Abstract:
This research work aims to explore out the perceptions of Sindhi intelligentsia related to English language learning. English in Pakistan is given much significance and considered as gateway to success. In the private sector schools, English is used as a medium of instruction from Nursery, KG and onwards. The widespread use of English in Pakistan is considered as linguistic imperialism and exploitation of the regional languages. Sindhi is believed to be one of the oldest languages. The British authorities during their reign in Sindh promoted Sindhi language and culture. In order to ease difficulties in Sindhi writing, the British government established a committee to design an appropriate Sindhi script, because previously, it was written in the different scripts. Above all, Sindhi was also designated as an official language of Sindh province. The data of this study was collected through semi- structured interviews. The findings of this study reveal that Sindhi intelligentsia is well- aware of the utilitarian value of English. They also believe that proficiency over English language can help promote their culture and literature across the globe. This study further, reveals that Sindhi intelligentsia has positive attitude towards English language, but they also want to preserve their own language and cultural identity.

Abstract:
Due to COVID-19 and the repeated imposition of lockdowns in Pakistan’s Sindh province, the life of senior citizens has become challenging. Given the scarcity of health care policies targeted at Sindh’s aged persons, the use of folk literature as therapy has increased to support against isolation, depression, and distress caused by COVID-19 and lockdowns. Although research on healthy ageing from medical and health care perspectives has been increasingly conducted in different contexts, there is a need to explore how folk literature can contribute to psychological, spiritual, and social wellbeing. Therefore, this research, conducted by collecting data from 15 aged participants through interviews and conversations, seeks to explore how senior Sindhis have used folk literature such as poetry, proverbs, and tales as therapy for their healing. Findings show that the participants’ use of Sindhi folk literature contributes to their psychological (eudemonic, evaluative, and hedonic) wellbeing, spiritual healing, and social satisfaction.

Abstract:
This paper is an attempt to understand the appropriation of spaces of Dalits by Sindhi progressive activists and short story writers in Pakistan as they construct, or rather undermine, caste at the anvil of religion and gender to reframe their own theo-political agenda premised on political Sufism or Sufi nationalism. I specifically discuss the narratives emergent of the three popular short stories that are reframed as having exceptional emancipatory potential for the Dalits. Assessing the emancipatory limits of the Sindhi progressive narrative, I argue that while the short stories purport to give fuller expression to religious, gender-based, and class dimensions of the problem, it elides the problem of casteism and the subsequent existential demand of Dalit emancipation. Given the hegemonic influence of local Ashrafia class, the internal caste frictions are glossed over through political Sufism or Sindhi nationalism. This gloss of politicized Sufism hampers Dalit agency and rather facilitates the appropriation of Dalit spaces by the Ashrafia class. This leads to the conclusion that the seemingly progressive literary-political narratives framed in theo-political idiom may offer to the oppressed no more than token sympathy, compassion, self-pity, and false pride in legends. Instead, they allow the appropriation of spaces and events of the oppressed, and the objectification of oppressed bodies by the oppressor.

Abstract:

This essay examines the love affair between the two main characters of Rut Hillarp’s novel Sindhia. It draws attention to the schism between the Surrealist version of love as an extatic-religious fusion of the sexes – that in a way marks the relationship – and the yet remarkable coolness between the two lovers.

With the theories of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, I will show how the man and the woman project their unrealistic individual fantasies on each other, thus rendering impossible the Surrealist Meeting, with its road to an absolute reality. The Surrealist "l’amour fou", I will argue, is trapped in the ritualized "l’amor interruptus"; a lacanian term for a certain kind of love that wishes to conceal the fact that desire will never find its object. It does so by pretending that the object would be found if only love had been consummated (thus the reason love is never consummated, since, as Lacan puts it, the object, or the Thing, is never to be found).

I will, in brief, argue that the love affair depicted in the novel in different ways tries to deal with the “lack-of-being” that marks the subject according to Lacan; the absolute distance to the desirable Thing.

