Abstract:
In this paper we describe a paradigm for content-focused matchmaking, based on a recently proposed model for constraint acquisition and satisfaction. Matchmaking agents are constraint-based solvers that interact with other, possibly human, agents (Customers). The Matchmaker provides potential solutions ("suggestions") based on partial knowledge, while gaining further information about the problem itself from the other agent through the latter's evaluation of these suggestions. The dialogue between Matchmaker and Customer results in iterative improvement of solution quality, as demonstrated in simple simulations. We also show empirically that this paradigm supports "suggestion strategies" for finding acceptable solutions more efficiently or for increasing the amount of information obtained from the Customer. This work also indicates some ways in which the tradeoff between these two metrics for evaluating performance can be handled.

Abstract:
The SUGGESTION BOX APPLICATION is a React-based web application designed to allow students to provide anonymous feedback and ratings to their faculty members. The platform is designed to make it easy for students to submit their feedback and ratings while ensuring anonymity. The students can also send the suggestions or requirements from their faculty along with their details. This application allows to place their feedback both anonymous and transparent. Faculty members can then use the platform to analyse the feedback and ratings using interactive data visualization tools built using React. Underpinning the interactive interface is the React JS library, enabling the creation of dynamic components and responsive elements. MySQL, a robust database, secures and organizes the feedback submissions, ensuring data integrity and user privacy. Moreover, the integration of MySQL database facilitates real-time communication between students and teachers, allowing for immediate responses andacknowledgments. The Suggestion Box project isn't just a solution; it's a catalyst for enhanced teacher & student relationships, improved educational methodologies, and the creation of a harmonious educational ecosystem. Abstract:
Abstract In this work, the approximate analytical solutions of the Generalized Hydrodynamic Equations (GHE) for turbulent flow in channel is presented. The general solution is a superposition of the laminar (parabolic) and turbulent (superexponential) solutions. The analytical solution compares well with the experimental data by Van Doorne (2007) and Nikuradse (1933). It is proposed to explain the nature of turbulence as oscillations between the laminar (parabolic) and turbulent (superexponential) solutions. The suggestion is confirmed by comparing the results for turbulent velocity fluctuations of the analytical formula with the experiment by Van Doorne (2007). The Navier-Stokes equations do not have the superexponential solution. The obtained analytical solution provides a complete structure of the turbulent boundary layer that compares well with the experiments by Wei and Willmarth (1989).

The practise of analysing and extracting meaningful information from enormous amounts of data is referred to as data mining. Data mining is used in a wide range of industries, including banking, retail, medicine, agriculture, and so on. In agriculture, data mining is utilised to investigate the various biotic and abiotic factors that influence crops. Agriculture is India's most important industry, providing the majority of work possibilities. One of the most common issues that Indian farmers confront is choosing the right crop for their soil. As a result, they are experiencing a major drop in output. Precision agriculture has provided farmers with a solution to this problem. Agriculture with pinpoint accuracy Precision agriculture is a modern agricultural strategy that uses research data on soil features, soil types, and crop yield data to recommend the best crop to produce based on site-specific parameters to farmers. Precision agriculture is gaining popularity.

Abstract:
Purpose – Suggestion systems have always been used as the means of continuous development and co-creating values among the employees of organizations. On the other hand, the co-creation has been introduced as a solution to co-create values between companies and customers. Since a simultaneous study on setting up suggestion systems and co-creation among employees and customers have been ignored so far, the purpose of this paper, focussing on the combination of two strategies of suggestion systems (generally more effective among the employees of organizations) and co-creation (studied so far merely the scope of customers), is to evaluate variables leading to intention to use, improvement in understanding the concept of justice, and positive word-of-mouth. Design/methodology/approach – Two between-subjects experiments were carried out to explore the interactional role of co-creation, reward, and time in efficiency of suggestion systems. The first study which was carried out among customers analyzed the effect of setting up suggestion systems along with co-creation on the amount of their intention to use this system in the future and positive word-of-mouth. The second study discussed the effect of setting up suggestion systems along with co-creation on the level of understanding organizational justice and commitment. Findings – The results indicate that the effectiveness of co-creation and tangible factors, such as offered reward, on improving the evaluation of suggestion system. In the other word, when firm’s encourage customers to participate in value co-creation program in suggestion system, they perceive more justice and intend to participate more in such program in future. Originality/value – Most of the previous studies carried out on co-creation considered its effectiveness on occasions when a service failure occurs to consumers and the service provider urgently needs service recovery, but this paper aimed to provide a collaborative perspective toward co-creation through suggestion system that puts emphasis on service experience, innovation, and intention to future participation in such programs.

