The relationship between the level of professional thinking and the flexibility of choosing strategies of behavior in conflict and stress is established. There are similarities between the talent pool and managers with experience in conflict and stress behavioral strategies, and differences in management motivations. The new socio-economic reality and changes in the educational environment suggest that the manager should be ready to solve new heterogeneous professional tasks, which require expanding the range of competencies and a different level of reality understanding, integrating their own psychological structures, where professional thinking will play a system-forming role. Discussion and Conclusion. The obtained results can be used in solving tasks of the Nation-wide Project “Educationˮ aimed at further training of teaching staff, and in administering the said programs of continuing education.

Abstract:
The article is aimed at researching the socio-psychological features of interaction between participants in the labor process, which are factors of conflicts in the social and labor sphere. The article considers conflict as one of the variants for the development of social relations, which arises in case of violation of their balance. It is proved that conflicts arise under the influence of a complex system of factors that have a social and psychological nature. The scholars’ views on the essence of social and psychological factors of conflict are considered. It is proved that the factors, directly related to joint activities and relationships, affecting the proneness to conflict in the staff of an organization, are: organizational culture, socio-psychological climate, leadership (which characterize the social component of interaction); socio-psychological personality traits, orientation and personality type (which characterize the psychological component of interaction). The essence of each factor is considered and its impact on the occurrence and development of conflict is determined. The consequences of both positive and negative impact of socio-psychological factors on the conflict are specified. The publication uses methods of generalization, comparison, analysis and synthesis – to understand the essence of conflict as a certain stage of social interaction, to study the socio-psychological factors of the conflict; graphical method – for clarification of data and schematic representation of the main provisions of the research. The carried out studies will contribute to the development of an efficient strategy and tactics for resolving conflicts, their faster settlement, and the use of effective mechanisms for their forecasting; a system approach to conflict management in order to prevent unconstructive conflict interactions in labor collectives will allow to take into account socio-psychological aspects of interaction between participants in the labor process.

Abstract:
Chronic daily headaches (CDH) are primarily understood from a psychophysiological formulation. A broad biopsychosocial understanding, where there is equal importance given to biological, psychological and socio-cultural factors, is underexplored in headache. Socio-cultural factors, such as gender, socio-economic factors can perpetuate and worsen the condition. For an effective and sustainable intervention, these factors need to be considered. The current study aims to explore and develop a biopsychosocial framework for headache disorders. A convergent parallel mixed methods design was used and participants were recruited from a tertiary referral care hospital, Bengaluru, India. Headache Assessment Sheet, GAD 7, HDRS, PSS and B COPE were used in the quantitative phase. The data was analysed using r software. Qualitative phase of the study, in depth interview guide was used and data analysed thematically. Quantitative phase, 38 participants were recruited. The average age, was 38.02 (±10.17), majority of the participants being females 31 (81.58%). The mean duration of illness was 8.63 (±4.73) years. The anxiety scores positively correlated with pain intensity (r = 0.50 at P ≤ .001) and the median anxiety scores varied with photophobia ( P ≤ .03). The anxiety scores correlated with PSS (r = 0.428 at P ≤ .007) and HDRS (r = 0.428 at P ≤ .007) scores. Gender variations in coping were seen, avoidant coping having higher median scores in women. ( P ≤ .08). In qualitative phase of the study, six participants were recruited. Three main themes emerged from the qualitative phase of the study: headache - an illness, headache factors and the impact. Chronic daily headaches are influenced by biological, psychological, environmental and socio-cultural factors. A bio-psychosocial framework will help to understand and develop targeted interventions.