This study was focused in the work Vidas Secas (2006), and the object of our research is the character Sinha Vitória. Our proposal seeks, in a way, supply in the fortune criticism of the novel, the absence of studies that bring into focus the feminine character in greater depth, to open a new perspective on reflexive Sinha Vitória and her transforming function in the course of the narrative. For that, we starting with these questions: how can we say that Sinha Vitória is the one who lives the internal world of the other characters, leading and giving force to them? In what way her projective look and her progressive language acquisition (starting at guttural sounds to a real articulated speech) are the responsables for her capacity in lead all the family? What is the real meaning of this feminine character in Vidas Secas? So, our hypothesis is that Sinha Vitória is structured under a principle in which their dialogical self awareness is defined by otherness, dialog with its own conscience and the other characters, especially with Fabiano; and that is she who provides in the work a liberating action of the cycle of drought, by means of self awareness founded on two pillars: the eye projective-imaginative and speech, whose transformation of guttural sounds until the speech articulated. This feminine character is, in our point of view, the strengh who moves this research, whose purpose is to understand the roots of a character built under the principle dialogical that is founded on the "look" and the "say". The theoretical foundations focused on several conceptions about the look contained in the work O Olhar (1998), organized by Adauto Novaes, and in Bakhtin´s theories about the dialogism and indirect free speech, specially in his works Marxismo e Filosofia da Linguagem (1999) and Questões de Literatura e de Estética (1998). This study presents Sinha Vitória´s projective look, whose strengh is able to make, in the speech, other new dialogical spaces

Abstract:
For a literary critic preparing a scholarly edition of a text like this within an epistème that disparages the theory underpinning it for being tainted with the gestural idealism of 1968 and the neon-glare of 1980s high postmodernism, the crucial question is how to reconcile the commitment to authenticity ingrained in historicist textual studies (perhaps the critic’s only viable disciplinary inheritance) with the author’s implicit antagonism to any such quietist approach. The encounter inevitably becomes a battle of wills. In the course of the current project, this theoretical struggle escalates exponentially as doubts concerning the authenticity (and indeed the existence) of both writer and manuscript are multiplied. If a thesis can be retrospectively extrapolated from this project, it is the argument that fiction is demonstrably a tractable forum for research in the Arts and Social Sciences: all the more tractable for its anti-authenticity. The critic’s loss is the novelist’s gain. Specifically, in this case, the faithful historian of late twentieth century literatures, languages and cultures can solve the key dilemma of the subject by working under the auspices of Creative Writing. Only in this way can justice be done to the most cogent intellectual trend of the posmodern period (perhaps its defining feature): one that revelled in its own pluralities, ambiguities and contradictions, and resisted all the unifying, teleological models of ‘history’ that had been implicated in the century’s terrible ‘final solutions’. In other words, only fiction can tell the history of a culture that rejects that history. If this means condoning forgery… so be it.

