Abstract The article deals with the construction of a single-channel light rangefinder. At the same time, one of the main difficulties is the presence of depolarization of light, which forms residual light at the output of the analyzer, which greatly affects the measurement accuracy. It is shown that in order to exclude residual light by compensating for depolarization, a KDP crystal plate with the possibility of rotation in a plane parallel to the optical axis is installed at the input of the demodulator. A fast-neutrons monitoring system containing the detector, preamplifier and digital multichannel analyzer is constructed, and the response to 14 MeV neutrons for the detector is measured on the K-400 neutron generator suppor

The activated clotting time (ACT) is a standard method of heparin monitoring during cardiac angioplasty and cardiac surgery. A modified ACT (ACT+) which employs a microsample blood volume (0.05 ml) and yields faster clotting time results than a conventional Hemochron ACT was evaluated and compared to the standard ACT. The ACT+, determined using a single channel general purpose analyzer (Hemochron Jr.), employs a plastic cuvette containing dried ACT reagents (kaolin-silica-phospholipid). The main aim of this work is to analyse the significance of cutting parameters on surface roughness and spindle vibrations while machining the AA6063 alloy. The turning experiments were carried out on a CNC lathe with a constant spindle speed of 1000rpm using carbide tool inserts coated with Tic. The cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut are chosen as process parameters whose values are varied in between 73.51m/min to 94.24m/min, 0.02 to 0.04 mm/rev and 0.25 to 0.45 mm respectively. For each experiment, the surface roughness parameters and the amplitude plots have been noted for analysis.

Therefore, it is hard to directly judge whether these metrics and models are still valid under a multichannel scenario. In the present study, we analyzed the single channel currents that contribute to SMOC generation in mudpuppy cardiac neurons. Hence it can act as a plausible alternative to traditional neutron detector such as gas filled and scintillation detectors. It has been observed that many factors like the choice of converter material, LLD settings and geometrical configurations have an impact on the thermal neutron detection efficiency of solid state neutron detector design.