Abstract:
In a recent article in Utilitas, Gerald Lang suggests a solution to the so-called ‘wrong kind of reason problem’ (WKR problem) for the buck-passing account of value. In two separate replies to Lang, Jonas Olson and John Brunero, respectively, point out serious problems with Lang's suggestion, and at least Olson concludes that the solution Lang opts for is of the wrong kind for solving the WKR problem. I argue that while both Olson and Brunero have indeed identified considerable flaws in Lang's suggestion for a solution to the WKR problem, they have not provided sufficient grounds for dismissing the kind of solution that Lang proposes. I show how a version of this kind of solution can be formulated so as to avoid both Olson's and Brunero's objections. I also raise some worries concerning an alternative solution to the WKR problem suggested by Sven Danielsson and Jonas Olson.

Abstract:
Expert critiquing systems present an interesting and important complement to conventional expert systems. The basic idea is to emphasize the support for the user's own decision making rather than to let the system independently suggest a solution to a given problem. Thus it is assumed that the user initially proposes a decision or course of action. The system then reviews this suggestion relative to known circumstance, tries to evaluate the proposed solution, provides suggestions for improvements, draws attention to possible risks, indicates alternatives, and evaluates their merits, etc. A critiquing system is characterized both by its approach to problem solving and by its style of interaction with the user, as will be detailed below.

Abstract: Many farmers, especially ones from underdeveloped and developing countries, rely on agriculture for their family's livelihood. Agriculture is the most useful and noble employment of man. Yet on the contrary agriculture industry holds a record for the highest death rate by profession. Thisfatality is a result of many reasons. One such reason is when the farmer does not get the proper yield due to a lack of knowledge regarding the soil quality and fertilizers to be used. The solution to this is an easily operable device that senses the soil nutrient components and analyses the values obtained to provide a detailed report, along with crop suggestions suitable for the soil, instantaneously through a message or web service. The device will collect information regarding the NPK percentages present in the soil on a regular basis. The Technologies involved in the device are Colorimetry, Python, Deep Learning, Flask, and Heroku. The analysis made by the device will suggest the farmer with a variety of crops that are suitable for their land. The farmer can then get the required seeds and fertilizers to get a greater yield. Abstract:
In this paper, the author analyzes Thomas Pogge?s thesis that citizens of affluent countries are violating the negative right of the global poor not to be harmed by lending their support to the current global institutional order. The author argues, however, that Pogge?s argument is unsatisfactory because he makes an unjustified leap from collective to individual responsibility. The author begins by assessing Pogge?s argument so as to elucidate the leap. Subsequently, the author examines two proposals which could complete his argument; nonetheless, the author argues that both proposals are unsatisfactory. The first suggestion - the participation argument - contains two conceptual inadequacies; moreover, if we were to accept this argument, we would also be committed to accepting an unsavory implication. Taking cue from Thomas Nagel?s ?rule in our name? argument, the author develops Pogge?s second suggestion - the political representation argument - that promises to bridge the gap in Pogge?s thinking. The issues of misrepresentation and of underrepresentation, however, undermine this proposal too.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to analyze the dependence of the neutron dose from the geometry of the second band of the maze using dosimetric measurements of neutrons and Monte Carlo simulations, and based on those results to design a novel radiotherapy room layout. Measurements of the neutron dose at a two-band maze therapy room were performed for a 15 MeV photon beam only. Monte Carlo simulations were performed using the GEANT4 toolkit. In order to obtain the geometry dependence, we were changing the second band angle while we kept the length, height, and width the same as in reality. Results show that the highest calculated dose was obtained for the 60? angle of the second maze. It is 17 % higher than for standard 0? angle. For 30? it was 30 % smaller and for 90? was 10% smaller. Although the lowest dose was obtained for 30? band angle with calculations, it is not very practical for clinical use. Clinically the most interesting would be the 90? angle which is practically a short three-band maze, which could be promising from the perspective of neutron radiation protection since it could offer a compact constructional solution, and better optimization of the available space.