Abstract:
This thesis is a study of representations of disability in a selection of Anglophone Indian literature written between 1981 and 2006. In this thesis, I argue that, in fiction by Salman Rushdie, Rohinton Mistry, Indra Sinha, and Firdaus Kanga, disability often takes on positive symbolic value as it represents the potential for the postcolonial polis to survive and thrive, but that the ultimate death or medical normalisation of disabled characters in many of these narratives is tied to a loss of political optimism. While these texts in many instances disturb norms surrounding able-bodiedness and disability, they often ultimately narrate a pessimistic conformity to scripts of normalization, and in so doing, map the unjust triumph of a prescriptive national or international politics onto a prescriptive politics of the body. As disability is eliminated, so is the potential for resistance to latent colonial or hegemonic forms. On the other hand, those fictions that narrate a sustainable disabled presence suggest the potential for the community or nation to emerge from oppressive social structures unscathed. I focus on applying literary disability scholarship to Indian novels which demand scrutiny through a disability studies lens, given their dependence upon the disabled body as a metaphoric object and the continuities in their disability representation and the representation of history. While the focus of my work is upon the nuances of disability representation as it is used to parallel the rise (and sometimes fall) of political optimism in these examples of Anglophone Indian literature, I also read toward an understanding of how the postcolonial perspective of these fictions may inflect and complicate disability representations, and investigate Western notions of normalcy as they are represented as intruding upon this literature and as disciplining the body in these texts. This disciplining is further explored through an ancillary reading of how medical apparatus and infrastructure, such as hospitals, ambulances, and especially doctors, are represented in this group of novels, as it is often in conjunction with the medical establishment that disabled characters are subjected to (neo) colonial violence. In the first chapter, which takes the form of a critical introduction, I discuss the terms of my argument within the development of disability studies, and position myself within the debates and concerns of literary disability studies in particular. I consider the antecedents and development of what is now called the cultural model of disability, and discuss how literary disability scholarship, which began its development with a focus on Western texts and contexts, has begun to extend its range of inquiry to become global in scope. I consider examples of the interplay of contemporary Indian history with biopolitical ideals and the paradigm of normalcy as it has been articulated by Lennard Davis and his intellectual predecessors including Canguillheim and Foucault. In the second chapter, which is entitled "The Medical and the Monstrous: Disability in Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children, Shame, and The Moor's Last Sigh," I consider how the disabled body is created as an object of competition in an ideological agon between a violent, globalized modernity and a sometimes-idealized fictive past. While Rushdie often represents the disabled body in a very simplified and rather bigoted register, he also to some extent engages with the more complex potentialities of disability to represent the failure of the state. The normalizing perpetration of a Westernized medical apparatus against disabled people becomes the proof and of political disintegration and the dissolution of hope for the emergent nation, whether in Rushdie's fictional version of India or Pakistan. In the third chapter, "Disability and the Realization of Metaphor in Rohinton Mistry's Such a Long Journey and A Fine Balance," I consider Rohinton Mistry's disability representations in relation to his engagement with the tradition of European realism. While Mistry attempts to re-locate the normal type articulated by the European novel, and subverts the conventions of European fiction even as he employs them, he still depends upon a largely uncontested tradition of disability representation. While he re-locates the norm in many demographic respects, he does not fully manage to rescue disability from an ancillary and symbolic role in the fiction. Mistry uses disabled characters symbolically to imagine political upheaval from a disadvantaged and sometimes from a subaltern position, creating in disabled characters their symbolic correlates. In my fourth chapter, "Collective Disability and the Dis-located Norm in Indra Sinha's Animal's People," I consider the ways in which this novel effaces paradigms of normalcy by imagining an environment in which disability is the unifying commonality of community life. While Mistry and Rushdie ultimately write disability as narrative anomaly in the ways described by Mitchell and Snyder, Sinha inverts the paradigm of the anomalous body in his fictional representation of the Bhopal disaster. The failure of the Indian state to protect its citizenry results in collective disability identification, while those able-bodied individuals who might be treated as normal in another fiction become suspicious outsiders. In my fifth chapter, "Unaccommodating Fictions: Disability, Authorship, and the Politics of Failure in Firdaus Kanga's Trying to Grow," I consider the ways in which gay, disabled, Parsi writer Firdaus Kanga represents failure and dependency as character weakness. Kanga validates neoliberal competition by re-imagining the potential for economic and social attainment as properties of mind at the exclusion of the body, and, in so doing, inaugurates an adaption of paradigms of normalcy. Kanga's imaginary valorises the economically competitive individual, but simply removes the constraint of bodily normalcy from this ideal marketable man. For Kanga, economic freedom from parental, societal, or governmental intervention is edifying, as masculinity is achieved through uninhibited competition. In my conclusion, "Good Doctors and Bad Doctors in Rushdie, Mistry, Sinha, and Kanga," I consider the representation of the clinic and of physicians in addition to the representation of disabled people in the novels included in this thesis. Doctors and medical apparatus become symbolic correlates for different political impositions and political strategies, often representing the abuses and failures of government or of public policy. I will frame my discussion within Foucault's concept of the clinic, and will consider the ways in which traditional and Western medicine take on symbolic meaning in these fictions of India.

