This thesis intends to explain the methodology, statistical processes and thought process behind the country selection for a Small and Medium Enterprise, with particular focus on the Shipping Industry and driving forces behind its development. A thorough analytical approach made using different methods of clustering and country ranking, as well as a qualitative analysis, lead to the selection of Germany as the best option to internationalize out of a shortlist of 33 countries.