The article presents the results of an empirical investigation of personal peculiarities of randomized groups of military personnel of volunteer battalions, mobilized servicemen and personnel, depending on the freedom of choice of risk.
The methodological basis of the study was the scientific positions and conclusions of the natural–scientific theory concerning the regularities of higher nervous activity developed by V.M. Bekhterev, M.E.Vvedensky, I.I. Pavlov, I.M. Sechenov etc., ideas and provisions concerning psychological theory of personality (B.G. Ananiev, K.K. Platonov, S.L. Rubinstein, etc.), psychological theory of activity (O.M. Leontiev, B.F. Lomov, S.D. Maksimenko, D.N. Uznadze, etc.), practical psychology and psycho diagnostics (L.F. Burlachuk, K.M. Gurevich, V.S. Kompanets, R. Lazarus, M.D. Levitov, N.I. Nayenko, G. Selye, S.I. Yakovenko, etc.), psycho corrections (P.K. Anokhin, O.A. Konopkin, K.Rudestam, O.V. Timchenko, Ye.M. Potapchuk), theoretical and practical provisions of human psychology (A. Maslow, K. Rogers, etc.), as well as theoretical principles of management of personality development in a social environment (A.F. Bondarenko, T.S.Yatsenko).
To solve the problems posed in the research, the author was selected and a number of techniques were used that included the following methods: adapted versions of tests for MMPL 16 PF (FOO), multi-level test questionnaire "Adaptability", questionnaire of general health, (GHQ-28), Personal Health Questionnaire by G. Eysenck (EPI), the method of diagnostics of character logical features G. Shmyshek - K. Leonhard, patoharakterologicheskii questionnaire A.E. Lichko, the pollster of traumatic stress under the editorship I.O. Kotenko, T. Liri (interpersonal relations), a modified social-psychological questionnaire (Joint Study Project 1993) - a "questionnaire of dangers" and socio-psychological and sociometric methods that allow to evaluate interpersonal relationships, standardized interviews, individual psycho diagnostic conversation, observation, analysis of independent characteristics.
Excel 2010 spreadsheets (MS Windows) have been used as a database structure. The statistical analysis is carried out in the program Statistica 10.0 (Stat Soft) with the help of parametric and nonparametric criteria.
The hypothesis of the study is to assume that excessively reinforced individual personality traits will most clearly be manifested by the freedom of choice of a soldier of risk and have different dynamics and mechanisms for responding to specific psychogenic influences of armed conflict.
The use of adequate psychological aids to personality disorders will significantly affect the reduction of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness on the results of professional activity and health of the staff of the armed forces.

Fagelson, Marc A. "Implementing Psychological Methods in the Management of Trauma-Associated Tinnitus." Digital Commons @ East Tennessee State University, 2017. https://dc.etsu.edu/etsu-works/1663.

Full text
Abstract:
Dr. Fagelson, (Professor Audiology, ETSU) will discuss the unusual challenges facing patients and providers when tinnitus severity is linked to traumatic exposure. Interactions between neural mechanisms associated with tinnitus, posttraumatic stress-disorder (PTSD), and traumatic memory will be reviewed with particular attention to the way and degree to which such interactions affect tinnitus and disorders of sound tolerance. Conference attendees will be provided theoretical models of emotional memory consolidation that underscore trauma‘s durable effects on a patient‘s emotional state, reaction to the tinnitus signal, and to potentially-triggering environmental sounds. The putative benefits of tinnitus counseling will be presented in the context of trauma interventions that employ well-established counseling techniques as an element of patient-centered care. Audiologists must provide trauma patients a safe environment and opportunity for dialogue that contributes to a holistic understanding of the patient‘s situation and perceptions; the ultimate goal is to employ interventions and self-assessment instruments that can be used to evaluate patient needs and progress when tinnitus is related to trauma. The potentially-exacerbating effects of comprehensive audiologic assessment will also be addressed.

Hutchison, Fiona Catherine. "Socio-cultural impacts of museums for their local communities : the case of the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter." Thesis, University of Exeter, 2013. http://hdl.handle.net/10871/14387.

