Abstract:
Pentingnya untuk mengetahui besar tegangan maksimum dan faktor keamanan maksimum pada material crankshaft sepeda motor Suzuki Smash dengan bantuan Software Solidworks 2012. Bahan material yang dipilih untuk crankshaft adalah Alloy Steel. Melalui penggunaan software maka akan lebih mudah menampilkan gaya aksi dan reaksi pada crankshaft akibat pembebanan gaya radial yang diterima oleh crankshaft sebesar 1,4 N. Prosedur penelitian di mulai dengan mengukur dimensi crankshaft dari motor Suzuki Smash kemudian dibuatkan model 3D untuk menganalisis. Hasil analisa ditampilkan berupa gambar yang menunjukan distribusi tegangan pada Crankshaft. Dari hasil analisa software disimpulkan bahwa tegangan maksimum pada Crankshaft sebesar 8,74 x10-3 N/mm² dengan faktor keamanan terendah sebesar 8,09 x 1012.

Abstract:
The body weight of post-stroke patients varies from one another, this can affect material selection. In this study, the researchers designed a three-wheeled frame using various types of material and the same material size including: galvanized pipe, stainless pipe (AISI 304), mild steel pipe (ASTM A36), Alloy Steel pipe to obtain a safe design for sufferers post-stroke, the skeletal design was analyzed statically using Soliworks 2012 software to obtain the results of analysis in the form of: Von Mises Voltage, Safety Factor (Strain) and Strain (Displacement). Static analysis of Post-Stroke Tricycle Design results obtained the greatest Von Mises Voltage value on ASTM A36 type material with a stress value of 154.5 N/mm2 (MPa) and the smallest stress value in Galvanized type material with a stress value of 150.8 N/mm2 ( MPa). Based on the results of the analysis of Safety Factors (Safety of Factor) so that the design can be said to be safe for patients after stroke, the type of material that must be used is Alloy Steel with a value of Safety Factor (Safety of Factor) of 5.49.

Abstract This paper presents the results of comparative analysis of modeling accuracy the freeform surface constructed by using a variety of algorithms for surface modeling. Also determined the accuracy of mapping the theoretical freeform surface described by mathematical equation. To model surface objects used: SolidWorks 2012, CATIA v5 and Geomagic Studio 12. During the design process of CAD models were used: profile curves, fitting parametric surface and polygonal mesh. To assess the accuracy of the CAD models used Geomagic Qualify 12. On the basis of analyse defined the scope of application of each modeling techniques depending on the nature of the constructed object.

Abstract:
Using the finite element method and CAD SolidWorks Simulation, the relationship between the geometric parameters of workpieces and the error in processing flat surfaces of levers caused by elastic deformations of the workpiece due to the application of holding force is established. In this paper, we developed a method for determining the error of processing flat surfaces that occurs from fixing, compiled a model for determining the error by the finite element method, and calculated the error of processing flat surfaces that occurs from fixing for workpieces with different geometric parameters. As a result of the study, the relationship between the value of the center distance of workpieces and the error in processing flat surfaces of levers caused by elastic deformations of the workpiece due to the application of holding forces was determined.

Abstract:
This study investigates the influence of asymmetric involute teeth profiles for helical gears on the bending stress. Theoretically, bending stress has been estimated in spur involute gears which have symmetric teeth profile by based on the Lewis, 1892 equation. Later, this equation is developed by, Abdullah, 2012. to determine the effect of an asymmetric tooth profile for the spur gear on the bending stress. And then these equations are applied with stress concentration factor once for symmetric and once other for asymmetric teeth profile. In this paper, the bending stresses for various types of helical gear with various types of asymmetric teeth profile are calculated numerically for defined the stress concentration factor. The numerical solution based on the finite element method technique which that done by using the software simulation SolidWorks 2016. The results of this study indicate that the helical gear drive with asymmetric teeth profile having 'loaded side pressure angle' of ( ) and 'unloaded side pressure angle' of ( ) is better than a helical gear with standard teeth profile having pressure angle of ( ) from the regarding of tooth bending strength. Also, notes that the great enhancement in the results of maximum tooth bending stress for modified involute of tooth profile compared with the standard teeth profile. In addition to, predict the equation of stress concentration factor which is a function of both unloaded side pressure angle and helix angle and then it used with Abdullah equation for to determine the nominal stresses in the root fillet.