Abstract:
This work aims, inspired by the Antonio Candido’s masterpiece, Formação da literatura brasileira: momentos decisivos, 1750-1880, to drawn an arc of urban popular song formation in Brazil, always considering the instances of author, audience and work of art as evidences of an urban song system. I´ve chose as landmarks, to investigate the existence and the power of these evidences, the works of four important songwriters, namely, Catulo da Paixão Cearense, Donga, Sinhô and Noel Rosa. For this, I´ve studied their contexts to comprehend how the authorship notion behaved in the popular song field, I´ve inquired about the ways of divulgation and technologies existents at that time to measure how much audience they could count for their creations and, by the Luiz Tatit’s analysis model and propositions, I´ve examined if the popular song language was stabilized and may be used how currency exchanged and bond between authors and audience.

Abstract:
Abstract Data driven model identification methods have grown increasingly popular due to enhancements in measuring devices and data mining. They provide a useful approach for comparing the performance of a device to the simplified model that was used in the design phase. One of the modern, popular methods for model identification is Sparse Identification of Nonlinear Dynamics (SINDy). Although this approach has been widely investigated in the literature using mostly numerical models, its applicability and performance with physical systems is still a topic of current research. In this paper we extend SINDy to identify the mathematical model of a complicated physical experiment of a chaotic pendulum with a varying potential interaction. We also test the approach using a simulated model of a nonlinear, simple pendulum. The input to the approach is a time series, and estimates of its derivatives. While the standard approach in SINDy is to use the Total Variation Regularization (TVR) for derivative estimates, we show some caveats for using this route, and we benchmark the performance of TVR against other methods for derivative estimation. Our results show that the estimated model coefficients and their resulting fit are sensitive to the selection of the TVR parameters, and that most of the available derivative estimation methods are easier to tune than TVR. We also highlight other guidelines for utilizing SINDy to avoid overfitting, and we point out that the fitted model may not yield accurate results over long time scales. We test the performance of each method for noisy data sets and provide both experimental and simulation results. We also post the files needed to build and reproduce our experiment in a public repository.

Abstract:
Abstract Typically continuum damage mechanics (CDM) based constitutive models are applied deterministically where the uncertainty of experiments is not considered. This is also true for the Sine-hyperbolic (Sinh) CDM-based constitutive model where the model is calibrated to represent 50% reliability of creep data. There is a need to implement Sinh in a more stochastic manner. The objectives of this study is to incorporate the probabilistic feature in the Sinh creep damage model to reliably predict the minimum-creep-strain-rate, creep-rupture and creep deformation. This will be achieved using Monte-Carlo methods. Creep deformation data for 304 Stainless Steel is collected from literature consisting of tests conducted at 300 and 320 MPa at 600°C with five replicates. The replicate tests exhibited substantial scatter in the minimum-creep-strain-rate, stress-rupture, and overall creep deformation. Subsequently, upon calibration using the Sinh model, the material constants among the replicates varied. The trends of uncertainty carried by each material constant are studied. The interdependence of the material constants is evaluated to determine if the uncertainty carried by each material constant can be regressed using a co-dependence function. The Monte Carlo method was applied to determine the extent that the creep deformation curve varies taking into consideration the variability of the material constants. Monte Carlo simulations show that the predicted creep deformation persists within the bounds of the experimental data. A large number of Monte Carlo simulations using the Sinh model enabled the creation of credible reliability bands for the minimum-creep-strain-rate, stress-rupture, and creep deformation of 304 Stainless Steel. In future work, this statistical method will be applied to the variability of service conditions, pre-existing defects, and material constants to quantitatively establish the reliability of the Sinh model in simulating component-level creep deformation to rupture.

