This article explores the problem of the formation and development of the idea of a social state. The origins of the concept of a social state as a fair political system go back to ancient times. But the emergence of the very idea of a social state, in the first place, is associated with a new understanding of the functions of the state. This approach is most important for L. von Stein, whom the authors consider as one of the founders of the concept of a social state.

Abstract:
The first professional societies in the United States, from the 1880s to the 1910s, understood history to be closely associated with the other social sciences. Endeavours to secure status of exact science for economics led to the exclusion of social and historical component from economic analysis. It is a long term process which started within classical political economy, gradually diverging the postulate upon which economic science is based from economic reality. Above mentioned changes are result of the long-term process during which holistic, social and historical aspects had been gradually removing from economic analysis. In this paper we will analyze the role of marginalism in the extrusion of social and historical from economic analysis.

Abstract:
This article approaches social media from the theory of the religio-political practice of acclamation revived by Agamben and following twentieth-century social and political thought and theology (of Weber, Peterson, Schmitt, Kantorowicz). It supplements that theory by more recent political-theoretical, historical and sociological investigations and regards acclamation as a ‘social institution’ following Mauss. Acclamation is a practice that forms publics, whether as the direct presence of the ‘people’, mass-mediated ‘public opinion’, or a ‘public mood’ decipherable through countless social med