Abstract:
Purpose – This work aims to present the design of a new continuous tool-path strategy for open-source low-cost fused deposition modeling (FDM) machines, such as Fab@Home or RepRap; and the development of an innovative integrated tool to design and fabricate customized tracheal stents with any FDM machine and six patient parameters. Both contributions were validated and implemented by obtaining a customized medical-grade silicone tracheal stent. Design/methodology/approach – For the design of the new deposition strategy, a Python programming language was used. The new tool-path strategy was proposed as a continuous path to avoid drops and gaps and to improve the accuracy of the final model. Meanwhile, patient parameters were obtained by medical doctors and introduced into the innovative integrated system. On the one hand, one mold generated automatically, and viewed with Matlab® software, was fabricated with a Fab@Home machine, optimized with the continuous tool-path strategy. On the other hand, the same generated mold was viewed in SolidWorks/Excel software and was fabricated using a commercial FDM machine. Finally, the mold was filled with medical grade silicone, and a silicone tracheal stent was obtained. Findings – Path planning for extrusion technologies is still a major concern, especially for open-source FDM machines. The results obtained in this work show the benefits of applying the newly developed continuous tool-path strategy to optimize the performance and efficiency of these machines. In addition, the proposed innovative integrated system allows the fabrication of customized tracheal stents rapidly and affordably. Practical implications – The possibility of obtaining customized tracheal stents is a worthy challenge. Medical doctors could play a more active role and interact during the design process, helping to obtain more suitable stents. The method proposed herein would provide the opportunity to obtain real values from the trachea of a patient in the operating room and quickly fabricate a customized stent that would fit the patient's trachea perfectly. Originality/value – The results obtained in this work are relevant and have future applications in both the medical and the additive manufacturing fields. The optimized tool-path strategy can help to improve and enhance the use of low-cost FDM machines. Moreover, the innovative automatic design approach to fabricate tracheal stents may open new market opportunities in the medical device field.

Untuk itu, dilakukan analisis tegangan statik pada steering knuckle mobil listrik Ganesha Sakti (Gaski) dengan menggunakan software solidworks 2014 dengan perbandingan pembebanan berat tanpa pengendara dan ditambah berat pengendara. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui distribusi tegangan serta daerah kritis yang terjadi pada steering knuckle. Setelah proses analisis dilakukan, didapatkan tegangan von misses maximum untuk steering knuckle standar dengan ditambah berat pengendara sebesar 2,733 × 108 N/m2 dan steering knuckle modifikasi sebesar 2,383 × 108 N/m2. Abstract:
When performing anterolateral foraminotomy for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, the extent of uncinate process resection affects the stability of the cervical spine. The aim of this study was to determine the stability of the cervical spine after resection of various amounts of the uncinate process. Based on computed tomography (CT) scans of an adult male volunteer, a three-dimensional geometric model of the cervical spine (C4-C6) was established using Mimics 13.1, SolidWorks 2012, and ANSYS 15.0 software packages. Next, the mechanical parameters of the tissues were assigned according to their different material characteristics. Using the tetrahedral mesh method, a three-dimensional finite element model of the cervical spine was then established. In modeling uncinated process resection, two excision protocols were compared. The first excision protocol, protocol A, mimicked the extent of resection used in current clinical surgical practice. The second excision protocol, protocol B, employed an optimal resection extent as predicted by the finite element model. Protocols A and B were then used to resect the left uncinate process of the C5 vertebra to either 50% or 60% of the total height of the uncinate process. The stability of the cervical spine was assessed by evaluating values of deformation and maximum equivalent stress during extension, flexion, lateral bending, and rotation. After protocol A resection, the total deformation was increased as was the maximum equivalent stress during left and right rotation. After protocol B resection, the total deformation was little changed and the maximum equivalent stress was visibly decreased during left and right rotation. As evidenced by these results, protocol B resection had relatively little effect on the stability of the cervical spine, suggesting that resection utilizing the limits proposed in protocol B appears to better maintain the stability of the cervical spine when compared with current clinical surgical practice as replicated in protocol A.

