Abstract:
Study purpose. Mastering the fundamentals of soccer is essential for skill development. Therefore, employing effective training techniques becomes crucial to enhance these fundamental soccer skills. This study aims to discern: (1) Variations in the impact of the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game method compared to the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game method on fundamental soccer skills; (2) Disparities in the impact of high and low VO2max levels on fundamental soccer skills; and (3) The repercussions of the interaction between the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game method and the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game method in conjunction with VO2max levels (high and low). Materials and Methods. A 2 x 2 factorial design was used for this experimental study methodology. 24 athletes, including 12 from the Sports Talent School (STS) West Sumatra football academy and 12 from the Indonesia Muda Soccer School, served as the research subjects. The Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 test is the tool used to measure VO2max. The "David Lee" competence test has been adopted as the yardstick for gauging fundamental soccer abilities. Two-way ANOVA was the method of data analysis employed, with a significance level of 0.05. Results. The study's findings are outlined as follows: (1) Indicated by a significance value of (p=0.009<0.05), there exists a disparity in the impact of training between the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game and the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game on fundamental soccer skills. With an average posttest difference of 1.69 seconds, the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game training approach proves superior to the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game method. (2) A significance value of (p=0.005<0.05) suggests a distinction in the effects of high and low VO2max levels on fundamental soccer skills. Displaying a posttest average difference of 6.23 seconds, higher VO2max levels are more advantageous than lower ones. (3) With a significance p value of 0.018<0.05, it is evident that an interaction exists among the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game, 6 vs. 6 small-sided game, and VO2max levels (high, low) concerning fundamental soccer skills. Cunclotion. based on outcomes The investigation found a strong relationship between the interaction of training techniques and VO2max on fundamental soccer playing abilities. These findings can be employed in the training of fundamental soccer game skills as a guide. Keywords: Small Sided Game, VO2max, Basic Skills, Football.

Abstract:
Previous studies focused on the comparison of soccer teaching methodologies in sports initiation have not obtained conclusive results about the best methodology. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to compare the effect of global and analytical training-learning methodologies on some technical fundamental skills in children of 8-9 and 10-11 years old in soccer initiation. The technical skills evaluated by the test battery of “The Soccer Star Challenge” were running with the ball, dribbling, heading and shooting the ball, in which the kids were evaluated, previously and after 40 sessions of training with each respective methodology. The results yield that both methodologies improved all the technical skills at the end of the training program. Moreover, both methods were effective, since no significant difference was found between them in the progress of the technical skills between the methodologies assessed. For the design of a training-learning program in soccer initiation, we suggest the use of activities that involved both models to develop all the players’ technical skills.

Importance of special coordination abilities in the shot at goal of U-12 soccer players
 ABSTRACT
Soccer is a worldwide sport, and its practice at early ages is an essential aspect. One of its fundamentals is goal shooting, which is a technical activity that involves kicking the ball into the opponent's goal. This can be done with the lower limbs, trunk, and head. This action is directly related to coordinative abilities, which are an important element in formative soccer training, and a vital part of this research. It was established as an objective to substantiate the significance of special coordination skills training in goal shooting by U-12 soccer players. The methodology was based on a theoretical review, which uses methods such as the analytical-synthetic for the processing and analysis of information, as well as the inductive-deductive method to go from the more specific (as in the goal shooting) to the more general (as in the sportsman's coordination development in the goal shooting technique). The type of research is documentary, through which an analysis of the secondary data information is established. Among the primary findings, there were some researchers who determined that coordination exercises enhance children's technique at early ages. Therefore, they improve areas such as control, stability, and goal shooting.

Abstract:
This study aimed to carry out a systematic review to analyze, describe and discuss the effect of physical fatigue on the performance of soccer players. For this systematic review, searches were performed in Pubmed, Web of Science and SPORTDiscus electronic database until October 3, 2020, following the guidelines of PRISMA. A total of 12 articles met the inclusion criteria: i) healthy soccer players from any age group, competitive level or sex; ii) exposure to physical fatigue; iii) pre and post-physical fatigue conditions; iv) players’ cognitive, technical, physical and tactical performances and v) no restrictions regarding the study design. The results section was organized in four main dimensions: cognitive, technical, physical and tactical. Studies on cognitive performance have shown divergent results, varying according to the cognitive task employed and the physical protocol used. Regarding technical performance, negative effects of physical fatigue were found on the technical fundamentals of the pass, dribble and kick. With regard to physical performance, studies have shown a reduction in sprint capacity and distances covered at high velocity. Finally, the only study that analyzed the tactical performance in the field showed an increase in the team’s collective tactical behavior, but did not include analysis of the players’ individual tactical actions. In summary, the results of the analyzed studies show that the effect of physical fatigue on cognitive performance is inconclusive and that technical and physical performance are negatively affected. Regarding tactical performance, there is a lack of information on the topic in the current literature.