Abstract: The research paper talks about the exploration of women's empowerment through sports as a tool in India. It addresses the various problems that sportswomen in India face: lack of media representation, visibility, recognition, funding, opportunities, and gender inequality. It uses the method of literature review to analyze the empowerment of women through sports through four themes in the form of a thematic analysis: breaking gender stereotypes, economic empowerment, media representation and visibility, and health and well-being. The paper discusses the advantages of women in sport and the benefits of sport in general. Previous findings by UN Women and the IOC show that there was a large percentage increase in women considering themselves leaders after a sports programme held to empower women. The results of this research paper show that there is clear evidence that there has been a step forward in terms of women’s participation in sports. Due to positive social and cultural change to reduce gender inequality, more women can now become athletes. Also, recent scholarship programmes and financial aid are great ways of boosting the development of women through sports. Additionally, sport provides athletes with the determination to keep going, resilience to never back down, and mental strength to show that they are strong and capable. Sportspeople like P.V. Sindhu, Deepika Kumari, and Mithali Raj have worked extremely hard to become visible, gain recognition, make their country proud, and do economically well for themselves. Through this research paper, sport as a tool for women's empowerment was explored. Keywords: Women empowerment, gender inequality, leadership, women in sport

Abstract:
A CFD investigation of a single row of round inclined film cooling holes in a crossflow has been carried out with the view of investigating the discrepancies in the literature between predicted and measured results. The experimental results of Sinha et al. [1], Kohli et al. [40], Pedersen et al. [3] and others form the data base for validation of the CFD prediction of film cooling. Previous work in the literature is reviewed to show that CFD has had difficulty in obtaining agreement with these basic experimental film cooling results. However, most previous work has used tetrahedral meshes which gave poor agreement with experiments in the near hole region. In the present work it is shown by direct comparison of tetrahedral and hexahedral meshes, using the FLUENT code, with the same turbulence models, that only hexahedral meshes give good agreement with the experimental results in the near hole region. It is postulated that the reason is that the mesh structure is aligned with the flow and has more computational nodes in the important film cooling boundary layer. The hexahedral mesh was used with five turbulence models, which showed the standard k-epsilon model consistently gave the best agreement with experimental data for narrow angle film cooling. This CFD methodology was shown to be capable of predicting the influence on film cooling effectiveness of trench hole and larger diameter outlet hole geometries.

Abstract:
The MPC Omega and Theta models for creep deformation and life prediction have become popular in recent years. Both models offer better prediction than classical constitutive models such as Norton Power law, Bailey-Norton law, and Norton-Soderberg law to name a few. The Omega model uses a strain hardening approach and requires two material constants for creep deformation and life prediction. An analytical solution to the constants are available and it is easy to manipulate and implement numerically. However, the analytical damage of the Omega model predicts an unrealistic linear damage evolution. The Theta model uses a time-hardening approach, and requires four constant that are a function of stress and temperature. For materials under isothermal conditions, with tertiary creep dominant deformation, the Theta model constants can be determined using only two constants. Life prediction using the Theta and Omega models depends on the final creep strain. The final creep strain observed in an experiment is stochastic; dependent on the material, testing conditions, and operator. The statistics of final creep strain must be investigated before the Theta or Omega models can be applied. In literature, some authors add a nonlinear damage variable to the Theta model; however, critical damage at rupture is not unity violating the assumptions of continuum damage mechanics. There is a superior Sin-hyperbolic continuum damage model available in the literature that can be used to overcome these problems. It is hypothesized that a functional relationships exist between the three models and these relationships can be exploited to achieve more accurate and easy to implement creep deformation and life predictions. In this study, the relationships between the constants of MPC Omega, Theta, and a Sin-hyperbolic CDM models are determined analytically. The sin-hyperbolic model incorporates a continuum damage variable in the creep strain rate equation. The damage function exhibits a more realistic elliptical path and is constructed such that damage is always unity at rupture. This function facilitates conversion of one models’ constants to the constants of the other two. The relationships between the constants are identified, while maintaining dimensional homogeneity. Using the derived relationships, the three models can be easily compared and the disadvantages of each respective model can be avoided. Experimental data at four different configurations of stress (6.3 to 36.5 ksi) and temperature (1200 to 1800°F) (sixteen data sets) for Hastelloy X is used to compare the models. Creep rupture data at seven temperature levels (600 to 1000°C) and a wide stress range (5 to 500 MPa) is used to analyze life prediction. The constants for each model are determined. Using one models’ constants and the derived relationships; the predictions of the other two models are generated. It is observed that the relationship generated curves agree with experimental data. Finally, it is demonstrated that using the derived relationships, the most useful aspects of each model can combined. An elliptical damage evolution curve is obtained for the Omega model. The final creep strain rate dependency problem of the Theta model can be avoided. It is observed that the Sinh model becomes more flexible and easy to implement.