Frame adalah salah satu komponen yang sangat penting dalam sebuah kendaraan, yang berfungsi sebagai penopang penumpang, mesin, suspensi, sistem kelistrikan dan lain-lain. Melihat fungsi dari frame sangat penting, maka dalam merancang sebuah frame harus diperhitungkan dengan baik. Banyak sekali jenis pengujian yang sering dipakai dalam perancangan sebuah struktur frame, salah satunya adalah digunakannya metode komputasi dengan menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui distribusi tegangan, regangan, displacement, dan safety factor dari hasil pembebanan statis pada frame gokar. Struktur frame didesain dan dianalisis menggunakan software Solidworks 2016. Material yang digunakan frame adalah baja AISI 1045 hollow tube 273,2 mm, dengan menggunakan pembebanan pengendara sebesar 50 kg dan 70 kg. Hasil dari perhitungan manual didapatkan tegangan maksimum sebesar 4,735 107 N/m2, sedangkan dari simulasi didapatkan sebesar 4,516 107 N/m2. Regangan maksimum didapatkan dari perhitungan manual sebesar 2,310 10-4. Displacement maksimum didapatkan dari perhitungan manual sebesar 1,864 108 mm, sedangkan dari simulasi didapatkan sebesar 1,624 108 mm. Safety factor minimum didapatkan dari perhitungan manual sebesar 11,193, dan perhitungan simulasi didapatkan sebesar 11,736. The frame is one of the most important components in a vehicle, which functions as a support for passengers, engines, suspensions, electrical systems and others. Seeing the function of the frame is very important, so designing a frame must be taken into account well. There are many types of tests that are often used in the design of a frame structure, one of which is the use of computational methods using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of stress, strain, displacement, and safety factor from the results of static loading on the kart frame. The frame structure was designed and analyzed using Solidworks 2016 software. The material used in the frame is steel AISI 1045 hollow tube 27 3,2 mm, using a rider load of 50 kg and 70 kg. The result of manual calculation shows that the maximum stress is 4,735 107 N/m2, while the simulation results are 4,516 107 N/m2. The maximum strain is obtained from manual calculation of 2,310 10-4. The maximum displacement is obtained from manual calculations of 1,864 108 mm, while the simulation results are 1,624 108 mm. The minimum safety factor obtained from manual calculation is 11,193, and the simulation calculation is 11,736.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi Software Solidworks 2014 dan Adobe Flash CS3, pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Dasar Otomotif (TDO) materi Motor Bakar. 2) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi Software Solidworks 2014 dan Adobe Flash CS3, pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Dasar Otomotif (TDO) materi Motor Bakar kelas X TBSM di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian (R&D) Research and Development, dengan model pengembangan 4D (Four D models), yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define) tahap perancangan (design) tahap pengembangan (development) dan penyebaran (deseminate). Pada penelitian ini baru dilakukan 3 tahap, Hasil validitas dari 1) Ahli materi yaitu sangat layak dengan persentase 85.33%, 2) Ahli media memberikan hasil dengan persentase sebesar 90% sehingga kriteria dari segi media sangat layak, 3) Uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase sebesar 86.5%, sehingga dapat dinyatakan dalam kriteria sangat layak, 4) Uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase sebesar 89.2%. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini dapat dinyatakan sangat layak dari segi materi, dan media serta tanggapan dari siswa, sehingga media ini dapat dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran. This study uses a type of research (R&D) Research and Development, with a 4-D development model (Four D model), which consists of 4 stages, namely the stage of defining, the design phase of development and the development of deseminate). In this research, only 3 stages have been carried out. The results of the validity of 1) Theory experts are very decent with a percentage of 85.33%, 2) Media experts give results with a percentage of 90% so that the criteria in terms of the media are very feasible, 3) Small group trials get a percentage of 86.5%, so that it can be stated in very feasible criteria, 4) Large group trials get a very feasible criterion with a percentage of 89.2%. Based on the results of the discussion of this research and development can be declared very feasible in terms of material, and the media and responses from students, so that this media can be declared very feasible to use for learning. This study clarifies the differences between additive manufacturing and traditional manufacturing and the differences in product properties. The fatigue life of 3D printed dental implants was studied by finite element analysis. Pure titanium dental implant made by Concept laser3D printer in Germany is modelled by Solidworks 2016. Finite element analysis was performed in Ansys17.0 and the fatigue lifetime test is predicted in its post-processing system. These components are assembled by software Solidworks according to ISO14801. The maximum and minimum values of each index are obtained in the fatigue post process.

Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis tegangan statik pada rancangan frame Mobil Listrik Ganesha Sakti (Gaski) berbahan material Carbon Steel ASTM A106 dengan menggunakan Software Solidworks 2014 dengan tanpa beban pengendara (massa frame di perhitungkan) dan pembebanan dari pengendara pada frame standar dan modifikasi. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi tegangan serta daerah kritis yang terjadi pada frame. Setelah proses analisis dilakukan, didapatkan tegangan von mises maksimum untuk frame standar dengan tanpa beban pengendara sebesar 8,639 x 107 N/m2 dan frame modifikasi sebesar 7,561 x 107 N/m2. Untuk frame standar dengan beban pengendara sebesar 2,023 x 108 N/m2 dan frame modifikasi sebesar 1,759 x 108 N/m2. Faktor keamanan frame standar dengan tanpa beban pengendara sebesar 4,62999 dan frame modifikasi sebesar 5,29038. Untuk frame standar dengan beban pengendara sebesar 1,97691 dan frame modifikasi sebesar 2,2734. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut didapatkan bahwa setelah di lakukan modifikasi pada frame terdapat beberapa perubahan diantaranya terjadi penurunan tegangan maksimum dengan tanpa beban pengendara sebesar 12,5% dan dengan beban pengendara sebesar 12,87% serta faktor keamanan dari frame setelah di modifikasi meningkat dengan tanpa beban pengendara sebesar 13,21% dan dengan beban pengendara sebesar 12,66% sehingga dapat di simpulkan frame modifikasi lebih baik dan kuat di bandingkan dengan frame standar.Kata Kunci : Frame, Analisis Tegangan Statik, Carbon Steel ASTM A106, Solidworks 2014, Tegangan Von Mises, Faktor Keamanan This research was a static stress analysis on Ganesha Sakti Electric Car (Gaski) frame design made of Carbon Steel ASTM A106 material using Solidworks 2014 Software without the rider (frame mass in calculation) and with the rider’s load on standard and modified frames. The aim was to know the distribution of stresses and critical areas that occur in the frame. After the analysis process was done, the maximum von mises stress for the standard frame without the rider was 8.639 x 107 N/m2 and the modified frame was 7.561 x 107 N/m2. For the standard frame with rider’s load was 2.023 x 108 N /m2 and the modified frame was 1.759 x 108 N /m2. Factor of safety of standard frame without the rider was 4.62999 and the modified frame was 5.29038. Then, for the standard frame with the rider’s load was 1.97691 and the modified frame was 2.2734. From these results, this research showed that after the frame was modified there were some changes including the maximum stress drop without the rider was 12.5% and with the rider’s load was 12.87% and the factor of safety of the frame after the modified increased without the rider was 13.21% and with rider load was 12.66% so it can be concluded modified frame better and stronger than standard frame.keyword : Frame, An analysis of static stress, Carbon Steel ASTM A106, Solidworks 2014, Von Mises stress, Factor of safety.

ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate the frequent use of ProTaper Next (PTN; Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) systems on shaping ability of root canal utilizing Solidworks (2014, Dassault Systèmes) software. Materials and methods Thirty-six root canals in clear resin blocks (Dentsply-Maillefer) were allocated into six experimental groups (n = 36). Six new sets of PTN instruments (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) were used six times to shape the resin blocks. A #15 K-file was inserted to the working length (WL), followed by ProGlider (PG) to create a glide path. Sequential use of PTN instrumentation in a crown-down technique was used to reach size (30/07) apically. Macroscopic photos of the blocks were taken before and after instrumentation, layered by Paint Shop Pro 9 from JascSoftware®, and then canal transportation was measured using Solidwork 2014. The data were analyzed by SPSS software version 22. Multivariate statistical analysis general linear model (GLM) was also applied. Bonferroni correction test was used in multiple comparisons and the statistical significance was set to 0.05. Results There was no difference in canal transportation resulted from utilizing PTN files after six multiple uses; in addition, the PTN files showed ability to maintain the original canal anatomy, especially in the apical level, where lowest total mean value of canal center displacement was seen (3 mm level) (0.019 ± 0.017). Conclusion ProTaper Next files can be used to prepare single and multiple canals in a single furcated tooth. Clinical significance ProTaper Next nickel-titanium (NiTi) file system is a safe instrument that respects the canal shape, allows practitioners to treat difficult cases with good results, and low risk of separation. This paper presents a new design and modeling fundamentals of gripper and cutting system for 5 degree of freedom robotic arm, designed to harvest sweet peppers in horticultural green house. The design consists of two parallel jaws mounted on gears and operated with the help of servo motor. The same servo motor was used to operate the cutting system which was composed of scissors. The complete system was designed to operate by using one servo motor only. The system model was developed in SolidWorks and tested for different kinematic and dynamic performances. The performance of the gripper and cutting tool system has been evaluated through simulation to determine the design parameters of practical prototype. Based on the design concept, practical prototype of the gripper and cutting system was developed by considering the results obtained by model developed in SolidWorks. The developed prototype was tested to verify the feasibility and reliability of the model developed in Solid-Works. The performance and practical application of the developed prototype was verified and validated by conducting experiments in the lab and greenhouse and comparing the results with simulation results.

Salah satu variabel untuk mengetahui kekuatan konstruksi dari ragum adalah dengan mengukur tegangan yang terjadi ketika saat melakukan pencekaman. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan material ragum saat terjadi pembebanan dengan nilai gaya 94,75 KN dan divariasi lebih rendah serta lebih tinggi dari nilai tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan secara simulasi dengan menggunakan software SolidWorks 2013. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa tegangan maksimum yang diakibatkan ialah 51,811,816 N/m2 serta variasi gaya yang diberikan menghasilkan tegangan maksimum yang masing-masing nilainya ialah 51,267,120 N/m2 dan 52,358,640 N/m2, nilai dari tegangan maksimum yang dihasilkan dari analisa simulasi tersebut masih dibawah dari batas kekuatan luluh material (yield strength) material konstruksi ragum itu sendiri, dengan menggunakan material ASTM A36 yang mempunyai kekuatan luluh 250 X 106 N/m2, oleh karena itu displacement dan Strain yang terjadi akibat dari pencekaman masih bersifat sangat elastis, untuk deformasi maksimum hanya mencapai 0,02548 mm serta regangan maksimum hanya terjadi sampai 0,0001859 mm.

Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью создания оптимальных фильтров, конструкция и физические принципы которых обеспечивают замедление процессов кольматации, снижение гидравлического сопротивления и длительный период эксплуатации. Цель: разработать самоочищающийся фильтр оптимальной, с точки зрения гидродинамики, конструкции. Объект: скважинный самоочищающийся фильтр, требующий улучшения гидродинамических характеристик течения жидкости за счет изменения конструкции перфорационных отверстий. Методы: компьютерное моделирование гидродинамической задачи течения жидкости в скважинном самоочищающемся фильтре с использованием прикладного программного продукта SolidWorks. Результаты. Описана предложенная авторами конструкция частицеудерживающего скважинного самоочищающегося фильтра, оснащенная системой вращающихся постоянных магнитов. Магнитное поле, создаваемое при вращении постоянных магнитов, обеспечивает существенное снижение процессов кольматации. Дальнейшее совершенствование конструкции связано с понижением гидравлического сопротивления, препятствующего проникновению откачиваемой жидкости в полость фильтра. Приведена методика создания имитационной модели для решения внутренней гидродинамической задачи течения жидкости в скважинном самоочищающемся фильтре с использованием прикладного программного пакета SolidWorks. Моделирование предназначено для имитации прохождения текучей среды (воды) через цилиндрические отверстия в стенке фильтра в направлении снаружи внутрь. Исследованы гидродинамические эффекты и основные физические параметры, имеющие место в результате прохождения жидкости через цилиндрические перфорационные отверстия. Выполненное моделирование течения откачиваемой жидкости в скважинном самоочищающемся фильтре позволило установить оптимальную конструкцию сверления перфорационных отверстий в каркасе фильтра и оптимальную длину фильтра, равную 0,4 мощности пласта.

The paper investigates 6-DOF manipulator link, consisting of pneumatic as well as electromagnetic actuators. A motion of upper platform of the link is reached by pneumatic actuators, namely air-springs. The main focus of this research is analysis of air-spring and its properties. From this reason FEM analysis is done in software SolidWorks. In the conclusion the results are discussed. Pneumatic actuators can play interesting role in order to be possible to change the mechanical properties of the manipulators. Target setting. Using pneumatic actuators the manipulator gets new properties like changing stiffness. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. The statement of basic materials. This paper investigates the area of modeling in software SolidWorks. At first CAD model of new segment for hyperredundant manipulator is introduced and its basic parts are described. Then, in the preprocessing phase, the detailed steps of its setup SolidWorks computation core were described. The second half of the article is to focus on the calculation and assessment of simulation results. Conclusions. The paper introduces new kind of manipulator link. Pada aplikasi Solidworks 2014 dapat dilakukan simulasi untuk mengetahui bagian kendaraan yang mengalami stress dan displacement terbesar.Beban yang diterima oleh roda depan dan belakang pada kendaraan akan berbeda sesuai dengan desain dari rangka kendaraan tersebut. Velotaxi merupakan prototype city car dengan target perbandingan pendistribusian bobot yang diterima oleh roda depan : roda belakang sebesar 60% : 40%. Velotaxi didesain memiliki sebuah rollbar sebagai perlindungan untuk pengemudi dari benturan atas. Proses rancang bangun prototype Velotaxi melalui dua pengujian, yaitu pengujian pembebanan rollbar dan juga penimbangan distribusi bobot. Pengujian rollbar dilakukan dengan cara memberikan beban dari arah normal pada rollbar dengan beban minimum berat total kendaraan atau tanpa pengemudi. Pengujian distribusi bobot dilakukan dengan cara menimbang setiap bagian roda kendaraan ketika rangka diberi beban pengemudi dan penumpang.Distribusi bobot prototype Velotaxi dihitung menggunakan perhitungan batang statis dengan hasil hitungan 49,53% : 50,47%. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan hasil pendistribusian bobot 128 kg : 124 kg atau 50,8 % : 49,2%. Hasil perhitungan tidak terpaut jauh dari hasil pengujian. Perhitungan angka keamanan menunjukkan hasil akhir 16,44 yang berarti bahwa rangka prototype Velotaxi aman untuk digunakan.

