Abstract:
AbstractThe aim of this study was to develop legal, organizational and economic activities for providing medical rehabilitation on an outpatient basis to patients that have suffered an acute cerebrovascular accident (CVA). The study included patients who had suffered a CVA and were undergoing medical rehabilitation on an outpatient basis (400 individuals participated in a retrospective study and 400 individuals took part in a sociological survey) and medical rehabilitation specialists providing care on an outpatient basis to patients who had suffered a CVA (n = 50). All included patients received medical rehabilitation in accordance with the Guidelines of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (No: 70). It should be noted that patients who suffered a CVA occupy a central place in the system of medical rehabilitation performed on an outpatient basis. Medical rehabilitation is important for their medical and social characteristics, motivation, environment, adherence to treatment and a healthy lifestyle. In accordance with the above mentioned, the following activities should be planned and implemented: a) work with doctors, b) work with patients; c) work with patients’ relatives; d) organizational aspects, and e) economic aspects. When organizing medical rehabilitation on an outpatient basis, it should be considered as a system of interaction between all participants in the rehabilitation process, in the center of which the patient is located. The main organizational activity for conducting medical rehabilitation in an outpatient setting is the implementation of a comprehensive interaction of all participants in the rehabilitation process.

Abstract:
The objective of this article is to present one of the lineages of human resource management in Poland—industrial sociology. It was within the framework of this subdiscipline that research devoted to the social aspects of industrialization was carried out in the nineteen–sixties and seventies. Studies conducted within the circle of the Cracovian sociologist, Kazimierz Dobrowolski, looked at the industrial centers of Lesser Poland. The primary research question involves the process of the shaping of industrial company personnel in connection with the migration of rural population to industrial centers. The research demonstrated the social and cultural conditions behind this process, not only the impact of the culture of rural communities on shaping work culture in companies, but also the influence of industrial work experience on the life and cultural aspirations of rural communities.

Abstract:
The structure and architecture of many European cities has started their development during the Middle Ages or even earlier. The historic cores gradually had become centers of contemporary cities and are constantly evolving. They are affected by the tendencies of destruction, initiatives and movements of preservation are also taking place there. The comprehensive works of rehabilitation of Lithuanian historic urban centers were carried out during the period of soviet occupation. The insularity of the Soviet empire, ideological reasons and the absence of the private property has determined certain architectural expressions and solutions for the social problems. After the restoration of the country‘s independence the problems and tendencies typical to Western city centers, such as commercialization and gentrification, started to appear in Lithuanian historic urban cores. This justifies the aim of the article which is to analyze the tendencies of revitalization of historic city centers in Western countries with the main attention to the social and architectural aspects.

Abstract:
Objective: Structural analysis of the German translation of the “Client-Centered Rehabilitation Questionnaire” (CCRQ). Design: Cross-sectional multicenter study. Setting: Ten inpatient rehabilitation centers in Germany. Subjects: The CCRQ was completed by patients in the ten rehabilitation centers. Main measures: The psychometric analysis of the CCRQ was conducted using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: The CCRQ was completed by 496 patients (average age: 59 years; 59.7% women). The CCRQ’s 7-factor structure could not be confirmed. Factor analysis showed that the three latent constructs “decision-making/communication”, “self-management/empowerment”, and “psychosocial well-being” (60.73% variance explained) adequately represent patient-centeredness in medical rehabilitation assessed by the CCRQ. The scales possess good reliability (Cronbach’s α = .83 to .87) and convergent criterion validity (r = 0.48 to 0.68). The three-factorial model exhibited good local and global data fit (RMSEA: 0.063, CFI 0.962, TLI 0.954) and proved to have a better data fit than concurring models (e.g. a model assuming an underlying factor). Conclusions: A validated short form of the Client-Centered Rehabilitation Questionnaire, CCRQ-15, could be identified. Three scales based on 15 items allow assessing the key aspects of patient-centeredness in German medical rehabilitation.

Abstract:
Based on the concept of digital turn in sociology proposed by Professor S.Kravchenko, the authors use the example of specific sociological studies of Russian research centers to conduct a correlation analysis between the digital literacy of the population and its activity in social network communications. Network communications of the population in digital format displace analog formats and contribute to active digital transformations in society as a whole. Digital literacy is considered as an integral indicator that includes information, technical, communication and innovation components. In addition to age and gender differentiation, the level of digital literacy is also influenced by settlement and territorial factors, confirming the existence of an urgent problem of digital inequality. The situation with the ethical side of information literacy is also not clear. This indicator shows how deeply a person reflects on the information found and used. The mass transition to digital technologies observed and actively implemented in the last few years, including their application in network communications, increases not only the innovative, spatial and technological, but also the cognitive distance between generations, not only within the framework of family and interpersonal communications, but also on the scale of industrial, industry and institutional interactions. In today’s digital world, the structural elements of social networks include platforms, online services, or websites designed to build, reflect, and organize people’s social connections. It is the presence of an almost limitless number of information exchanges in social networks that forms a certain system of cybernetic power (cyber power). Cyber power is a complex system of resources structured around the production, exchange, and control of digital information. The cyber power is gradually transformed into a powerful hegemony, i.e., the power of the Internet. a superpower that is not limited to controlling purely cybernetic resources that include structural levels of cyberspace. Not only the communication system is changing, but also the way of thinking, which is becoming an actual subject of research not only for sociologists and psychologists, but also for representatives of many related scientific fields. The concept of a digital turn in sociology, which assumes a humanistic basis for the ongoing transformations, could become a methodological basis for a comprehensive study of the social aspects and consequences of digitalization of modern society.

