Electrical insulations are one of the basic parts of electrical machinery in any sizes and characteristics. Focusing on insulating, studies on the operation of industrial-electrical machinery came to the fact that the most important part of a machine is the Stator. This fact reveals the requirement for inspection of the electrical machine insulation along with the electromagnetic tensions. Therefore with respect to insulation system improvement of stator, the HV generator can be optimized. AbstractThis paper aims to present and analyze the materials adapted to design a machine that can work with a high current density without any specific cooling system. In other words, the machine is equipped with material that supports high internal temperature, about 500°C. Candidate materials are selected and the authors indicate that inorganic insulation should be preferred for conductors and slot insulations. Tests are carried out on material selection through measurement of the turn-to-turn voltage, insulation resistances, and the parallel capacitances.

Abstract:
In this paper, electromagnetically-induced transparency (EIT) phenomena have been investigated numerically in the plasmonic waveguides composed of unsymmetrical slot shaped metal–insulator–metal (MIM) structures. By the transmission line theory and Fabry–Perot model, the formation and evolution mechanisms of plasmon-induced transparency were exactly analyzed. The analysis showed that the peak of EIT-like transmission could be changed easily according to certain rules by adjusting the geometrical parameters of the slot structures, including the coupling distances and slot depths. Abstract:
This paper reports the experimental results to evaluate in-plane shear performance of insulated concrete sandwich panel (ICSP) with glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) grid shear connectors. The variables considered in this study are the grid size (35 and 53mm) of GFRP shear connectors and the types of insulation (expanded polystyrene, EPS and extruded polystyrene with special slots, XPSS). For loading in-plane shear force to interface between inner and outer wall of ICSP system, the ICSP specimens were supported vertically at the bottom edge of the two concrete outer walls by steel blocks.

Abstract:
We measured optical time-resolved photoinduced reflectivity in La 0.82 Pb 0.18 MnO 3+δ thin film as a function of temperature. The photoinduced signal consists of initial fast relaxation on 200-300 fs scale followed by a slower relaxation on 10-100 ps timescale and extremely slow response on the ns-μs timescale. All components show distinctive changes below metal-insulator transition. Amplitudes of the faster components increase with decreasing temperature below metal-insulator transition indicating a bottleneck in the relaxation. The slow components amplitudes show distinctive peak at ~200 K