The justice and the wellness, as drivers of those policies, are evaluated in the formation of justifying public interest the adoption of unusual practices in business activity and often distanced profit purpose and duty of loyalty to which these companies are subjected, because of its commercial nature. They are also the object of study the principles of economic order positivized in the 1988 Constitution, the question of the right to private property as a fundamental right and a state responsibility as principles that guide the action of governments in the capital market. In the finish, it is the company's management, the controlling shareholder and the legal status of minority shareholders. These topics deepen the corporate issue, which puts him at odds state interests (often a government) on the one hand and the interests of minority shareholders of another, creating administrative and judicial proceedings that may lead to disastrous convictions against companies controlled by State. Abstract:
The purpose of the work is to provide a cross-sectional overview of the participation and role of football federations as participants in international relations. The work ultimately aims to address various aspects at the border of sports, politics, diplomacy and economics centered around the world’s largest soccer federations. Due to the global scale of its popularity, soccer has repeatedly become a catalyst for changes in the domestic and international situation of countries. The political plane constantly influences the world of sports, especially soccer, but at the same time, soccer federations also have their share in creating the international environment. In today’s globalized society, it has become fundamental to influence public opinion and public relations in the broadest sense, as a result of which the importance of entities such as football federations has significantly increased creating opportunities for them to really influence the political situation in the world, but at the same time being a threat to their reputation and independence. The methodology of the study is a qualitative analysis of foundational sources, while the sources we used were monographs, academic and newspaper articles on the subject of sports, websites of various organizations and documents from the official websites of football federations or international organizations.

Abstract:
In games such as soccer, where the stability and the possibility of replicating game situations are complex, teams and players continually deal with a highly unstable cooperative and non-cooperative environment. Thus, synchronized cooperation among players during training sessions is a fundamental factor, which many times contributes to a team’s success. In this context, there are some specific drills that attempt to challenge and create meaningful contexts in order to simulate match situations as closely as possible. Small-sided games are play-sport situations in which all elements of the game interact together in a flexible manner. However, there are a variety of small-sided games in elite soccer, such as possession games and positional games, which may present specific characteristics and stimulate different physical-physiological demands. An adequate selection and implementation of these games may help coaches to promote positive adaptations and performance improvements. Thus, this chapter provides practical tips to modulate the physical-physiological responses and technical-tactical requirements of the players using a variety of game formats during soccer training sessions.

The movie A Beautiful Mind (2001) portrays the life and work of John F. Nash Jr., who received the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1994. A class of his theories deals with how people should behave in strategic situations that involve what are known as “mixed strategies,” that is, choosing among various possible strategies when no single one is always the best when you face a rational opponent. This chapter uses data from a specific play in soccer (a penalty kick) with professional players to provide the first complete test of a fundamental theorem in game theory: the minimax theorem. The minimax theorem can be regarded as a special case of the more general theory of Nash. It applies only to two-person, zero-sum or constant-sum games, whereas the Nash equilibrium concept can be used with any number of players and any mixture of conflict and common interest in the game.

Abstract:
I promised in Reactions 3 and 4 to lead you to the promised land of the modern understanding of oxidation and reduction reactions. This is the section where these two great chemical rivers flow together and acquire great explanatory power and wide applicability. I have already shown that one great class of reactions, those between acids and bases (Reaction 2), takes place by the transfer of one fundamental particle, the proton. I shall now show you that oxidation and reduction reactions all take place by the transfer of another fundamental particle, in this case the proton’s cousin, the electron. Don’t be put off by the thought that in this unification of two great rivers I am embarking on a highly abstract, distant-from-reality account. All I am doing is looking for and presenting the essential step that is involved in these reactions. This is a bit like looking for the core idea of many sports, which is to get a projectile to move into a particular location, be it soccer, baseball shooting, darts, archery, or billiards. I hope you will begin to appreciate in the course of this chapter that when chemists carry out their reactions by stirring, boiling, and mixing, all they are doing is encouraging fundamental particles, in this case electrons but in Reaction 2 protons, to migrate from where they are found to where the chemist wants them to be. Industry does the same coaxing on a massive scale. My aim here is to show you that everything I discussed in Reactions 3 and 4 boils down to the consequences of the transfer of electrons from one species to another. You have already caught a glimpse of that process as we stood together perilously deep inside the blast furnace in Reaction 4 and saw that O2– ions transfer electrons to Fe3+ ions to bring about the reduction of the ore to the metal. Tighten your intellectual seat belt. I intend to develop the very sparse view that oxidation is the loss of electrons and reduction is their gain. That is the austere message to take from this chapter, but I will cloak it in velvet.