Based on SolidWorks software, a dynamics virtual prototyping is utilized to develop a physical sonic driller by demonstrating collision detection and optimizing overall layout and key component structures. Key hydraulic and structural parameters are optimized using a mathematical model. Search for the optimized parameters and operating conditions for this multi-body mechanical system is conducted experimentally. The practical results show that the virtual prototype technology not only shortens the design cycle but also improves the quality of the conventional design. The new sonic driller designed by this method is both environmentally friendly and smarter.

Abstract:
During the research dealing with design of a special wheel for movement on stairs it was discovered by simulations and tests on a scaled prototype that velocity of the chassis relatively to the stairs slightly oscillates when the rotation speed of the wheels is constant. The article describes a way of determination of required angular velocity of the shaped special wheels that would ensure constant velocity of the chassis during movement on stairs. To solve this task, contact kinematic simulations in the CAD system SolidWorks 2014 were used.

This test stand has been composed as requirements include in standard PN-92/M-73763. The results of experimental and simulation investigations for standard five ways and two position pneumatic distributor have been presented. In simulations have been used CFD of SolidWorks Flow Simulation application. Flow characteristic of pneumatic distributor is necessary for design process of special pneumatic circuits of UAV launchers. CFD methods allow specify flow characteristics. Simulation research allow effective pneumatic components modification, whose used of special pneumatic circuits of UAV launchers. Results of experimental and simulation investigations were analyzed and compared.

Penanganannya yang paling sederhana yaitu membersihkan dudukan dari kotoran-kotoran tadi secara intensif dan dilakukan pelumasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan gambaran tentang simulasi aliran pada ball valve dan butterfly valve. Dan menjelaskan perbandingan tekanan, temperatur dan kecepatan distribusi air pada dua jenis valve. Tekanan fluida pada kondisi tertutup berbeda dengan kondisi terbuka. Hal ini akan berdampak terhadap kekuatan ball valve dan butterfly valve. Tekanan yang besar atau melebihi spesifikasi akan mempengaruhi mekanisme kerja dan kekuatan material. Pengaruh tekanan ini menjadi sangat penting dalam ball valve dan butterfly valve karena tekanan fluida dengan temperatur, pada kondisi tertentu bisa di luar batas spesifikasi khususnya pada ball valve Sanitary SS316 Mounting Pad 3 inci dan butterfly valve Sanitary SS 304 3 inci. Its function can close or open the flow, control the flow rate, divert flow, prevent backflow, control pressure, or reduce pressure. The problem commonly encountered is that the valve closure is not perfect due to the impurities that prevent the cover from closing completely. The simplest handling is to clean the holder from the dirts earlier and do lubrication. This study aims to explain the description of the flow simulation on ball valve and butterfly valve. This study also explain the comparison of pressure, temperature and velocity of water distribution in two types of valve heads. Fluid pressure under closed conditions is different from opening conditions. This will affect the strength of the ball valve and butterfly valve as a valve. Pressure that is large or exceeds specifications will affect the working mechanism and material strength. The effect of this pressure becomes very important in the ball valve and butterfly valve because of fluid pressure with temperature under certain conditions it can be out of the specification limits, especially in Sanitary SS316 Mounting Pad 3-inch ball valve and SS 304 3 inch Sanitary butterfly valve. AbstractIndustrial robots often use planetary gear system to have high joint torques; therefore, the influence of the rotary inertia of the number of the equally spaced planet-gears on the dynamical behavior of the robot is very important. The main objective of this paper is to develop the dynamic modeling of robot actuated by (n) equally spaced planet-gears in the case where the planet-carrier is fixed, no closed solution has been reported for this dynamic modeling, and to compare between the dynamic behavior of robot actuated by (n+1) and (n) equally spaced planet-gears for a same trajectory planning. The authors derive the explicit dynamic model for an elbow down of 2-R manipulator holding an external mass. Finally, the obtained simulation results by using Matlab/Simulink of the dynamic modeling are verified by modeling the same robot and using an advanced simulation via SolidWorks (2014).

