The purpose of the study was to identify if the financial ratios of Jordanian industrial companies remained stable across sector and over time. The study used six financial ratios from fifty-six companies across six sectors with financial information from 2010 to 2014. A two way multivariate analysis of variance was performed to identify the stability of the ratios across the sectors and over the time. For this purpose, possible relations are tried to be determined by using bound test and ARDL method for the period 1998 Q1-2011 Q3 with quarterly data. As a result of the bound test, it is achieved that there is a long term relationship in all sectors excluding construction. Based on this finding, it is estimated the long

Abstract Improvement of business processes, increasing customer satisfaction, and reducing organizational costs are important issues that institutions deal with. In this context, six sigma methodology has been considered as a systematic approach to achieve these goals by many organizations. In recent years, non-industrial sectors, where human data are involved, have also applied this technique to improve their processes quality. For application of six sigma procedure for non-industrial issues, there are several challenges that are not encountered in the conventional implementation of Six Sigma

We evaluate the aggregate and distributional effects of climate change mitigation policies using a multi-sector equilibrium model with intersectoral input-output linkages and worker heterogeneity calibrated to different countries. The introduction of carbon taxes leads to changes in relative prices and inputs reallocation, including labor. For the United States, reaching its original Paris Agreement pledge would imply at most a 0.8% drop in output. This impact is distributed asymmetrically across sectors and individuals. The study was conducted as an exercise within the framework of the local weekly training structure (L406) for police patrol dogs in Police Region South during the winter and spring of 2022/2023. A total of 23 dog teams participated over six weeks from December 2022 to April 2023. Public procurement represents a large portion of government expenditure, more so in developing economies. Inefficiencies in public expenditures thus place a heavy burden on society. The Water and Sanitation (W&S) sector is especially vulnerable to public procurement inefficiencies due to the capital-intensive and complex nature of large-scale projects such as sewage, pipelines, and general maintenance. Recent studies have found that quality of corporate governance and transparency of water utilities as well as regulatory and supervisory agencies are key drivers of the sectors performance.
