Abstract:
The article presents the project of UAV control system realized at Department of Avionics and Control Systems of Rzeszów University of Technology. The project is based on earlier experiences. In the article general structure of the onboard control system is shown as well as the structure of control station. There are described in proposed control and navigation procedures as well as human factor, failure detection and system reconfiguration. Abstract:
The research team from Control and Avionics Department of Rzeszow University of Technology (RUT) has been working on control systems for many types of flying objects for years. Experiences the team has had during their activity have helped create the control algorithms for a medium‐size flying target (MSFT). Researchers from RUT, together with the small aviation company EUROTECH, have been working on a flying target for artillery. This paper gives a generic view of the system, including airborne and on‐ground parts. But this paper mainly presents the control system that is mounted on the MSFT. The paper describes the generic conception of the control system of the flying target, including control laws used in the control system of the MSFT. Results of simulations and real flight data are also presented. Santrauka Ržešovo technologijos universiteto Valdymo ir kontroles departamento tyreju grupe keleta metu dirba su ivairi u tip u orlaivi u valdymo sistemomis. Turimas grupes patyrimas panaudotas kuriant valdymo sistemas vidutinio dydžio taikiniams. RUT tyrejai kartu su maža aviacijos imone EUROTECH dirba su skraidančiais taikiniais artilerijai. Straipsnyje pateikiama bendra sistemos apžvalga, iskaitant skrendančias ir žemeje esančias dalis. Pagrindinis demesys straipsnyje skiriamas valdymo sistemai, sumontuotai skrendančiame taikinyje. Pateikiama bendra skrendančio taikinio valdymo sistemos koncepcija, iskaitant valdymo desnius, taikomus skrendančio taikinio valdymo sistemoje. Taip pat pateikiami modeliavimo ir reali u skrydžiu rezultatai.

Abstract:
Esta investigación explora la utilización de materiales alternativos como el filamento termoplástico ABS y un moderno método de manufactura, como lo es la impresión 3D para reproducir la estructura de un instrumento medidor de revoluciones por minuto RPM de un motor aeronáutico con características de atenuación de campos electromagnéticos y supresión de ruido, similares a los instrumentos originales producidos con aluminio embutido, para lograr este propósito se emplea la ley de Gauss y el efecto de la jaula de Faraday, además mediante la combinación de plástico y fibra de vidrio se logra un sistema de paredes dobles que atenúan la propagación del sonido. Empleando el diseño e ingeniería asistidos por computador se ejecuta la simulación y validación del prototipo empleando el método de análisis por elementos finitos y análisis de compatibilidad electromagnética, finalmente los resultados de las pruebas de laboratorio y de campo permiten cuantificar las nuevas características mecánicas obtenidas. Abstract:
Mission of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) “Elang Avionik” is surveillance and aerial photographs. Therefore the flight of UAV must be stable and controlable, and first step activity is dynamic modelling and stability analisys. The problems of UAV system is disturbance, noise of sensor, MIMO and uncertainty dynamic model. For good result using the multivariable robust control, with some step research that is: (1)modeling and stability analysis, (2) design and implementation of PID control system, (3) flight dynamic parameter identification, (4) design and implementation of hardware in the loop simulation, (5) design and implementation of multivariable robust control, (6) test and evaluation of system. Simulation result show that the eigen value in longitudinal is: phugoid mode = –0,061293±0,40526i and non-oscillation mode = –6,1121±4,9253. In lateral directional is:dutch roll mode = –0,91089±5,7994i, spiral mode= –0,036563, and roll subsidence mode = –12,7181. Location of poles system on the left of imaginary axis, the means that the character of system is dynamic stable. Abstract:
Lo scopo di questa tesi è quello di fornire un approccio generico ai linguaggi di programmazione sincroni utilizzati per lo sviluppo di sistemi avionici in grado di gestire la fase del volo in crociera (flight management system) e dei sistemi digital-fly-by-wire studiando il miglioramento del processo di test con il fine di automatizzare la generazione dei dati di test e la valutazione della loro qualità, in un quadro di sistemi sincroni reattivi specifici come i linguaggi Lustre / SCADE. Nel capitolo 1 introdurremo quindi il concetto di affidabilità, focalizzandoci sul significato di questa in riferimento al software per i sistemi avionici. Nel capitolo due tratteremo il concetto di tolleranza ai guasti e quello di software n-version utilizzato nei sistemi di bordo per un rapido ripristino in caso di guasti durante il volo. Nel terzo capitolo verrà fatta una panoramica dei sistemi di controllo digitali di volo ovvero del digital fly-by-wire con un particolare riferimento al design del software dell’Airbus320. Nel quarto capitolo presenteremo alcuni dei principali linguaggi di programmazione utilizzati per lo sviluppo del software di volo ovvero del flight management system, come per esempio Lustre e Scade evidenziando le loro caratteristiche in riferimento ai sistemi avionici. Il quinto e sesto capitolo trattano le tecniche di testing del software implementato con i linguaggi sincroni come appunto Lustre. Nel settimo capitolo verrà preso in considerazione un caso studio riguardante il software che gestisce il controllo del carrello di atterraggio di un velivolo.

Abstract:
Avionics system manufacturers are currently facing the problem of developing highly-integrated systems under economic pressures. In this scenario, the empirical approach, characterized by trial and error techniques, is not adequate since the correction of design flaws is often related to expensive re-work and schedule overruns. The evolution of airborne systems toward Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) pushes the need for advanced methods that could enforce correctness of complex designs while minimizing the chances of introducing errors. Considering this problem, this work proposes a systematic conceptual design strategy based on formal methods, aiming at improving the development processes for IMA systems. The basic idea is to concentrate efforts on the construction, simulation, and formal analysis of a mathematical model for the new system at early development lifecycle phases. The proposed approach was exercised on a case study of practical avionics project in order to evaluate the drawbacks and advantages. Results suggest that this work could contribute to the aeronautics industry by offering alternative means to cope with complexity in modern avionics projects.

Abstract:
In questa tesi si espone il lavoro di progetto, implementazione e test di un modulo wireless per la determinazione di assetto di nanosatelliti. L'elaborato si sviluppa principalmente in tre parti: una su requisiti del sistema e progetto dell'architettura, una su scelta delle componenti ed implementazione, ed un'ultima parte su costruzione del sistema, scrittura del software e gestione dei dati prodotti con diverse interfacce. A seguito dei test di funzionamento si può affermare che la scelta di sviluppare un’architettura hardware basata su Arduino si è rivelata adatta agli scopi, garantendo semplicità di utilizzo, modularità e contenimento dei costi.

Abstract:
The objective of this document is to show how to create an emulation of an AFDX network with commercial switches. AFDX, is a standardized deterministic network which can be found inside big size aircrafts such as the Airbus A380 and the A350. This network is formed by End Systems and AFDX switches. The End systems are devices that send or receive data into or from the network. On the other hand, the AFDX switches are the devices which are responsible of the commutation of all the traffic. Throughout this paper we are going to map AFDX network features, using Cisco switches as AFDX switches and Linux computers as End Systems.