Abstract:
Abstract Time-dependent creep induced failure is a major concern for structural components (i.e. IGT components, Gen IV nuclear reactor components) operating at elevated temperature. The likelihood of a failure is aggravated by randomness in several sources of uncertainty. Creep rupture data shows expanding scatter bands for long-duration creep tests where uncertainty can span multiple logarithmic decades of life. This experimental uncertainty is exacerbated by the uncertainties that exist during service. The continuum damage mechanics (CDM) based creep-damage model readily available in literature does not consider the uncertainty effect while predicting the long-term reliability of the components; rather the problem is tackled deterministically. Introduction of probabilistic phenomena into the existing model to predict the minimum-creep-strain-rate (MCSR) and stress-rupture (SR) would present a pathway for estimation of effect of uncertainty ensuing high reliability in the assessment. The objective of this paper is to develop a probabilistic model for MCSR and SR that is capable of predicting experimental uncertainty and extrapolating the expanded scatter bands observed in long-duration creep data. The Sine-hyperbolic (Sinh) CDM model is selected. Multi-isotherm MCSR and SR data for 304 (18Cr-8Ni) and 316 (18Cr-12Ni-Mo) stainless steel are gathered from the NIMS material database. A deterministic calibration is performed where the optimal material constants are obtained with no initial damage and perfect loading conditions. Probabilistic calibration begins with adding ASTM-specified temperature and stress tolerances (± X°C, ±Y% MPa) to capture a portion of the experimental uncertainty. The initial damage tolerances is then calibrated to capture the remaining uncertainty in the data. Probability distribution functions (pdfs) are assigned to each uncertainty parameter. Monte Carlo simulations are performed over a range of stress and temperature. The probabilistic Sinh model is shown to predict the expanding scatter band observed in long-term MCSR and SR data. Parametric simulations are performed where service condition uncertainty is added to the probabilistic model. It is determined that service condition uncertainties further degrade the creep resistance of a material.

Abstract:
The article analyzes some of the literary texts of modern German literature with an intercultural potential in the modern literary context of Germany and the question whether they are relevant to the development of an intercultural competence in foreign language teaching. Theoretical aspects of the appropriation and extension of the intercultural competence are summarized and exemplified by the works of modern German authors. Three novels and their intercultural potential are analyzed, including: S. Kuegler „Dschungelkind“, S. Möller „Viva Polonia“ and H. Akyün „Einmal Hans mit scharfer Soße“. Various groups of characteristics and the characteristics which testify to the intercultural potential of these works, as well as the practice typology for their use in the foreign language and literature lessons, are considered.

Abstract:

Idris, Iffat. Areas and Population Groups in Pakistan Most Exposed to Combined Effects of Climate Change, Food Insecurity and COVID-19. Institute of Development Studies, March 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.19088/k4d.2021.058.

