Full textThe present paper aims to study the trajectorie of the protagonists of the short stories \"O attack\", by Luiz Ruffato; And \"Frontal com Fanta\" by Jorge Furtado. The main characters of the stories, when they live an experience with the unusual, are forced to deal with the most varied judgments on the part of the society, which do not seem, precisely, to contemplate the true reality lived by them. Faced with this, in the light of materialist criticism and theories of fantasy, this work aims to investigate how the protagonists\' path denounces ideological mechanisms that do not necessarily determine a collective truth, but regulate and prevail the dominant social values in each of the contexts addressed. Based on this literary analysis, the research still advances on the hypothesis that fantastic literature is not disconnected from the dialogue with reality and the representations of life in society.

Full textThis paper aims at analysing Murilo Rubiao´s fantastic universe from a perspective that takes into account the socio-historical aspects present in his narratives. In this sense, we are beginning with a quick consideration about the genre \"fantastic\" and about the specific character it assumes in the author short-stories, then we are finally focusing on some short-stories in which the formalization of local historical aspects plays a decisive role.
Pedroso, Bernadet Korzun. Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Parana, 2011. http://tede.unioeste.br:8080/tede/handle/tede/2480.
Full textThis study aims to verify how the fantastic elements and the narrative composition of Pedro Páramo (1995) are done aesthetically. We intend to reflect about the proportion that the work finishes the perspectives of contemporary latin american narrative and joins it in a social memory. The concept of fantastic used for the present study is based on Todorov (1975), which recognizes it as a time of hesitation caused in the reader as a reflection of the narrative. The inherent hesitation in the fantastic corresponds to the unfinished dialog between the rational and the nonrational, to the imbalance between reality and the supernatural, to the unbelievable reasonableness caused by the occurrence of the supernatural and its consequent questioning. In this perspective, we looked for theoretical support in the reflections proposed by the Cuban Alejo Carpentier (1954), when it comes to the wonderful realism as opposition to the wonderful proposed by surrealists. It is important to detach that, in the context of the latin american literature production, the notion of wonderful real would be a result of the cultural mix of Latin America, according to Alejo Carpentier. It is observed, in Pedro Páramo, a rupture attempt and reversal with the hierarchy and traditional aesthetics of text, as the plausible and implausible are incorporated, thus distorting ritual practices of speeches until then practiced and inaugurate a new poetic way, where minorities are convened to integrate the new discursive woof and to contribute in the deconstruction of hegemonic discourse in Latin- American context. Pedro Páramo is alongside other works responsible by the revolution in the sense of contravening the rules in the style of writing and in the form of addressing the issue of Latin American culture.

Full textThe starting-point of this study is the hypothesis that it is possible to discover, in the production of the child in a diagnostic situation, particular expressions of the unconscions structure of fantasies of its whole family group. The method used consists of analysis, within a psychoanalytical perspective, of the case - studies of four children brought to the Program of Mental Health of the G.P. Souza Health Center of the School of Public Health of the University of são Paulo. Such case - studies differ in the processes adopted, each of them making use of some of the following instruments: interviews with one or both of the parents, interviews with the children, drawings and stories and the CAT - Child Aperception Test. The point which the four children have in comrnon- which was the reason for their being selected - was the fact of their having lost one of the rnembers of their family Theloss was a datum of reality on the basis of which it was possible to perceive how each family is structured and how such structuring appears in the child\'s material. The child\'s production was considered under the double aspect of the fantasy family - the family which the child constructs for itself on the basis of its anxieties, defences and desires - and also on the farnily\'s fantasy -the structure of unconscious fantasies created by the family as a group. It is possible to see, by means-of the material how the family structure determines the thinking and feeling of the child who expresses them through a particular 11 translation\'\' (according to his/her own dynamic) of the family\'s fantasy life.

Full textThe purpose of this qualitative study was to investigate the experience of parallel cybersex contacts among people living with a partner. Interviews were conducted with six informants who lived in a partner relationship while having sexual contact with others online. Content analysis identified three main themes: parallel cybersex contacts, the internet as a format and sexual arena, as well as presentation and exploration. The empirics show benefits and costs of cybersex to the relationship with the committed partner, identification of distinctive qualities of the Internet as a context for sexual experience, and the perception of cybersex as a platform for experimentation and exploration of sexual identity and sexual activities. The findings of the study indicate that the informants felt that the cybersex contacts satisfied sexual desires that the informants did not feel were satisfied within the partner relationship.