Full text
Abstract:
In the English museums sector, an impetus for impact assessment stems from an internal ethos towards producing positive impacts for the public. Furthermore, as institutions largely dependent on national and local government funding, museums have increasingly been called to demonstrate their impacts to policy makers. Economic impact and valuation procedures are employed to help meet these demands. However, consideration of non-economic impacts has not kept pace. Reasons include the contested priorities in the sector, a fluctuating policy landscape and too exclusive a focus on theoretical debates rather than empirical research. Indeed, a great deal of attention and time has already been allocated to impact assessment with little accumulation of evidence at a museum-specific or national level. Accordingly, this research set out to reveal a detailed understanding of socio-cultural impacts of museums for their local communities. A thorough meta-synthesis of nineteen academic and non-academic sources, revealed the limitations of previous studies. These limitations relate to sampling, method choice, sophistication of analysis and transparency in reporting. Often, only potential impacts have amounted. The Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), in the southwest city of Exeter offered a suitable research site for this large-scale study. Drop and Collect administered household surveys ensured the elicitation of views from residents across the city. A range of statistical analysis techniques were applied to cross-sectional samples (n=435, n=384). The main contribution of this research is to demonstrate a replicable approach to eliciting views from the public regarding the impacts of their local museum. Future evaluation can follow this model which is neither focused upon economic impacts, nor arrives at a monetised valuation. Cluster Analysis proves a preferable way of grouping the public rather than traditional segmentations pertaining to socio-demographic or behavioural characteristics. Furthermore, socio-cultural impacts are effectively assessed, monitored and prioritised through Gap Analysis. Factor Analysis reveals latent constructs of Personal-fulfilment, Objects and their Surrounding Narratives, Self-actualisation, Learning and Networked Leisure drive these impacts. Therefore, this research meets the museum management challenge of finding a suitable design for assessment of impacts in relation to different communities.

Abstract:
Abstract An Examination of Linkages Between Personality, Leader-Member Exchange, and the Psychological Contract By Mark George Kunze 2005 Committee Chair: Dr. Edward Miles Major Department: Management While previous research has focused mainly on relationships between various personality variables and either leader-member exchange or psychological contract violation, none has yet to examine how these constructs are linked. A model of these proposed relationships is developed based on theory drawn from literature in the areas of social psychology, leader-member exchange, and psychological contracts. The present research used structural equation modeling to examine the strength of the relationship between the personality variables of negative affect, positive affect, self-monitoring, and trait cynicism with respect to leader-member exchange and perceptions of psychological contract violation. Positive affect and negative affect were found to significantly relate to both LMX and the perception of psychological contract violation. Trait cynicism was not significantly related to LMX and only weakly related to perceptions of psychological contract violation. It was hypothesized that LMX would partially mediate the relationships between the individual personality factors and perceptions of psychological contract violation; however, the data did not support this hypothesis. While self-monitoring was hypothesized to moderate the relationship of positive affect, negative affect, and trait cynicism with LMX, the moderating effect was found to be significant only for the negative affect/LMX relationship.

Miller, Marsha. "Relationships Between Job Design, Job Crafting, Idiosyncratic Deals, and Psychological Empowerment." ScholarWorks, 2015. https://scholarworks.waldenu.edu/dissertations/1363.

Full text
Abstract:
Although much is known about employee empowerment and work designs, numerous companies and management practitioners struggle to implement empowerment initiatives effectively because it is not known which approach best facilitates individual levels of psychological empowerment. Traditional job design theory focuses on the role of managers and portrays employees as passive grantees of empowerment. Employees may influence their own empowerment by taking an active role in work design. The primary purpose of this correlational study was to examine whether job crafting or idiosyncratic deals are more or less empowering than job design and how work locus of control influences these relationships. It was hypothesized that job crafting would be the strongest correlate with psychological empowerment. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was designed with measures adapted from existing instruments. A sample of 150 adults, drawn from various industries in the United States, completed a voluntary, online survey. Data analysis, which used Pearson correlations, revealed that job crafting had a stronger relationship with psychological empowerment than did idiosyncratic deals and management-driven job design for employees with high internal work locus of control. Findings from this study may help organizational leaders understand how employees with high internal tendencies are psychologically empowered when actively engaged in designing their own work. Employees may then feel empowered to advance the company's social agenda and make personalized contributions to the greater society, essentially becoming goodwill ambassadors for the organization.