Abstract:
The urgency of the problem is due to the significant increase in recent years in the number of young and middle-aged people who have passed the war, the need to develop adequate measures of social assistance and protection. An important task in the organization of the rehabilitation process is to determine the structure of the needs of servicemen with disabilities in various types of medical and social care and the development of individual rehabilitation programs (IRP) based on them. The purpose of the study: to determine the structure of the needs of servicemen with disabilities in medical and social rehabilitation depending on the severity of disability. Statistical data from 25 administrative territories of Ukraine for 2018 are analyzed, the needs of participants of military service with disabilities in medical and social rehabilitation measures, their structure are calculated. The data of the information base of the centers and the bureau of medical and social examination of the regions were used. Processing of the primary material was performed using the universal statistical package "Excel". In 2018, medical and social expert commissions (MSEC) of Ukraine for the first time and re-certified and recognized persons with disabilities 7843 combatants. Of these, disability of group I (IA and IB) was established in 2.6 %, II – in 29.2 %, III – in 68.2 % of cases. All victims for MSEC were formed IRP. The dependence of the needs of combatants in medical and social rehabilitation measures on the severity of disability has been established. For persons with disabilities of groups II and III, priority is given to medical and professional rehabilitation, group I – social rehabilitation and technical means of rehabilitation with medical support. Of the medical rehabilitation services for persons with II and III groups of disability, sanatorium treatment is significant, and group I – rehabilitation therapy. Among vocational rehabilitation services, employment in production conditions is important – for persons with group III disabilities, in specially created conditions – for persons with group II disabilities, at home – for persons with group I disabilities. Vocational training was offered to a small number of people with disabilities of all groups. Among social rehabilitation services and technical means of rehabilitation, the services of social workers of territorial social service centers were significant for representatives of all disability groups, simpler means of transportation for persons of group III disability and more complex means for persons of group I. Determining the characteristics of the needs of servicemen with disabilities depending on its severity allows MSEC specialists to better form the IRP, develop targeted rehabilitation programs at the regional level, assess shortcomings in the organization of the rehabilitation process and build a rehabilitation system for combatants.

In this study, I pursued to gain an in-depth understanding on vocational education and training (VET) of injecting drug users residing in rehabilitation in Kathmandu valley. Two rehabilitation centers that accommodate institutionalized injecting drug users were purposively selected for the study in which six participants voluntarily participated. An ethnographic narrative enquiry, which is the qualitative research methodology, was employed to gain insight into their lived experiences and perception towards VET. The themes that emerged from the findings were interspersed by focusing on a range of sociological theories. This study brings to the fore that injecting drug user has affirmative impression towards VET and understands the importance of VET but is not willing to study anymore. Participants’ perception understood earning money is more important than getting VET and they understood that it is too late to study and they are not able to study any more due to the use and abuse of drugs and their study habits have been destroyed by the drugs.

Abstract:
Pain has long been associated with sports participation, being analyzed variously as a physical phenomenon, as well as a sociocultural construct in sport sociological literature. In this article, the authors employ a sociological–phenomenological approach to generate novel insights into the underresearched domain of “lived” pain in competitive swimming. Analytic attention is paid to specific aspects of pain, including “discomfort” and “good pain,” and how these sensations can be positively experienced and understood by the swimmers, as well as forming an integral part of the everyday routines of competitive swimming. Here, training is seen as “work” in the pursuit of athletic improvement. Discomfort and good pain thus become perceived as by-products of training, providing swimmers with important embodied information on pace, energy levels, and other bodily indicators of performance.

Abstract:
When sociolinguistic became the concern of linguists and sociologists alike, being a fertilized land for cultivation, the need became necessary to suggest a comprehensive sociolinguistic theory which deals with sociolinguistic research. Such theory should become a link between linguistics and sociology. The theory should sort out all the problems and phenomena which have been neglected by the theory. Such investigation resulted in many attempts in two dimensions: on one hand, understanding the sociological aspects of language, and on the other, understanding various linguistic aspects of society. Accordingly, many terms and concepts emerged into existence such as (macro and micro, sociolinguistics) which became centers of gravity within the area of sociolinguistics. Different aspects of sociolinguistic appear and increased in the lessons of the area. Such phenomena became more complicated with the development of the societies which later became a big impediment in suggesting a more comprehensive theory, characterized by stability according to necessity as the basic principles are unclear. The most obvious phenomena are language variation and linguistic disparity which cannot be recognized and differentiated clearly and became an area of misunderstanding regarding many sociolinguistic terms. Such terms have been neglected and have not been their due attention. Thus, their views and perspectives became vague, that is why the area requires a thorough investigation to identify many basic concepts in sociolinguistics.

