Sinkope atau pingsan adalah kondisi di mana seseorang tiba-tiba kehilangan kesadaran dan kekuatan tubuh secara tiba-tiba karena aliran darah ke otak berkurang, namun akan pulih secara spontan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan secara kualitatif apoke dan sinkope pada Bahasa Tae dan Bahasa Wotu. Analisis dilakukan pada 200 kosa kata Swades yang dilakukan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada Bahasa Tae dan Bahasa Wotu terdapat 7 (tujuh) buah kata yang termasuk dalam kategori apoke sdangkan pada sinkope pada Bahasa Tea dan Bahasa Wotu terdapat 4 (empat) buah kata masuk dalam kategori sinkope.

Straipsnyje analizuojami sąmonės sutrikimai klinikinėje praktikoje. Tirti 82 33 – 97 metų (vidurkis – 72,8 ± 1,5 metų) ligoniai, 47 moterys ir 35 vyrai. Visi ligoniai konsultuoti gydytojos neurologės, šio straipsnio autorės. Dažniausiai sąmonės sutrikimai buvo galvos smegenų kraujotakos sutrikimų, metabolinės-toksinės encefalopatijos atvejais. Dažna sinkopė esant įvairioms patologinėms būklėms. Galvos smegenų kraujotakos sutrikimai buvo 31(37,8%) ligoniui: galvos smegenų infarktas – 10(12,2%), praeinantis smegenų išemijos priepuolis – 4(4,9%), galvos smegenų infarkto padariniai – 12(14,6%)