Ellis, Kris. "Exploring Antecedents to Work Engagement and Psychological Well-Being within a Canadian Provincial Ministry." ScholarWorks, 2015. https://scholarworks.waldenu.edu/dissertations/578.

Abstract:
A gap exists in organizational development strategies on why some individuals remain disengaged with their work. This study addressed whether a combination of specific contextual factors could support individuals, teams, and leaders to demonstrate the attitudes and behaviors consistent with work engagement. The theoretical frameworks of social constructivism, the conceptual framework of symbolic interactionism, and a hermeneutic inquiry approach were used to address how individual psychological traits/abilities of employees support work engagement. Nineteen employees of a Canadian provincial government ministry completed an engagement survey, MSCEIT, MBTI, and SDI assessments. They also participated in focus groups. Survey results showed high engagement scores. Focus group themes, derived from the Modified Stevick-Colaizzi-Keen method centered on perceptions of personal choice, passive resignation, and trust. Spearman's correlation results indicated a moderate, nonsignificant association between the MSCEIT, MBTI, SDI scores, and work engagement. Study results suggested 5 factors necessary for individuals to sustain engagement: the ability to balance a focus on others and impressions with a focus on ideas and concrete data, the ability to perceive and manage emotions, motivational values consistent with a concern for others, and leader and organizational support. Results from this study are expected to increase possible social change efforts focused on developing highly engaged teams that demonstrate a positive, fulfilling work-related state characterized by high energy levels, mental resilience, dedication, and involvement in work.

Abstract:
The modern economy is characterized by a high level of dynamism of the factors of the external and internal environment of enterprises, influencing the possibility of their stable development. With the transition of the Russian economy to market methods of doing business, in which enterprise management must take into account various scenarios, risk becomes an integral element of socio-economic relations. Risk is present in all spheres of life, regardless of whether its presence is taken into account in the situation of choosing an alternative method of managing a business entity or not. The presence of risk is a significant factor in the development of business and the economy as a whole. To minimize and neutralize risks, the enterprise must constantly ensure its safety. In modern conditions, due to the pandemic and economic downturn, enterprises are forced to revise their methods of safety management and risk neutralization. This monograph, dedicated to modern problems of business security management, is the result of the joint work of teachers and students of the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law of the Don State Technical University.

Abstract:
AbstractThis chapter provides an overview of the epidemiology, pathophysiology, course, measurement, and potential therapies for pigmentation disorders in scars. Pigmentation problems are a common consequence of deep partial- and full-thickness burns, other skin trauma or disease, and surgical procedures. Both hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation can cause esthetic and psychological issues, which may influence quality of life. The role of melanocytes and the maturation of pigmentation problems are discussed. To determine the severity of pigmentation problems and for therapeutic evaluation, different subjective and objective methods have been validated. Simple and easy-to-use measurement instruments are available based on spectrophotometric techniques. Also scar assessment scales with subscales for color and pigmentation are convenient and validated methods for quantitative evaluation of skin pigment disorders. Treatment options are discussed and include camouflage therapy, topical treatments, chemical peels, laser therapy, dermatography, dermabrasion, microneedling, skin grafting, cell therapy, and excision. It is advised to first try the conservative options and to dose and monitor the treatment to prevent overshoot and complications.

Abstract:
AbstractRats are often despised. In what way does such aversion affect moral deliberation, and if so, how should we accommodate any distorting effects on our normative judgements? These questions are explored in this chapter with regard to recent proposals in (1) the ethics of pest management and (2) animal political theory. While ethical frameworks and tools used in the context of animal research can improve moral deliberation with regard to pest management, we argue based on psychological factors regarding the perception of rats that before implementing these methods in either animal research or pest management, one needs to ascertain that rats are owed genuine moral consideration. With regard to animal political theory, we identify three issues: truth-aptness, perception, and moral motivation. To complement as well as address some of the issues found in both animal research ethics and animal political theory, we explore compassion. Starting from compassion, we develop a pragmatist and interspecies understanding of morality, including a shift from an anthropocentric to a multispecies epistemology, and a distributed rather than an individual notion of moral agency. We need to engage with the experience of others, including rats and those who perceive these animals as pests, as well as pay attention to the specific way individual agents are embedded in particular socio-ecological settings so as to promote compassionate action.