Abstract:
Purpose: to conduct an analysis of the needs for social rehabilitation services and technical means of rehabilitation for visually impaired people in St. Petersburg. Materials and methods. A medical-sociological study was carried out on a specially developed questionnaire, which makes it possible to analyze the needs of the visually impaired in socio-rehabilitation activities and technical means of rehabilitation. Also, the official state statistical reporting data were used: «forms 7-sobes» for 2015–2016. The study included 250 people. at the age of 18–80 years, who had a disability in sight. Results. The overwhelming majority of visually impaired people (98.4 %) have disabilities of groups I and II. The proportion of disabled people in group II is the highest and amounts to 62.2 %, the proportion of disabled people in group III is the lowest — 1.6 %. Among the total number of employees, the greatest share was occupied by the disabled of the I group (41.7 %), more than half of whom (54.9 %) had no professional education. The majority of visually impaired people (62.8 %) preferred to receive social and rehabilitation services in a center specialized in the Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of the Visually Impaired in St. Petersburg. The need for sanatorium treatment for disabled people was significant — 73.2 %, but it was satisfied in 7.2 %. It is established that the real needs of the visually impaired in various types of technical means of rehabilitation are much greater than those suggested in the «Federal List of Rehabilitation Measures, Technical Remedies and Services Provided to the Disabled». In St. Petersburg, about 50.0 % of the visually impaired need high-tech rehabilitation equipment, for example, in a mobile phone, computer or laptop, etc. But due to their absence in the federal and regional lists, they are forced to purchase at their own expense. The conclusion. It is advisable to provide social and rehabilitation services for visually impaired people on the basis of specialized centers (departments) that have a more diverse set of services for the most complete satisfaction of their needs. The needs for sanatorium treatment are minimally satisfied, which makes it necessary to improve the system of organization of sanatorium-and-spa treatment. For the visually impaired, the need for technical means of rehabilitation is satisfied at 75.0 %, which is the basis for considering the issue of expanding the range of the Federal List.

Abstract:
Following the cognitive revolution of the 1960s, cultural variation in behavior and knowledge has been a long-standing subject in social sciences. The “cognitive turn” in sociology brought to light many interesting issues and complex questions. The present publication addresses both theoretical and — to some extent — methodological challenges faced by the sociologists engaged in researching shared cultural variation within the culture-and-cognition research agenda, and compares it with the status quo in cousin social sciences that share the same cognitive perspective on culture. I specifically focus on the conceptual junctures that follow from the assumptions of shared cultural knowledge and intersubjectively shared cultural worldviews to highlight the important features of culture which can be effectively used for quantitative assessment of complex cultural processes. While I discuss various aspects of the findings and failings attributable to the culture-and-cognition research direction, my principal concern centers on encouraging more enhanced and sensitized interdisciplinary communication, as well as maximized intersections between cognitively oriented studies of culture in different social sciences, to bring the sociological studies of culture and cognition to full fruition.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is formation of the environment of rehabilitation centers for drug addicts and alcoholics, which can contribute to their recovery. The object of this research is the architectural environment, which is defined as a semantic field, themed for determining behavior of an individual or a particular group of people group of people. Such environment convinces people to lead drug-free and alcohol-free life. The author examines such aspects as the modern social problems related to mass isolation and loneliness. For many people, the urban environment becomes aggressive and uncomfortable. The desire of an individual to delve into the virtual space is understandable. The pandemic really aggravated this problem. The online mode of life (work, leisure, entertainment, communication, education) is conditioned by stressful situations, negative emotions, prolonged depression, and leads to misuse of psychotropic substances, drugs and alcohol. Special attention is given to the need for solution of social problems with the help of architecture and design – formation of in the urbanized environment of special space that would produce a positive impact, restore vital energy and capabilities of a person. The pandemic indicated rapid increase in the number of people who found escape from stress in alcohol and drugs. The main conclusion consists in create of such environment in the rehabilitation centers that would motivate the patients to fully recover. The author’s special contribution consists in on-site examination of the environment of rehabilitation centers and identification of problematic situations. This served as the foundation for determining the characteristics of environmental solutions. The novelty lies in determination of the semantic architectural environment of rehabilitation centers based on the drawings pf alcohol and drug addicts (environment-revival, environment-code, environment-motivation). There is currently no analogues to such environment.

Abstract:
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), like the majority of relatively violent sports, has mainly been organized around the capabilities of the male body. However various indices suggest that women’s engagement with MMA is growing. The purpose of this paper is to offer an analysis of women’s involvement in MMA using a figurational sociological approach. In doing so, we draw on interview data with “elite” female mixed martial artists to explore the extent to which females within MMA experience a specifically gendered “quest for excitement.” The paper further illustrates how the notion of “civilized bodies” can be used to interpret the distinctly gendered experiences of shame in relation to fighting in combat sports, the physical markings incurred as a consequence, and perceptions of sexual intimacy in the close physical contact of bodies. In so doing this paper provides the first figurationally-informed study of female sport involvement to focus explicitly on the role of violence in mediating social relations, while refining aspects of the figurational sociological approach to provide a more adequate framework for the analysis of gender relations.

