Abstract:
Na koncertih Filharmonične družbe v Ljubljani do leta 1872 so bili solistični nastopi zelo pogosti. Delež domačih glasbenikov je bil v razmerju do tujih solistov mnogo večji. Najpogostejši so bili pevski solisti, tem so sledili pianisti in violinisti.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
The laboratory’s experiment conducted at IPAS in 2017. The goal of this study was to evaluate drought stress tolerance of released potato varieties using PEG-6000 in-vitro condition. Middle maturing variety Gala, early maturing Solist and Quarta were used experiment. The objectives were to determine how osmosis pressure affected potato plantlet height, root length, total weight of biomass, and stem diameter using their index comparing to normal condition. The screening experiment used three different treatments. The water stress treatments 0 MPa (control), -0.05 MPa and -0,15 MPa were created by PEG-6000. 6 weeks’ year’s old plantlets were measured by 5 features. The variety Gala showed significant high index by 5 performances among the stressed condition compared to Quarta and Solist. The variety Quarta also showed high performance compared Solist. As a result of this study found out that cultivar Gala more tolerant to drought than Quarta and Solist.

Abstract:
Webspinners in the genus Haploembia Verhoeff (Embioptera: Oligotomidae) were introduced into California from their native range in the Mediterranean region. In that region the genus has long been thought to comprise a single widespread species Haploembia solieri (Rambur) with both sexual and asexual populations and two additional sexual species with restricted ranges in the Mediterranean. For most of its known history in California, only asexual populations of Haploembia solieri were collected. However, within the last couple of decades, sexual populations have been discovered. The purpose of this project is to determine whether a single species of Haploembia solieri exists in California, which may imply reacquisition of sex, or whether these populations represent two or more species. To resolve this question DNA sequence data were acquired from multiple populations (sexual and asexual) of Californian, New Mexican, and Mediterranean Haploembia solieri, including both nuclear (histone 3) and mitochondrial (cytochrome oxidase I) genes. These data were included in a phylogenetic analysis to resolve relationships between these individuals. Our analysis shows asexual California specimens grouping with the asexual specimens from Sardinia; whereas the sexual California specimens group separately from both asexual specimens, and sexual Mediterranean specimens. Therefore, we conclude that there are two species of Haploembia introduced into California and at least three species involved in what was historically considered H. solieri.

Abstract:
The paper discusses the uses of black humour in women’s poetry after 1989, collected in the anthology Solistki (2009). The humour underlying these poems is subversive. A cruel joke may serve the purpose of individuation, provocation, or protection from suffering. Poetic narratives highlight the grotesque aspects of the world in order to uncover the stigmatising stereotypes of gender or the pressure of social norms grounded in lies. They become axiological gestures, stressing the independence of heroines. Tragicomic laughter is occasionally a form of casting a spell on reality, playing with the macabre – a protest against illness and death. A clownish mix of humour and terror consciously disrupts the logic of communication, showing the blurred limits of frank confession in postmodern poetry. Poetic works by the ‘female soloists’ are intertextual, autotelic, polystyle. They are characterised by an exaggerated creativity of imagery that refl ects a paradoxical, fl uid reality. Poetry by women moves from a poetic joke to a serious existential and philosophical statement.

This paper discusses the presence of solidi struck in Constantinople found in 5th and early to mid-6th century solidus hoards in the Western Empire, Italy in particular. Some 112 different solidus hoards in eleven regions are compared and evaluated. It is suggested that solidi from Constantinople in most of these hoards may be interpreted as the evidence of subsidies for the Western Empire. A possible cause for the uneven but lengthy supply of gold from Constantinople to the Western emperor could have been the fear of Western insolvency and ultimately a state bankruptcy.

Abstract:
This paper is a study of three solidus hoards located at strategic passages through the Italian Alps. It is argued that the hoards are connected to barbarian mercenaries in Roman service. The hoards are analysed and compared to historical sources and solidus hoards from Scandinavia. It is argued that it may be possible to distinguish between hoards that contain solidi used to pay for barbarian recruits and hoards that are proof of dilectio, bonus payments. In the latter case, it is argued that freshly minted solidi from northern Italy are more likely to represent dilectio than older and imported coins.
