Abstract:
This research aims to propose a genetic algorithm based methodology to design optimum keyboard layout for video streaming applications designed for smart TVs. Users need to use the arrow buttons on their remote controls to type the title of the movie or the TV show they are searching for. We downloaded approximately 9 million movie and TV show titles from the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) website. After data preprocessing, we calculated the frequency of letter sequences in these titles and used genetic algorithms to determine the optimum keyboard layout that would minimize the total number of

Abstract:
There is an ongoing trend to develop inter-connected or ‘smart’ consumer goods, which either contain digital content (such as software) or use digital services for certain of their functions (as with the navigation system of a smart car). The new Digital Content Directive and Sales of Goods Directive create a legal presumption that the seller of smart goods is contractually liable not only for the tangible item and embedded digital software but also for the inter-connected digital services. However, the article shows that much room remains for party autonomy as express agreement in a sales con

Background. In the twentieth century, various technologies were introduced in education, but not all technologies were successful in the educational process. Typically, all past technologies were teacher-centered, they were tools designed to work in conjunction with traditional teaching methods, and did not attract new generations of learners rapidly moving up the digital adoption curve. And now, in the 21st century, the development of an intelligent educational system presupposes a more successful application of digital technologies. To do this, educators must turn to innovation based on stud