Abstract:
In India, agriculture is the backbone of rural communities, with the majority of villagers relying on it as their primary livelihood. However, challenges such as disease management, soil quality assessment, and weed control often limit productivity. While Kisan call centers provide essential support, their effectiveness is constrained by communication barriers and the limitations of verbal explanations. This paper proposes an innovative solution through a machine learning- based mobile application designed specifically for farmers. The app enables users to upload images of paddy disease symptoms, soil test results, and weeds for analysis. Leveraging advanced algorithms, it provides automated, data- driven recommendations for disease control, crop management, and soil improvement. The app also offers local language interfaces, making it accessible to less educated farmers. By continuously refining its decision-making capabilities through user feedback, the app evolves to meet the specific needs of different regions and farming practices. This approach not only enhances efficiency and productivity but also empowers farmers with immediate, reliable expert advice, bridging the gap between traditional practices and modern technology. Ultimately, the application aims to significantly improve agricultural outcomes, contributing to the sustainability and growth of the farming sector in India. Abstract:
In early phases of design a wide exploration of the design space is crucial to the development of creative solutions. In this regard, Evolutionary Computation (EC), and in particular Genetic Algorithms, contain several qualities that can enhance exploration by opening the search process beyond the focus of finding a single "best" solution. Over the years many researchers in the area of creative thinking including Gordon, de Bono, Parnes, Osborn and others, have suggested design strategies that have interesting parallels in EC processes. For instance, a well known inhibitor of creative thinking is design fixation, where the suggestion of a particular solution makes it difficult to imagine other good solutions. Unlike many other computational search algorithms, EC methods work with populations of "fairly good" solutions. Therefore, there is less danger that creativity will be harmed by design fixation on one "best" solution. This paper shows through a specific example of a truss bridge how an EC based design exploration program can aid the designer by providing a selection of "pretty good" solutions rather than a single optimal solution. Other aspects of the EC program are also discussed including drawbacks to the method such as computational intensity as well as directions of future development.

Abstract:
The Journal Impact Factor is often used as a proxy measure for journal quality, but the empirical evidence is scarce. In particular, it is unclear how peer review characteristics for a journal relate to its impact factor. We analysed 10,000 peer review reports submitted to 1,644 biomedical journals with impact factors ranging from 0.21 to 74.7. Two researchers hand-coded sentences using categories of content related to the thoroughness of the review (Materials and Methods, Presentation and Reporting, Results and Discussion, Importance and Relevance) and helpfulness (Suggestion and Solution, Examples, Praise, Criticism). We fine-tuned and validated transformer machine learning language models to classify sentences. We then examined the association between the number and percentage of sentences addressing different content categories and 10 groups defined by the Journal Impact Factor. The median length of reviews increased with higher impact factor, from 185 words (group 1) to 387 words (group 10). The percentage of sentences addressing Materials and Methods was greater in the highest Journal Impact Factor journals than in the lowest Journal Impact Factor group. The results for Presentation and Reporting went in the opposite direction, with the highest Journal Impact Factor journals giving less emphasis to such content. For helpfulness, reviews for higher impact factor journals devoted relatively less attention to Suggestion and Solution than lower impact factor journals. In conclusion, peer review in journals with higher impact factors tends to be more thorough, particularly in addressing study methods while giving relatively less emphasis to presentation or suggesting solutions. Differences were modest and variability high, indicating that the Journal Impact Factor is a bad predictor of the quality of peer review of an individual manuscript.

