El síndrome de Weil es una forma grave de la enfermedad por leptospirosis. Este se caracteriza por la disfunción de múltiples órganos, entre ellos, hígado, riñón, músculos, serosas o el sistema neurológico. La presentación de pericarditis es infrecuente y trae una mortalidad muy elevada cuando no se brinda diagnóstico y tratamiento adecuado Se describe el caso de un paciente de 29 años con pericarditis, neuritis óptica (insuficiencia renal y colestasis intrahepática (síndrome de Weill).

The objective of this work is to understand the phenomenon of Burnout Syndrome, which is seen, in short, as a reaction to occupational stress in a chronic stage. Studies on Burnout syndrome were initiated by Herbert J. Freudenberger, an American psychoanalyst who, in the 1970s, used the term to address physical and mental exhaustion, as well as behavioral disorders in health professionals. This intervention is justified by the fact that in society and, above all, in companies, it has become an essential concern for physical and mental health, as well as a highly competitive factor, since the employee who is satisfied and motivated in his work, in addition to performing its tasks in the best way and with positive results, it can also generate profits for the company, since the employee who spontaneously discloses the services provided and products sold in the organization attracts new customers. As partial results of our investigation, we verified that this syndrome is presented as the result of a subjective experience of a negative character, normally constituted by attitudes, cognitions, emotions and degrading behaviors, directly related to the work, the professional role and the people with whom the individual needs to relate in their organizational environment.