Abstract:
Abstract Winky, an Asian elephant, resided in the Detroit Zoological Institute for 14 years. Wanda, on loan from the San Antonio Zoo, lived with her for eight years. Their one-acre yard was about half the area of a professional soccer field. This outdoor area included trees, toys, and a pool. Inside the barn, they had heated floors for the days when the Michigan winters made it unpleasant for them to be outside. They received food, baths, pedicures, and expert medical care. In return, Winky and Wanda had only to wander through the yard, occasionally tossing dust on their backs to protect against insects and sunburn. Suddenly, in May 2004, the Detroit Zoo announced that it would be sending Winky and Wanda away and discontinuing the elephant exhibit permanently.2 At first glance, this news was unremarkable. Several zoos had closed elephant exhibits in previous years, causing little stir outside their local areas. Some zoos had decided that maintaining elephant exhibits caused too great a financial burden. Others were persuaded to relinquish their elephants by public pressure from the media or from protesters. The Detroit Zoo’s decision, however, was indeed remarkable, because it was motivated fundamentally by moral concerns with implications for many zoos.3 According to Dr. Ron Kagan, a biologist and the director of the Detroit Zoo, “The quality of life for the [elephants] is not adequate and is different from other animals.”4 Over several years, he and his staff observed that the elephants’ health was deteriorating in ways that would not likely have occurred in the wild. Kagan believed that the Detroit Zoo lacked the facilities to care properly for elephants.

Abstract:
Abstract The most common cause of LBP in an adolescent athlete is a stress fracture of the pars interarticularis of the vertebral arch (isthmic spondylolysis). Spondylolysis can occur gradually or present acutely with low back or upper sacral area pain. Leg pain raises concerns for other conditions, such as a concurrent spondylolisthesis or disc herniation. The rate of asymptomatic pars fractures in adolescent athletes is about 10%, so a diagnosis cannot be made on plain radiographs alone. A combination of magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear imaging, and computed tomography is required. The fundamental treatment of a painful spondylolysis/pars fracture in an adolescent athlete is relative rest. As acute pars fractures have a mean healing time of over 100 days, activity should be restricted for 3 months, followed by comprehensive rehabilitation. Average time to return-to-play is 6–7 months. 85% of affected athletes return to sports, and very few require surgery.

Abstract:
A major task of sports analytics is to rank players based on the impact of their actions. Recent methods have applied reinforcement learning (RL) to assess the value of actions from a learned action value or Q-function. A fundamental challenge for estimating action values is that explicit reward signals (goals) are very sparse in many team sports, such as ice hockey and soccer. This paper combines Q-function learning with inverse reinforcement learning (IRL) to provide a novel player ranking method. We treat professional play as expert demonstrations for learning an implicit reward function. Our method alternates single-agent IRL to learn a reward function for multiple agents; we provide a theoretical justification for this procedure. Knowledge transfer is used to combine learned rewards and observed rewards from goals. Empirical evaluation, based on 4.5M play-by-play events in the National Hockey League (NHL), indicates that player ranking using the learned rewards achieves high correlations with standard success measures and temporal consistency throughout a season.

Abstract:
Musculoskeletal system is the fundamental structure that allows complex mobility of biological systems. A lot of efforts have been made in the past to mimic this structure using synthetic materials for use in robotic systems. Development challenges for this technology include design and manufacturing, system integration, control methods and energy usage. One of the key elements of musculoskeletal system is artificial muscles or actuators used in this system. Actuators presented in the literature do not match the performance of natural muscles in most of the metrics such as force generation, strain output, frequency, power density, ease of control and repeatability. This paper briefly describes the recently introduced Twisted and Coiled Polymer (TCP) muscles integrated into a ball and socket joint made of ABS plus® material. The proposed structure consists of a class of ball-and-socket joint that incorporates TCP muscles and silicone to generate multidimensional actuation. Most traditional joint-and-actuator assemblies include passive rotary joints actuated by servomotors via gears transmission. Our proposed ABS based 3D printed joint is actuated by artificial muscles without any complex mechanical transmission system. In comparison with other such assemblies, the proposed joint system is a promising solution to the diverse applications in robotics, especially where soft actuators and cost effective solutions are needed.