The properties of ring and traveller have a direct relationship with the yarn qualities and spinning speed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the mutual relationships of flange ring and traveller system by taking the 6802-type traveller with rectangular structure, BU-type traveller with toxoplasma structure and 772-type traveller with corrugated structure as examples.Design/methodology/approachFirst, the theoretical calculation models of force and inclinations of the traveller are given, and calculation methods of corresponding key parameters referred in the models are presented. Then, by using SolidWorks software, models of the three kinds of traveller straddling on the PG1-4254 type ring are built, and the traveller and ring are simulated by using ADAMS software. By using MATLAB software, the force and inclinations of the traveller during the rotation around ring are simulated. Finally, the spinning experiments are made.FindingsIt is shown that the abrasion of 6802-type traveller is the most serious, and corresponding yarn evenness and hairiness is the worst. The abrasion of BU-type traveller is the slightest, and corresponding yarn evenness is the best. The yarn spins by using 772-type traveller has the least hairiness.Originality/valueIn the paper, the mutual relationships of flange ring and traveller system have been studied. The Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta team seeks to develop an urban-concept car to participate in the KMHE 2019. The KMHE (Energy Efficient Car Contest) is a competition for students to create safe, economical and environmentally friendly vehicles held by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the most critical components of a car is the body. The body should be able to protect the driver, and its specifications affect the vehicle's performance. Thus, this research is performed to obtain a sound body design. In designing the body, a three-dimensional visual design modeling using Solidworks 2016 is performed. The specifications of the body are following the KMHE regulations. Afterwards, mass calculation and flow simulation are performed to evaluate the performance of the design. The results are the total body mass is 38.35 kg, and the airflow on the body surface is dominated by laminar flow.

Aiming at high performance requirements of snake-like robots under complex environment, we present a control system of our proposed design which utilizes a STM32 as the core processor and incorporates real-time image acquisition, multisensor fusion, and wireless communication technology. We use Solidworks to optimize the design of head, body, and tail joint structure of the snake-like robot. The system is a real-time system with a simple-circuit structure and multidegrees of freedom are attributed to the flawless design of control system and mechanical structure. We propose a control method based on our simplified CPG model. Meanwhile, we improve Serpenoid control function and then investigate how different parameters affect the motion gait in terms of ADAMS emulation. Finally, experimental results show that the snake-like robot can tackle challenging problems including multi-information acquisition and processing, multigait stability, and autonomous motion and further verify the reliability and accuracy of the system in our combinatory experiments.

In order to predict pressing quality of precision press-fit assembly, press-fit curves and maximum press-mounting force of press-fit assemblies were investigated by finite element analysis (FEA). The analysis was based on a 3D Solidworks model using the real dimensions of the microparts and the subsequent FEA model that was built using ANSYS Workbench. The press-fit process could thus be simulated on the basis of static structure analysis. To verify the FEA results, experiments were carried out using a press-mounting apparatus. The results show that the press-fit curves obtained by FEA agree closely with the curves obtained using the experimental method. In addition, the maximum press-mounting force calculated by FEA agrees with that obtained by the experimental method, with the maximum deviation being 4.6%, a value that can be tolerated. The comparison shows that the press-fit curve and max press-mounting force calculated by FEA can be used for predicting the pressing quality during precision press-fit assembly.

The aim of this study is to investigate the capability of a 6-DoF parallel robot to perform various rehabilitation exercises. The foot trajectories of twenty healthy participants have been measured by a Vicon system during the performing of four different exercises. Based on the kinematics and dynamics of a parallel robot, a MATLAB program was developed in order to calculate the length of the actuators, the actuators’ forces, workspace, and singularity locus of the robot during the performing of the exercises. The calculated length of the actuators and the actuators’ forces were used by motion analysis in SolidWorks in order to simulate different foot trajectories by the CAD model of the robot. A physical parallel robot prototype was built in order to simulate and execute the foot trajectories of the participants. Kinect camera was used to track the motion of the leg’s model placed on the robot. The results demonstrate the robot’s capability to perform a full range of various rehabilitation exercises.
