Industrial dusts from the most powerful emmitants of airborne pollution are also analyzed. The aim of the study was to conduct magnetic and geochemical characterization of soils in Zaporizhzhia as a pre-war reference

This paper examines the distribution of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) among various soil particle sizes, with a focus on Fluvisol soils in Novi Sad, Serbia, which are distinguished for their high sand content. Potentially toxic elements (PTEs), as As, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, and Pb were analyzed in urban soil in the vicinity of major roads and distribution factors (DF) were calculated. Urban soil was initially collected as bulk samples and then separated into seven distinct particle size fractions through wet sieving. Based on the obtained results, the highest values were observed in the fines

Monitoring plots were selected that gave an idea of the sources of input, migration flows and zones of accumulation of heavy metals in soils and plants. High mobility of Zn, Pb, Ni, and Cu in soils was established, statistically significant linear correlations between the total content of Zn, Cg, Ni, Mn, Cr, and Pb in soils and plants were determined.

A major goal in Israeli and U.S. agroecosystems is to maximize nitrogen availability to crops while minimizing nitrogen losses to air and water resources. This goal has presented a significant challenge to global agronomists and scientists because crops require large inputs of nitrogen (N) fertilizer to maximize yield, but N fertilizers are easily lost to surrounding ecosystems where they contribute to water pollution and greenhouse gas concentrations. Determination of the optimum N fertilizer input is complex because the amount of N produced from soil organic matter varies with time, space an