Abstract:
The results of an empirical study of the socio-psychological age of female doctors of clinics that have successfully entered into the innovative format of development and clinics experiencing many years of difficulty in introducing innovations are presented. It is shown that the organizational culture of innovative clinics is characterized by a pronounced adhocratic component, and a clan-hierarchical model dominates in problematic clinics, therefore, the introduction of innovations is carried out by inconsistent administrative methods typical of this model. As a result, the personnel experiences a high level of stress, which makes them feel unwell, tired, it rejects innovations and strives to maximize the clan component of the organizational culture as a means of protection against the stress of innovative changes. The results are an «older» socio-psychological age and a low level of labour involvement, which, in general, shows the correspondence of the characteristics of the female personnel of problematic clinics to gender stereotypes. In innovative clinics, female personnel feel more alert, healthy and younger, shares, regardless of the chronological age, innovative values traditionally associated with younger ages, is personally involved in the work process and does not fall under the characteristics of gender stereotypes. It is shown that the socio-psychological age of female personnel and the value of readiness for innovation depend on the type of organizational culture. In the future, female doctors are oriented towards an innovative way of market development of their clinics, but not in the managerial paradigm that is currently being implemented by management. Successful management of the socio-psychological age and the introduction of innovation involve the abandonment of administrative methods, the prevention of the stress of organizational change and the establishment of innovative values as the basis of a new organizational culture.

Abstract:
The effectiveness of a police officer’s professional performance depends on many social processes and phenomena, on socially-oriented and/or person-oriented communication with colleagues, different categories of citizens, on the level of organisation of this activity in general, on leadership and management processes. These days, such areas of psychology as communication between work colleagues, leadership in the circle of colleagues, and other factors impacting professional efficiency remain insufficiently covered. The authors have already touched on the issue of leadership and communication in our research, however, the authors have not carried out a specific study. The study is mainly aimed at the theoretical-methodological and empirical research into the phenomenon of leadership in the workplace team environment. Main research methods: observation, testing, mathematical-statistical analysis and socio-psychological influence methods. Key results: the scientific concept of ‘leadership’ and specificity of its manifestation in the service team was revealed; the problem regarding the lack of methods and techniques for the study of leadership and management processes in the service team was noted; in order to characterise the service team as an integrated system of interpersonal relations the indices of mutual acceptability/unacceptability, cohesion, coherence, etc. were calculated; the results of communicative activity and expression of leadership personality and management style, etc. were obtained; recommendations on how to organise joint activities and develop leadership skills are given. It is also noted that in order to develop leadership qualities in the workplace, it is advisable to develop the readiness of the individual to make responsible decisions, skills and abilities to quickly and correctly assess the personality, the situation, the socio-psychological climate of the workplace team, etc.

Abstract:
The paper deals with the problem of research related to the systemic problem of optimal management related to the military process industry in the environment covid-19. The developed model enables the application of soft mathematics technology to make reliable decisions related to the field of business of the military process industry. Using the method of analogy, the developed model for optimal process industry management can be used for systems in other areas as well. Unlike various models that were developed before the covid-19 pandemic, this model puts the health safety factor in the first place in terms of evaluation. With the appearance of the covid-19 pandemic, a security factor in the military industry, and above all the process is further complicated, and thus the system optimization of management. The paper shows the possible application of the model on a specific production system in the field of military process industry. Research shows that at all levels of management in the conditions of the covid-19 pandemic, there was no systematic approach to management optimization in which the safety factor is in the first place.Successful modeling of such complex systems is not possible without the application of multidisciplinary knowledge such as: engineering-technical, medical-health, security, economic, socio-psychological, educational and soft mathematics. In the education system, developmental changes are needed in the function of educating a larger number of staff who possess multidisciplinary knowledge.

