Sleep-stage classification is essential for sleep research. Various automatic judgment programs, including deep learning algorithms using artificial intelligence (AI), have been developed, but have limitations with regard to data format compatibility, human interpretability, cost, and technical requirements. We developed a novel program called GI-SleepNet, generative adversarial network (GAN)-assisted image-based sleep staging for mice that is accurate, versatile, compact, and easy to use. This question is studied in a project focusing on sleep disorders and multi-morbidity in long-term care. In Germany, episodic interviews with 32 nursing staff members (age 24—60 years) with different qualifications addressed their views on links between residents’ daytime structure and activities and their sleep/disorders. Abstract Introduction Sleep education programs are increasingly utilized in high schools and universities to address late bedtimes and poor sleep quality in students. While these programs successfully improve sleep knowledge, they often do not change sleep behaviors (e.g., bedtimes), especially during academically demanding/stressful periods. A potential method for bridging the knowledge-behavior gap in sleep is to augment sleep education with implementation intention formation (Education+II), an established goal-fulfillment strategy. We tested this intervention in a highly demanding context:

Background: Sleep is an important phenomenon to restore the body, both physically and emotionally, providing a state of balance in the person. It has been proven that adequate sleep at night is one of the main needs of older people in order to maintain an active and healthy life; among other factors, regular physical exercise can improve the quality of sleep. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effects of a physical exercise program supplemented with vibration training on sleep quality and the use of sleep drugs in women over 65 years of age.
