Abstract:
An intense reddish-orange colour radiating Samarium doped Aluminium Calcium borosilicate (BSACS) glasses were synthesized with the help of the melt-quench method to analyze the photoluminescence properties using characterization methods like XRD, FT-IR, photoluminescence (PL) excitation, PL emission, and PL decay. XRD and FT-IR reveal the non-crystalline behavior along with the presence of numerous functional groups in BSACS host glass correspondingly.