Full text
Abstract:
Objectives. To evaluate the effectiveness and harms of pain management programs that are based on the biopsychosocial model of care, particularly in the Medicare population. Data sources. Electronic databases (Ovid® MEDLINE®, PsycINFO®, CINAHL®, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews) from 1989 to May 24, 2021; reference lists; and a Federal Register notice. Review methods. Given lack of consensus on terminology and program definition for pain management, we defined programs as integrated (based in and integrated with primary care) and comprehensive (referral based and separate from primary care) pain management programs (IPMPs and CPMPs). Using predefined criteria and dual review, we selected randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing IPMPs and CPMPs with usual care or waitlist, physical activity, pharmacologic therapy, and psychological therapy in patients with complex acute/subacute pain or chronic nonactive cancer pain. Patients needed to have access to medication support/review, psychological support, and physical function support in programs. Meta-analyses were conducted to improve estimate precision. We classified the magnitude of effects as small, moderate, or large based on predefined criteria. Strength of evidence (SOE) was assessed for the primary outcomes of pain, function, and change in opioid use. Results. We included 57 RCTs; 8 evaluated IPMPs and 49 evaluated CPMPs. Compared with usual care or waitlist, IPMPs were associated with small improvements in pain in the short and intermediate term (SOE: low) and in function in the short term (SOE: moderate), but there were no clear differences at other time points. CPMPs were associated with small improvements in pain immediately postintervention (SOE: moderate) but no differences in the short, intermediate, and long term (SOE: low); for function, improvements were moderate immediately postintervention and in the short term; there were no differences in the intermediate or long term (SOE: low at all time points). CPMPs were associated with small to moderate improvements in function and pain versus pharmacologic treatment alone at multiple time frames (SOE: moderate for function intermediate term; low for pain and function at all other times), and with small improvements in function but no improvements in pain in the short term when compared with physical activity alone (SOE: moderate). There were no differences between CPMPs and psychological therapy alone at any time (SOE: low). Serious harms were not reported, although evidence on harms was insufficient. The mean age was 57 years across IPMP RCTs and 45 years across CPMP RCTs. None of the trials specifically enrolled Medicare beneficiaries. Evidence on factors related to program structure, delivery, coordination, and components that may impact outcomes is sparse and there was substantial variability across studies on these factors. Conclusions. IPMPs and CPMPs may provide small to moderate improvements in function and small improvements in pain in patients with chronic pain compared with usual care. Formal pain management programs have not been widely implemented in the United States for general populations or the Medicare population. To the extent that programs are tailored to patients’ needs, our findings are potentially applicable to the Medicare population. Programs that address a range of biopsychosocial aspects of pain, tailor components to patient need, and coordinate care may be of particular importance in this population.

Abstract:
The article clarifies of gender identity stereotypes in modern media. The main gender stereotypes covered in modern mass media are analyzed and refuted. The model of gender relations in the media is reflected mainly in the stereotypical images of men and woman. The features of the use of gender concepts in modern periodicals for women and men were determined. The most frequently used derivatives of these macroconcepts were identified and analyzed in detail. It has been found that publications for women and men are full of various gender concepts that are used in different contexts. Ingeneral, theanalysisofthe concept-maximums and concept-minimum gender and their characteristics is carried out in the context of gender stereotypes that have been forme dand function in the society, system atizing the a ctual presentations. The study of the gender concept is relevant because it reveals new trends and features of modern gender images. Taking into account the special features of gender-labeled periodicals in general and the practical absence of comprehensive scientific studies of the gender concept in particular, there is a need to supplement Ukrainian science with this topic. Gender psychology, which is served by methods of various sciences, primarily sociological, pedagogical, linguistic, psychological, socio-psychological. Let us pay attention to linguistic and psycholinguistic methods in gender studies. Linguistic methods complement intelligence research tasks, associated with speech, word and text. Psycholinguistic methods used in gender psychology (semantic differential, semantic integral, semantic analysis of words and texts), aimed at studying speech messages, specific mechanisms of origin and perception, functions of speech activity in society, studying the relationship between speech messages and gender properties participants in the communication, to analyze the linguistic development in connection with the general development of the individual. Yatsymirska, Mariya. SOCIAL EXPRESSION IN MULTIMEDIA TEXTS. Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.30970/vjo.2021.49.11072.