Abstract:
Background. The relevance of the work is associated with the high prevalence and socio-economic significance of chronic pain. The number of analgesics consumed in the world is estimated in the tens of tonns. Hardware effects, including neurosurgical interventions, are not always effective and are associated with many side effects of complications. Existing therapeutic and surgical approaches to the treatment of chronic pain require additions. In this regard, the information and structural theory of pain was developed, revealing the information processes occurring in the Central nervous system against the background of chronic pain, as well as the theory of psychological types and information metabolism. In this case, it is easier not to look for the right solution, but to create a mechanism that will come up with a method for finding the right solution. A neural network is one of the ways to implement artificial intelligence (AI). It studies methods for building algorithms that can learn independently. This is necessary if there is no clear solution to any problem. Aims: based on the comparison of data from neuropsychological, clinical and neurophysiological studies, as well as mathematical (neural network) modeling of chronic pain, to identify information and structural justification and practical application of psychoalgology. Methods. A total of A total of 105 patients diagnosed with Dorsopathy (M54.4; M51.1, M54.1) were studied. 50 men and 55 women, men: average age 49 0.5 years; women: average age 52 1.6 years. Assessment of the level of reactive and personal anxiety using the adapted SpielbergerHanin questionnaire, the SAN test, and the assessment of vegetative status using the vegetative questionnaire by A.M. Wein. Neuroimaging research: CT, MRI of the brain and spine for diagnostic purposes. The neurophysiological study consisted of EEG, TCD, duplex scanning of the craniocervical junction vessels. For a more detailed assessment, a neural network analyzer of lumbar pain was used, which allows predicting its course. Results. A clinical and neurophysiological study of patients with back pain revealed that, along with other disorders of cerebral neurodynamics, a large role is played by lateralization of cerebral neurodynamics (asymmetry), which is manifested by more pronounced changes in the EEG in the contralateral hemisphere. When studying the subjective state of patients, two main types of disorders were distinguished: the type of associated and the type of non-associated mental disorders. As a result of the analysis of mathematical (neural network) algorithms of pain syndromes, clinical and neurophysiological studies, new principles of chronization of the pathological process with the transformation of the pain syndrome into an independent psychological disease were formulated. ALGIC DISEASE is characterized by a pronounced clinical polymorphism due to complex information-structural interactions of dominant and subdominant zones and characterized by: 1) heterogeneity and chaotic spatial parameters of pain in relation to the zones of innervation of nociogenic structures; 2) non-topological time parameters of peripheral and Central sensitization with increased pain from instant to prolonged; 3) mutual suppression, displacement, migration of pain centers; 4) changing the monocausal dependence of the polycausal pain syndrome with the possibility of a reverse process in the process of regional integrative measures with a multidisciplinary approach; 5) the relationship of chronic pain with pronounced cognitive, emotional and vegetative reactions. Conclusions. Based on the information and structural theory of pain, the results of research and the proposed psychoalgological approach, the principles of building a rehabilitation program for patients with chronic pain are formulated, which consists in a complex effect on nociogenic structures of types 1, 2 and 3 in combination with the modification of patient behavior through individually selected psychotherapeutic techniques.

Abstract:
Background. At present there are no scientifically substantiated data on the problems of introducing assisted reproductive technologies (ART) in the Republic of Belarus. The relevance of developing approaches, organizing opinion polls and processing data on a representative sample of Belarusians does not raise doubts in view of the relationship between social attitudes in the field of reproductive health and the national security of the country. Purpose. Substantiation of medical and sociological study of ART in the population of the Republic of Belarus. Material and methods. The bibliographic analysis included the study of Russian and foreign experience in assessing the sociological aspects of reproductology (materials of Springer Link, Oxford University Press, The New England Journal of Medicine, The British Medical Journal, the SCOPUS database of Elsevier, the EBSCO platform), as well as the analysis of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in the field of reproductology. Results. In the country, the interests of the party that wants to become a parent (surrogate motherhood, donation) are respected as much as possible. The medicalized approach to the definition of ART methods in Belarus is typical, as in other post-Soviet countries, which are characterized by a classical (nuclear) understanding of the family. Taking into account the current trends in the development of the market for reproductive technologies and those techniques that are used in reproductive centers of the Republic of Belarus, it is necessary in the legislative framework to provide for the rules and possibilities of using such methods as hatching (dissection of the embryo membrane), intracytoplasmic sperm injection, intracytoplasmic sperm injection after selection according to morphological criteria, preimplantation diagnostics. Conclusions. The following areas are relevant for Belarus: 1) study of the awareness of the population of the Republic of Belarus about ART; 2) assessment of social trust in ART on the part of the population; 3) development of technologies for positive reproductive attitudes in society, including the use of ART.

Abstract:
The subject of this paper is the sport socialization of athletes with disabilities; the object is to contribute to research and praxis through a review of the relevant sociological literature on the subject. The majority of the research, which uses structural-functionalism, is seen as a set of pioneering attempts to generate reliable information. However, the resulting information is too simplistic and theoretically deficient. The minority of the research, which uses interactionism, is seen as complementing the structural-functionalist studies by focusing on different aspects of the socialization experiences of athletes with disabilities. This research is insightful but it is collectively unsystematic. It is concluded that the study of disability sport socialization is in its infancy and is in urgent need of an adequate theoretical foundation. Three theoretical suggestions are offered to provide such a foundation, together with substantive suggestions for focusing on the themes of institutionalized physical activity and sport, social relationships, social configurations, and social control.