Abstract:
Soil image classification is a critical task within the realms of agriculture and environmental applications. In recent years, the integration of deep learning has sparked significant interest in image-based soil classification. Transfer learning, a well-established technique in image classification, involves fine tuning a pre-trained model on a specific dataset. However, conventional transfer learning methods typically focus solely on fine-tuning the final layer of the pre-trained model, which may not suffice to attain high performance on a new task. HybridTransferNet, a unique hybrid transfer learning approach designed for soil classification based on images is proposed in this paper. HybridTransferNet goes beyond the conventional approach by fine tuning not only the final layer but also a select number of earlier layers in a pre-trained ResNet50 model. This extension results in substantially enhanced ability to classify when compared to standard transfer learning methods. Our evaluation of HybridTransferNet, conducted on a soil classification dataset, encompasses the reporting of various performance indicators, such as the F1 score, recall, accuracy, and precision. Our findings from experiments highlight HybridTransferNet's advantages over conventional transfer learning strategies, establishing it as a state-of-the-art solution in the domain of soil classification.

Abstract:
<em>The "Mock AI Interviewer for Real-Time Feedback and Suggestions" is an advanced AI-driven interview training system designed to transform the way candidates prepare for interviews by providing instant, data-driven feedback. Traditional interview preparation often lacks personalized insights and relies on subjective evaluation, leaving candidates uncertain about their strengths and areas for improvement. This system bridges that gap by analyzing both verbal and non-verbal cues&mdash; including speech patterns, grammatical accuracy, emotional expressions, and confidence levels&mdash;to generate a comprehensive, unbiased assessment of a candidate&rsquo;s performance. Leveraging cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning models, and emotion detection algorithms, the system offers real-time evaluations, allowing users to refine their communication skills, body language, and overall presentation dynamically. Unlike conventional coaching methods that depend on human evaluators, this AI-powered solution ensures objective, scalable, and bias-free assessments, making professional interview training more accessible and efficient. A key feature of this system is its multimodal approach, integrating video, audio, and text- based analysis to deliver actionable feedback. Candidates receive instant suggestions on aspects like speech clarity, emotional stability, fluency, and posture, enabling them to make immediate adjustments and track their progress over multiple sessions. By providing adaptive, interactive, and intelligent coaching, this AI- powered mock interviewer not only enhances individual preparation but also represents a significant step forward in AI- driven hiring and career development. This research highlights the growing role of AI in revolutionizing interview training, equipping candidates with data-backed insights to excel in real- world interviews.</em>

Abstract:
AbstractThomas Pogge and Andrew Kuper suggest that we should promote an ‘institutional’ solution to global poverty. They advocate the institutional solution because they think that non-governmental organizations (NGOs) can never be the primary agents of justice in the long run. They provide several standard criticisms of NGO aid in support of this claim. However, there is a more serious problem for institutional solutions: how to generate enough goodwill among rich nation-states that they would be willing to commit themselves to supranational institutional reforms. In the current international political climate, the implementation of such institutional reforms introduces several intractable problems, including difficulties of global coordination and enforcement. I defend the solution of NGO aid from the criticisms presented by Pogge and Kuper, and propose how it might be reformed. My main suggestion is that all practising NGOs should be required to be ‘accountable for reasonableness’ in the sense that Norman Daniels and James Sabin have outlined.

Abstract:
The rate of enolization and acetone has been determined as 6.6 × 10−4 s−1 at 193.5 °C under nitrogen at 136 atm total pressure via isotopic exchange. The rate of oxidation was determined to be 8.8 × 10−6 s−1 at 193.5 °C in 123 atm partial pressure of oxygen (136 atm total pressure). In a previous study it was shown that the rates of oxidation of several ketones correlated with the extents of enolization at room temperature. This prompted the suggestion that the enol is an intermediate in the oxidation. Since the rate of enolization exceeded the rate of oxidation by a factor of 75, this suggestion is further supported. A dependence of the rate of oxidation of acetone on oxygen concentration was also demonstrated.