Full text
Abstract:
The article investigates functional techniques of extralinguistic expression in multimedia texts; the effectiveness of figurative expressions as a reaction to modern events in Ukraine and their influence on the formation of public opinion is shown. Publications of journalists, broadcasts of media resonators, experts, public figures, politicians, readers are analyzed. The language of the media plays a key role in shaping the worldview of the young political elite in the first place. The essence of each statement is a focused thought that reacts to events in the world or in one’s own country. The most popular platform for mass information and social interaction is, first of all, network journalism, which is characterized by mobility and unlimited time and space. Authors have complete freedom to express their views in direct language, including their own word formation. Phonetic, lexical, phraseological and stylistic means of speech create expression of the text. A figurative word, a good aphorism or proverb, a paraphrased expression, etc. enhance the effectiveness of a multimedia text. This is especially important for headlines that simultaneously inform and influence the views of millions of readers. Given the wide range of issues raised by the Internet as a medium, research in this area is interdisciplinary. The science of information, combining language and social communication, is at the forefront of global interactions. The Internet is an effective source of knowledge and a forum for free thought. Nonlinear texts (hypertexts) – «branching texts or texts that perform actions on request», multimedia texts change the principles of information collection, storage and dissemination, involving billions of readers in the discussion of global issues. Mastering the word is not an easy task if the author of the publication is not well-read, is not deep in the topic, does not know the psychology of the audience for which he writes. Therefore, the study of media broadcasting is an important component of the professional training of future journalists. The functions of the language of the media require the authors to make the right statements and convincing arguments in the text. Journalism education is not only knowledge of imperative and dispositive norms, but also apodictic ones. In practice, this means that there are rules in media creativity that are based on logical necessity. Apodicticity is the first sign of impressive language on the platform of print or electronic media. Social expression is a combination of creative abilities and linguistic competencies that a journalist realizes in his activity. Creative self-expression is realized in a set of many important factors in the media: the choice of topic, convincing arguments, logical presentation of ideas and deep philological education. Linguistic art, in contrast to painting, music, sculpture, accumulates all visual, auditory, tactile and empathic sensations in a universal sign – the word. The choice of the word for the reproduction of sensory and semantic meanings, its competent use in the appropriate context distinguishes the journalist-intellectual from other participants in forums, round tables, analytical or entertainment programs. Expressive speech in the media is a product of the intellect (ability to think) of all those who write on socio-political or economic topics. In the same plane with him – intelligence (awareness, prudence), the first sign of which (according to Ivan Ogienko) is a good knowledge of the language. Intellectual language is an important means of organizing a journalistic text. It, on the one hand, logically conveys the author’s thoughts, and on the other – encourages the reader to reflect and comprehend what is read. The richness of language is accumulated through continuous self-education and interesting communication. Studies of social expression as an important factor influencing the formation of public consciousness should open up new facets of rational and emotional media broadcasting; to trace physical and psychological reactions to communicative mimicry in the media. Speech mimicry as one of the methods of disguise is increasingly becoming a dangerous factor in manipulating the media. Mimicry is an unprincipled adaptation to the surrounding social conditions; one of the most famous examples of an animal characterized by mimicry (change of protective color and shape) is a chameleon. In a figurative sense, chameleons are called adaptive journalists. Observations show that mimicry in politics is to some extent a kind of game that, like every game, is always conditional and artificial.