Abstract:
In the article there is reflected the complex of the most important andfundamental problems ofintegration ofpersons with disabilities into society in two ways: in the theoretical and methodological and analytical-sociological. There are considered institutional aspects of the vocational rehabilitation atfour levels: international, national, regional and local. The study of the views ofdomestic researchers in theoretical and methodological terms has shown problems of the employment ofpersons with disabilities at the regional level to be insufficiently studied up until now. In this connection there were investigated main directions of vocational rehabilitation and integration of disabled people into society thanks to efforts of the Government of the Mari El Republic, Main Bureau of Social and Medical and Expertise of the Republic of Mari El of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Department of Labor and Employment ofpopulation of the Republic of Mari El. There is given an estimation of the management and vocational rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in the competitive mesoeconomic labour market. On the basis of monitoring and sociological research of two categories of respondents there were identified priorities, issues andfactors, determined the employment of the disabled persons as a specific population group. The dynamics of active forms of the employment and ranging opinions of respondents allowed to prove the positive role of vocational rehabilitation to expedite the integration processes of disabled persons in society: decline in the number of cases of disability among working age persons surveyedfirstly, reducing the percentage of the gain in the severity ofdisability, the increase in the proportion of the complete rehabilitation among the adult population, the decline in the proportion ofpersons with disabilities among the unemployed people owing to such forms as the organization of specialized job fairs, quotas and creation of work places, referral of disabled persons about self employment. Nevertheless, bearing in mind the persistence of revealed problems, there are proposed author measures on the improvement of the efficacy of the impact of vocational rehabilitation ofpersons with disabilities to accelerate their integration into society, taking into account vectorness, including governing bodies, employers and people with disabilities.

Abstract:
Background: Employment rates among people with spinal cord injury or spinal cord disease (SCI/D) show considerable variation across countries. One factor to explain this variation is differences in vocational rehabilitation (VR) systems. International comparative studies on VR however are nonexistent. Objectives: To describe and compare VR systems and practices and barriers for return to work in the rehabilitation of persons with SCI/D in multiple countries. Methods: A survey including clinical case examples was developed and completed by medical and VR experts from SCI/D rehabilitation centers in seven countries between April and August 2017. Results: Location (rehabilitation center vs community), timing (around admission, toward discharge, or after discharge from clinical rehabilitation), and funding (eg, insurance, rehabilitation center, employer, or community) of VR practices differ. Social security services vary greatly. The age and preinjury occupation of the patient influences the content of VR in some countries. Barriers encountered during VR were similar. No participant mentioned lack of interest in VR among team members as a barrier, but all mentioned lack of education of the team on VR as a barrier. Other frequently mentioned barriers were fatigue of the patient (86%), lack of confidence of the patient in his/her ability to work (86%), a gap in the team's knowledge of business/legal aspects (86%), and inadequate transportation/accessibility (86%). Conclusion: VR systems and practices, but not barriers, differ among centers. The variability in VR systems and social security services should be considered when comparing VR study results.

Abstract:
Psychological flexibility receives increasing attention as the overarching process in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This study investigates the psychometric properties of the Psychological Inflexibility in Pain Scale (PIPS), measuring “avoidance” and “cognitive fusion” with pain, in a heterogeneous clinical sample of 428 chronic pain patients from four rehabilitation centers. Furthermore, the relationship between the PIPS and mindfulness (Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire, FFMQ) as a theoretically related measure within ACT is explored. Confirmatory factor analyses replicated acceptable/good model fit and internal consistencies. In a subsample from two rehabilitation centers (n = 237), the PIPS showed moderate to high relationships with aspects of mindfulness, pain interference in daily life, pain disability and mental health, and small relationships with pain intensity and physical functioning. The avoidance subscale explained additional variance in outcome variables beyond the FFMQ, ranging from 4.5 to 15.8%. Outcomes support the psychometric properties of the PIPS in a heterogeneous chronic pain sample. The PIPS and FFMQ measure slightly overlapping, but distinct constructs, and can be used complementary to assess a broad range of processes within ACT. Potential problems with the cognitive fusion subscale are acknowledged for future research.

Abstract:
Homelessness is a social phenomenon that manifests itself equally in Poland and all over the world. Despite the continuous development of civilization, homelessness does not decrease, but rather increases. When raising the issue of homelessness, one should keep in mind its complexity and the impossibility of unambiguous wording. No less difficult is the task of revealing the main cause that would help slow down the development of such a serious social problem. The article draws attention to the social phenomenon of homelessness not only from the standpoint of lack of permanent residence, but also considers the individual characteristics of the homeless, taking into consideration such issues as: individuality of emotions and personal tendencies, specific attitude to self-perception, attitude to the family, attitude to the life stabilization, the ability to solve existential problems, the specifics of cultural behavior. The author points out the social causes of homelessness, such as: certain factors related to addictions, personality disorders, disability, as well as serious diseases that require expensive treatment, social factors arising from family conflicts, educational institutions or rehabilitation centers, structural factors related to unemployment, poverty and housing problems. The author of the article admits that the percentage of education among homeless people will increase if society pays enough attention to the homeless, and provides the special assistance to this category of people. It is also emphasized that assistance to the homeless should be offered in the following areas: psychological assistance, which can clarify the reasons that led a person to a difficult life situation, social care — in order to return homeless people to normal functioning in the society; career guidance assistance: cooperation with the institutions that will find jobs for the homeless people.

