic cloth simulation fo

This thesis is a summary of all the work that has been done by me during my B-Tech final year project work. The main purpose was to provide an implementable design scenario for underground coal mines using wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The main reason being that given the intricacies in the physical structure of a coal mine, only low power WSN nodes can produce accurate surveillance and accident detection data. The work mainly concentrated on designing and simulating various alternate scenarios for a typical mine and comparing them based on the obtained results to arrive at a final design.

The simulator involved acoustic propagation through the water medium, seabed scattering and towfish motion characteristics. Synthetic images are obtained by applying the bistatic scattering model. The seabed is generated using the fractal theory and the terrain is represented as a random fractal terrain. The outcome of the simulator has two aspects: the synthetic side-scan sona

For optimizing the PID parameters, we construct the mathematic model of the Stewart platform and adopt the Predict Squares Error as the performance measure. For observing the dynamic behavior of our designed hydraulic Stewart platform, we adopt the MATLAB/Simulink software package to set up the Stewart platform model.
