Abstract:
The static output feedback (SOF) synthesis problem for descriptor systems is considered in this paper. LMI-based algorithms are proposed to find potentially structured SOF gains ensuring admissibility and evenH∞performance of the closed-loop system. These algorithms are then used to propose a (descriptor) observer-basedH∞controller design method. An alternative technique for determining such separated estimation/control structure, after the design step, is also proposed. Several numerical examples, throughout the paper, demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Background/Objectives: Thymoquinone (TQ) exhibits diverse biological activities, but its poor solubility and bioavailability limit its cancer efficacy, requiring innovative solutions. This study explores the development of an oral delivery system targeting colon cancer based on TQ pectin beads (TQ-PBs) produced through an adjustable electrospray technique. This study hypothesised that adjusting bead diameter through the electrospray technique enables precise control over water absorption and erosion rates, thereby achieving a controlled release profile for encapsulated TQ, which enhances targe

It is, thus, of paramount importance to predict the behavior and capabilities of these new reflectometry systems using synthetic diagnostics. Finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) time-dependent codes allow for a comprehensive description of reflectometry but are computationally demanding, especially when it comes to three-dimensional (3D) simulations, which requires access