Abstract:
We explored outpatient’s perceptions on the quality of physiotherapy care provided in three urban primary care centers of Valdivia, Chile, through a descriptive phenomenological study. We collected data from 21 participants through semistructured interviews which were analyzed using the Colaizzi approach. Two main themes emerged: quality related to the professional and structure of the care system. Perceptions about the care received from the physiotherapist are influenced by factors such as communication, the way they treat the patient, and the trust established between patient and professional. In addition, structural aspects such as allocation of spaces, technical equipment and rehabilitation devices, access to centers, and the availability of the physiotherapist affect satisfaction and the perception of the quality of the service received. As it occurs in other health services provided by different health-care professionals, the quality of physiotherapy care is related to subjective (relational) and objective (structural) perceptions.

Abstract:
Introduction. The article analyzes the results of the sociological research undertaken by the authors in 2018 within the framework of the research project “Social Projects of the Russian Orthodox Church” in terms of comparing motivation, social technologies and social consequences of implementing Orthodox social projects in the capital and other regions of Russia in order to identify factors contributing to and hindering their successful implementation at the regional level. The purpose of the empirical research was to identify the social functions fulfilled in the process of developing and implementing social projects by organizations within the structure of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), as well as by lay organizations created and headed by parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church. Materials and Methods. The study used qualitative methods of collecting and analyzing sociological data such as observation, in-depth interviews with people participating in social activities of the Orthodox projects and with the members of their target groups. The qualitative study used theoretical sampling and the method of selecting typical cases, which made it possible to describe and analyze social technologies and the consequences of the Orthodox social activities in different areas of impact on the society, including helping the poor and the socially deprived strata of the population, rehabilitation of the disabled, ‘pro-life’ movements, as well as educational activities. Results. In the process of research, based on the analysis of the survey data, the goals of the Orthodox social projects and their hierarchy have been identified, as well as the peculiarities of motivation of the activities of the participants of the Orthodox social projects studied and the specifics of the forms of organizing social assistance in Moscow, the Republic of Mordovia, and the Ivanovo Region. The social technologies of direct and indirect influence of the Orthodox social projects in terms of educational activities have been studied. The authors sought to assess the transformational consequences of implementation of the Orthodox social projects studied at the levels of the individual, social institutions, and groups. Discussion and Conclusion. The study has revealed that the Orthodox social initiatives help their participants master such skills as fundraising, interaction with the society, government bodies and commercial entities, thus becoming an important segment of civil society. The main difficulties the Orthodox social projects encounter have been revealed: poor systemic work and dependence on the personality of the leader, dependence on grants. The scientific results of the study can be used when developing strategies and implementing social policies with the participation of Orthodox non-profit organizations through a comprehensive analysis of methods and social technologies.

Abstract:
Evidence-based models emphasizing on lifestyle behaviours for the treatment of drug use is still in its infancy. The development of multicomponent effective drug use intervention programs as part of health promotion is crucial to decrease risk of relapse. This study aims at exploring the lifestyle practices including dietary intake, physical activity and sleep of people who use drugs undergoing residential rehabilitation treatment in Lebanon with its perceived benefits and pitfalls. A purposive sample of 18 males and 9 females at different stages of recovery from drug use in rehabilitation centers participated in the qualitative discussions. The six phases thematic analysis revealed three themes: chaotic lifestyle, structuredlifestyle, benefits and pitfalls, and suggestions for making rehabilitation a better experience. Participants discussed their chaotic lifestyle during addiction with poor food intake, disrupted sleep and low physical activity moving to a more disciplined routine enforcing normality in lifestyle practices with social and professionlprofessional support. The early phases of treatment were marked with increased food intake and weight gain perceived as a health indicator and the sole divergent from drugs, moving towards more structured meals and efforts to lose weight in later stages. Lack of variety of Physical activity programs taking into consideration the motivational differences among the participants was also highlighted. Measures for improving rehabilitation services in terms of promoting healthy eating behaviours and environmental control were thoroughly addressed. These findings shed the light on the challenges faced in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in rehabilitation centers and the necessities of addressing them to improve the overall rehabilitation experience, prevent relapse and inform the development of future targeted intervention programs tackling all aspects of behavioural changes.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to show the importance of polymers in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The article takes into account medical, sociological and economic aspects of the issue under study. It turns out that both medical and occupational rehabilitation have a significant impact on the professional activity of a person with a disability. What is more, there is a close interdependence between the type of disability and the ability to perform specific activities. Persons with disabilities, due to the damage to the body, do not lose all abilities and retain the ability to perform many activities necessary in life, work, etc. Some of the abilities, after being identified and improved, can be the basis for starting rehabilitation, training, and then s professional work. In many cases, early and properly conducted rehabilitation is invaluable. However, it would not be possible without many devices which are made using polymers. They are used for the production of prostheses for limbs, joints, tendons, as well as teeth. They are also used during medical diagnosis, rehabilitation and prophylactic activities. The review of domestic and foreign literature confirms that the use of polymers in medicine significantly improves the quality of life of people with disabilities and enables them, through rehabilitation, to return to physical and professional activity. And although all polymers used to produce the above-mentioned elements must undergo a special modification in order to increase their overall strength and provide them with essential properties for utility purposes, undoubtedly modern medicine cannot do without polymers.