Abstract:
There are strong interlinkages between the effects of climate change and natural disasters in Pakistan, food insecurity, and exposure to COVID-19. Areas/groups at risk of one will often be at risk of the others as well, demonstrating the complexities and multifaceted nature of vulnerability, risk, and exposure. In areas exposed to natural disasters, for example, there are likely to be higher levels of food insecurity. Key geographic areas at risk of the combined effects of climate change natural disasters and food insecurity in Pakistan are Balochistan, Sindh, southern Punjab, and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). With the exception of Balochistan due to its very low population density, these are all also regions at high risk of COVID-19. Key population groups, especially at risk, are the poor and landless, and women. The poor, in particular, lack the capacity to adapt or recover from climate change impacts and natural disasters, face difficulties in accessing adequate food, and often live/work in conditions that promote transmission of COVID-19. This rapid review looks at areas and population groups in Pakistan most exposed to the combined effects of climate change and natural disasters, food insecurity and malnutrition, and COVID-19. The review draws on a mixture of academic and grey literature, including reports by development organisations. While considerable information was found about the diverse effects of climate change and natural disasters on different parts of the country (including down to district level), data on food insecurity was largely only at the provincial level. There are also significant gaps in the evidence base on specific population groups, notably religious minorities.

Abstract:
Gutes wissenschaftliches Arbeiten: Wieso? Weshalb? Warum?

Abstract:
Since February 2021, countless lives have been lost in India, which has compounded the social and economic devastation caused by the second wave of COVID-19. The sharp surge in cases across the country overwhelmed the health infrastructure, with people left scrambling for hospital beds, critical drugs, and oxygen. As of May 2021, infections began to come down in urban areas. However, the effects of the second wave continued to be felt in rural areas. This is the worst humanitarian and public health crisis the country has witnessed since independence; while the continued spread of COVID-19 variants will have regional and global implications. With a slow vaccine rollout and overwhelmed health infrastructure, there is a critical need to examine India's response and recommend measures to further arrest the current spread of infection and to prevent and prepare against future waves. This brief is a rapid social science review and analysis of the second wave of COVID-19 in India. It draws on emerging reports, literature, and regional social science expertise to examine reasons for the second wave, explain its impact, and highlight the systemic issues that hindered the response. This brief puts forth vital considerations for local and national government, civil society, and humanitarian actors at global and national levels, with implications for future waves of COVID-19 in low- and middle-income countries. This review is part of the Social Science in Humanitarian Action Platform (SSHAP) series on the COVID-19 response in India. It was developed for SSHAP by Mihir R. Bhatt (AIDMI), Shilpi Srivastava (IDS), Megan Schmidt-Sane (IDS), and Lyla Mehta (IDS) with input and reviews from Deepak Sanan (Former Civil Servant; Senior Visiting Fellow, Centre for Policy Research), Subir Sinha (SOAS), Murad Banaji (Middlesex University London), Delhi Rose Angom (Oxfam India), Olivia Tulloch (Anthrologica) and Santiago Ripoll (IDS). It is the responsibility of SSHAP.

Wagner, Isabella. Programmmanagement und Kommunikation in der missions-orientierten Forschungsförderung. Am Beispiel "Stadt der Zukunft". BMK - Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie, Mobilität, Innovation und Technologie, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.22163/fteval.2021.624.

Abstract:

Schmid, Hansjörg, Julie Dubey, Tatiana Roveri, and Amir Sheikhzadegan. Muslimische Seelsorge in Bundesasylzentren. Vertiefte Evaluation des Pilotprojekts. Freiburg (Schweiz): Schweizerisches Zentrum für Islam und Gesellschaft (SZIG), Freiburg, 2023. http://dx.doi.org/10.51363/unifr.szigs.2023.008.

Abstract:

Abstract:
So hebt z.B.