Abstract:
The Supreme Court’s recent Confrontation Clause decisions have had a dramatic effect on domestic violence prosecution throughout the United States, sparking debate about possible solutions to an increasingly difficult trial process for prosecutors and the survivors they represent. In this Note, I revisit and reinterpret the suggestion by Professor Sherman J. Clark in his article, An Accuser-Obligation Approach to the Confrontation Clause,1 that we should view the Confrontation Clause primarily as an obligation of the accuser rather than a right of the accused. Specifically, I reevaluate Clark’s proposition using a gendered lens, ultimately suggesting a novel solution to the problem of the “victimless” domestic violence prosecution that would extend beyond the domestic violence context. An approach that views the Confrontation Clause as an accuser’s obligation, and focuses on the values of honor, courage, and respect, while simultaneously taking a gender-conscious approach in defining those values, will produce a body of jurisprudence that can satisfy the courts, academics, and advocates alike.

Abstract:
SummaryThe aim for seamless care that has long been the ultimate goal of good community psychiatry in the UK has disappeared, and there is now much needless argument over models of delivering care that ignore its main philosophy. It is argued that this ossification of care has not only made it ineffective, but has also promoted demoralisation and burn-out in the workforce, as the locus of control has shifted from clinician to managerial imperative. An initiative that can break up the opaque structures that hinder continuity of care is now available and a suggestion is made for a flexible, invigorated community care team system based on smaller catchment areas that allows a single team to combine the elements of assertive outreach, crisis resolution and early intervention with in-patient care.

Abstract:
The development of internet technology makes more information can be accessed. It makes information need to be organized in order to be easily managed. One solution can be used is by using the entity annotation approach which generates tags to represent that document. In this study, TAGME technology is implemented on a WordPress plugin, which is used to manage a blog. Moreover, information on Wikipedia &lsquo;Bahasa Indonesia&rsquo; is processed to generate an anchor dictionary which is required by the technology that is implemented. This plugin performs entity annotation by giving tag suggestion for posts in a blog. Testing is carried out by measuring the precision, recall, and of tag suggestions given by the plugin. The result shows that the plugin can give tag suggestions with precision 0.7638, recall 0.5508, and 0.59.

Until recently environmental noise pollution has attracted relatively little attention from Parliament. However, currently, noise is rapidly moving up the political agenda both in the United Kingdom and in the European Union. This article focuses on neighbourhood noise and examines the efficacy of the substantive law as an instrument of environmental control. Potential difficulties in employing nuisance-based environmental standards for noise are also discussed. The article concludes with the author's suggestion that the law is in need of reform. However, there is no single solution to the problem. Regulation, whatever form it takes, will not, of itself provide the complete solution to noise pollution.

Abstract:
What to do with the missing shade of blue (MSB)? Some have argued that Hume's famous thought experiment undermines his central doctrine – the ‘copy principle’ – such that he should have revised his whole theory in light of it. Others contend that the MSB is not a true or actual counterexample to the copy principle, but merely an apparent or conceivable one, so that he had no such obligation to revise. In this essay, I argue that even if the MSB is a true counterexample, Hume would not have been obligated to revise his theory, given methodological resources he makes available to himself elsewhere in his work and his overarching empiricist aims. And I offer a new suggestion for why he might have included and even highlighted the MSB in his writings despite its being so very vexing and peculiar.

Abstract:
Over the last decade, there is a huge amount of images in which visual information has become increasingly important. If the images are to be utilized, they must be organized into databases, from there it can be searched based on different criteria. Content-based Image retrieval (CBIR) frameworks have turned into a mainstream subject of exploration; for their ability to retrieve images based on the real visual content rather than by manually connected textual descriptions. In the CBIR framework, analysis and interpretation of image information in large and diverse image databases is evidently complex because there is no prior information on the size or scale of individual structures within the images to be analyzed. In CBIR, retrieval is based on visual image features, which can be extracted automatically from the images with the help of human intervention, namely a technique called relevance feedback. Nonetheless, an efficient way of differentiating the visual content of images is complex to produce. Therefore, rather than a perfect solution CBIR systems must be able to exploit a partial solution to the problem of image understanding. In this paper, there is implementation of a CBIR framework is introduced that not only tries to efficiently capture the user intent based on the feedback but also provide query suggestions that can help its users to pose better queries in order to retrieve desired results in an efficient manner. The proposed technique is straightforward to implement and scopes efficiently to huge datasets. Extensive experiments on diverse real datasets with image similarity measures have revealed the dominance of the proposed method over original algorithms.