The complex of modern sociological and religious studies approaches to the analysis of religious practices in post-sectarian societies makes it possible, among other things, to characterize their biographical aspects. First of all, it is about the ways and means of displaying the "Man of Faith" in the various reference journals, which are traditionally widely represented in secular literature, and have recently become increasingly popular among denominational publications and resources. The latter promotes both the "mature" of the domestic theological centers (and thus the ability to implement significant encyclopedic projects) and the more open intensive work of religious organizations (which entails the need for a variety of popular editions, including personalities). But the landmark change, which radically changed the state of affairs, setting new trends and putting forward fundamentally different goals, was the emergence of new information technologies and their adaptation and use to accumulate and disseminate information about beliefs and their leaders. The most important feature of these newest electronic resources in comparison with the traditional (according to VI Popik) is their potential ability to objectively integrate the information accumulated previously by society in all its diversity, to organically absorb the inheritance of the manuscript and print culture of the past

Abstract:
Criminal Law in Indonesia is currently experiencing a renewal that includes formal criminal, material criminal and its implementation, it can be seen from the matter of Draft Law of the Criminal Code currently being discussed in the House of Representatives, is no exception about the criminal penalty for drug abuse which is now very threatening, many opinions of experts who argued that criminal confinement / imprisonment for narcotics abusers is not epektif because it can not cure and make a deterrent user. The regulation on the implementation of this rehabilitation was previously arranged through the Supreme Court Circular Number 07 Year 2009 to engage drug addicts in rehabilitation centers, with the aim that rehabilitation can be a punishment that heals the psyche and the minds of narcotics abusers who have been damaged due to the narcotics. Rehabilitation efforts for narcotics addicts and victims of narcotics abuse have not been found in the history of Islamic law development or Islamic criminal law, so this discussion should get further attention from the aspects of Islamic law (Maqasid As-Syari'ah) or Islamic criminal law

Abstract:
The article considers the theoretical aspects of the phenomenon of physical culture and sport as a social space in the framework of the main provisions of Pierre Bourdieu sociological theory. A retrospective review of scientific sources on the impact of physical culture and sports on various aspects of human life is made. Empirical studies allowing to apply the classical concepts of “social space”, “field”, “types of capital”, and “practice of agents” to physical culture and sports activities are noted. Objective and subjective characteristics of social fields in the structure of the social space of physical culture and sports are given. The types of agents’ practices in the fields of mass physical culture, physical culture in the education system, physical education, physical rehabilitation, and sports activity have been determined. The interrelation of the characteristics of fields and the activity of practical actions of agents is indicated, depending on their attitude to physical culture and sports. The possibility of using the social space of physical culture and sports for the correction of social well-being of various socio-demographic strata of society due to the genesis and accumulation of social and cultural capital at all levels of an individual’s functioning is assumed.

Abstract:
Abstract Introduction Many professional groups have to work in places with high temperatures; this includes, for example, doctors and nursing staff working at burn centres. Increased ambient temperature during the care of severely burned patients in the operating theatre and intensive care unit is used to mitigate the loss of thermoregulation, prevent hypothermia, and minimize the impact of hypermetabolism. However, experimental evidence indicates, that even relatively mild thermal stress may affect human performance. Novel cooling strategies have been invented for reducing thermal stress in people, who are occupationally exposed to high temperatures and have for instance already been tested in the military field. Here, the present study investigated the effects of cooling wear on the performance under high ambient temperatures. Methods Effects of cooling wear on concentration and performance of surgeons were investigated in 12 subjects during a simulated burn surgery. Subjects were divided into two groups, one group wearing cooling wear and one control group with normal scrubs. Directly before the exposure to high ambient temperatures, subjects of both groups underwent standardized tests for concentration, manual dexterity and measurements of physiological parameters. After a simulated burn surgery of 1 hour, subjects underwent the same analysing procedure again. Results Results proved that even relatively mild thermal stress affects performance whereby complex actions, that require high concentration, are primarily affected. Initial values of both groups showed approximately homogenous values. After heat exposure, however, subjects who received cooling wear showed higher results in tests for concentration and manual dexterity. Furthermore, the comparison of physical parameters indicates the ability of cooling wear to reduce thermal stress and its’ negative effects on the human organism. Conclusions Decrements in vigilance, performance and endurance are well-documented effects of thermal stress. As an opportunity to withstand thermal stress and therefore improve medical care, cooling wear showed good results in many aspects. Applicability of Research to Practice Based on these promising results cooling strategies may be used as an important tool in medical sectors in the future. Burn medicine may particularly profit from further development and rigorous investigation of cooling strategies.

Abstract:
The innovative aspects of medical and psychological rehabilitation of the old-aged patients in out-patient clinics on the basis of specialized medical centre have been studied. As an innovation: the long-term rehabilitation work (an additional period to the main course of 14 days) on the recovery of this category of patients, taking their age peculiarities into consideration (low level of intellectual and neuro-dynamic abilities); restorative treatment in a 24-hour hospital on the basis of the multifactorial program have been offered. In both cases, the emphasis is made on the recovery in terms of the developed program “The territory of welfare”. It is a medical and psychological support of the elderly on the basis of the Rehabilitation Medical Center “RZD-Medicine”, Yekaterinburg. On the one hand, this program will give an opportunity to overcome the lack of the provision of medical and psychological services during outpatient treatment. On the other hand, the program will help to understand the necessity of the rehabilitation measures extension for the elderly patients on the basis of medical centers. This program as an approbation for including into a pilot project “The organization of a modern model of a long-term medical treatment for the elderly people based on the principles of interdisciplinary and inter-departmental interaction (The Territory of care)”and for reconsidering the practice of rehabilitation services for the elderly; it is a necessary measure for the prevention, training and activation of the internal resources of older people for their productive aging.

