Abstract:
Phosphorus is an essential plant macronutrient present in the soil. Only a small portion of phosphorus in soil is taken up by plants and the rest of it becomes unavailable to plants as it is immobilized. Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms play a vital role in converting the insoluble form of phosphates to the soluble form. The present paper reports the solubilization of tricalcium phosphate, rock phosphate, single super phosphate, zinc phosphate and aluminum phosphate by Piriformospora indica with the production of organic acids as well as acid phosphatase. Application of 2 g coal gased Rhizobium culture (biofertilizer) per plant has increased the relative height growth of one year old plantation of Dalbergia sissoo by 1.5 times as against control. Almost the same height growth was obtained by the application 50 g single super phosphate alone per plant. Though interaction of coal based rhizobium culture and single super phosphate was non-significant, the best combination was 2 g coal based rhizobium biofertilizer and 75 g single super phosphate per plant. Aim: The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of combined application of rock phosphate with water soluble phosphorus fertilizers on its efficiency in relation to soil and crop production. Methodology: Rock phosphate and single super phosphate were used as supplemental source of phosphorus and applied in variable combinations at graded doses, with maize and groundnut as test crop. Lime was applied in combination with 100% SSP to analyse its effect. The composite surface (0-15 cm) soil samples were collected at critical growth stages of maize and groundnut and further analyzed

Investigations were undertaken to evaluate the effect of linseed oil cakes and phosphorus levels on the growth and biomass production of Albizia procera at Tropical Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur, M.P. The growth and biomass production parameters were influenced by the application of linseed oil cakes and single super phosphate alone or in combination with each other. The application of 40 g linseed oil cakes with 30 g ssp per seedling produced highest values for shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight, total fresh and dry weights. Height growth was maximum in combination of 40 g oil cakes

Aluminum toxicity is a major limitation to leguminous crop production in acidic soils but mineral and organic fertilizer applications could ameliorate the condition. Thus, the focus of this study was to evaluate the influence of manures on post-harvest soil fertility quality, yield and agronomic efficiencies of soybean (Glycine max). The study had six fertilizer treatments: poultry manures, rabbit manures, pig manures, sheep manures, cattle manures, single super phosphate and the control (no soil additive) laid in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with four replicates. Phosphorus (P) deficiency in soil limits crop yields and can be managed by P fertilizers. But mere applying P fertilizers alone may not be effective in justifying its bioavailability. At present global P reserves are declining in an increasing way which urges us to find out alternatives. Thus, the present work was taken to prepare phosphocompost using water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) as feedstock, termite, and normal soil as bulking agents cum decomposers and enriched with single super phosphate. Peptides play key structural and functional roles in biochemistry, pharmacology, and neurobiology, and are important probes for research in enzymology, immunology, and molecular biology. The amino acid building blocks can be among the 20 genetically encoded L-residues, or else unusual ones, and the sequences can be linear, cyclic, or branched. It follows that rapid, efficient, and reliable methodology for the chemical synthesis of these molecules is of utmost interest. A number of synthetic peptides are significant commercial or pharmaceutical products, ranging from the sweet dipeptide L-Asp-L

In this study, the tribological behavior of the Trihexyl tetradecylphosphonium-bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)phosphinate [THTDP][Phos] ionic liquid with and without single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) dispersion as a thin boundary layer was intended for investigation. However, the surface heat treatment process was not sufficient to form a thin film on the sample surfaces. Thus, in each test condition, the lubricating agents were used as external (liquid) lubricants. Specifically, [THTDP][Phos] and ([THTDP][Phos]+0.1 wt.% SWCNT) boundary film layers were applied on 6061-T6 aluminum alloy disk sam