Abstract:
This article examines processes that took place in regional centers in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Issues of interaction between the regional party apparatus and ordinary citizens became particularly acute by the end of the Khrushchev era. This study is connected with the analysis of the problem of bureaucratic practices of the Yaroslavl regional elite in working with citizens’ letters in the USSR in the 1960s. We perform an analysis of a diverse source base: official regulatory documents, archival materials, sources of personal origin, including memoirs and interviews through a prism oral history. The context of the study is presented by the analysis of official documents revealing problems of the regional elite of the late socialist era: registry, forgery in state reporting, careerism. Consideration of various complaints took a serious place in the work of the regional bureaucracy. Critical letters in the absence of sociological institutions allowed the authorities to present the real moods and demands of the population. Complaints allowed us to identify the negative aspects of reality and respond to them. The materials contained in the letters were checked, and not always the facts they contained were confirmed. The regional nomenclature sought to protect its interests and not to give a reason for the center to perceive critical letters in its address as objective.

Abstract:
Dhikrullah is an Islamic teaching to get calm has not been used in emotional counseling. The relationship between sound vibrations and emotions is still being studied in the acoustic room. M. J. Griffin has analyzed the benefits of vibration for humans. Neuroscience explains that emotional stability can help increase one's awareness. This paper discusses the role of dhikrullah vibration as emotional counseling among Acehnese people from a scientific approach. Qualitative data was sourced from 10 dhikrullah leaders in North Aceh and 3 dhikrullah leaders in Medan, North Sumatra. For quantitative data obtained through the Electro Encephalo Graph in order to get a sample of 10 subjects. The first finding, the vibration of dhikrullah. Second, dhikrullah as counseling and third, dhikrullah as emotional counseling among the Aceh Temun people from this study will contribute to four aspects. First, the development of Islamic mysticism. Second, increasing public awareness of dhikrullah as emotional therapy in the brain. Third, to explain dhikrullah as a legacy of Sufism scholars. Fourth, to resolve the incomplete mental problems in Aceh. The government can adopt the results of this study into public policy as social capital to strengthen the application of Islamic values in Aceh. The government can recommend a dhikrullah counseling approach to mental hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, trauma rehabilitation centers and drug rehabilitation centers.

Abstract:
In the last few decades in Jordan, several rehabilitation projects were established in heritage cities as tourism developing projects, (such as As-Salt city) with international funding support. These projects are concerned with conservation of historical buildings. The current paper highlights the hidden aspects of these projects; which mainly neglect Modern Heritage buildings focusing on older historical sites. The paper focuses on As-Salt city as a case study where significant buildings are not recognized as Modern Heritage, although they played an important role in the city’s life including commercial buildings and one school, dating back to 1961, and were demolished. This study investigates the important values and the role of some of these buildings within their urban context, including the effect of their loss on the local community; socially, functionally and economically. It suggests some evaluation criteria as a frame work to determine Modern Heritage buildings that need to be conserved. The study uses both quantitative and qualitative analysis. 200 structured interviews were conducted to address the impact of demolition and to reach a conclusion about the other unaccountable effects. The study shows that the demolition of Modern Heritage buildings had negative effects on the local community, due to their important role in the collective memory of the city. The study recommends developing a Jordanian rating system for evaluating, listing, classifying, and protecting Modern Heritage buildings.

Abstract:
The article highlights the possibility of joint impacts of probation officers of both divisions (family and criminal) performing tasks in one family. The above issue was analyzed in three aspects: historical, organizational, legal and methodological. Conclusions that arise after analysis lead to believe that the guardianship system has developed in several directions, and the role of probation officers is currently differently understood by judges, probation officers and the society. Probation officers perform a very wide range of tasks related to the implementation of court decisions. Their preparation for the profession has been standardized. Graduates of pedagogical, psychological, sociological and legal faculties may become probation officers. Year-long apprenticeship is aimed at deepening the knowledge of the future probation officer in the field of work methodology. The author believes that the issue of cooperation of probation officers performing tasks in one family should become the subject of in-depth analysis, both legal and methodological. Well-prepared and implemented cooperation between probation officers of both divisions can bring a measurable increase in effectiveness of rehabilitation-educational actions carried out in an open environment.

Abstract:
Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) or stroke is a disease that results in paralysis of one side of the body. Physical therapy is generally used as a muscular rehabilitation tool that involves different techniques and exercises. For it to be effective, the process must be accompanied by the constancy and discipline with which the routines are performed, which are frequently limited to the hospital environment, causing an interruption in the development of recovery due to the absence of home mechanisms that facilitate its execution in a safe and complete manner. In Colombia, these aspects are enhanced by intervening factors such as: extensive travel from rural areas to care sites, accessibility to specialized centers, among others. That is why this article provides the proposal of an equipment that contributes to CVA rehabilitation from the subacute stage. The design and operation were developed and simulated through Solidworks 2018 Software, involving a series of exercises for upper and lower limbs considered by physiotherapists as of high importance in the treatment of the disease; it means, they can be executed by the patient under ergonomic and safety conditions.
