Full textThe present work focuses on disorders of the body image and is based on the clinical study of psychosis with special reference to a particular syndrome, first identified by the french school of psychiatry in 1927 and known as the fregoli delusion syndrome. Part 1 examines the genealogy of the fregoli syndrome and the way it was discovered in connection with the capgras syndrome. An outline of the main epistemological aspects of the discovery. Part 2 recalls the discussion of the fregoli syndrome in the field of psychiatry, including an analysis of the series it seems to fit in with quite naturally and which also includes the capgras syndrome and the syndrome of intermetamorphosis. Part 3 examines the neurological contribution to major clinical issues that can be assigned to the fregoli syndrome, especially as far as the disjunction between name and body image is concerned. Part 4 deals with the contribution of psychoanalysis to the above mentioned clinical issues, with an emphasis on the work of jacques lacan which allows us to underline their unity from a theoretical point of view. Lacan's formula, which he writes i(a), shows the image of the body, i, as based on the repression of an object, a, which the image both conceals and clothes. In the case of the fregoli syndrome, the formula will be split asunder, with the image on the one side, and the object on the other, but always with the same name for the patient. The final section deals with a structural analysis of the fregoli syndrome which makes it possible to caracterize with a remarkably small number of items: 1) the clinical varieties shown by the delusional misidentification syndromes; and 2) a wide range of identification and recognition psychopathological disorders. Full textThe core theme of our thesis is devoted to highlight how the working experience is elaborated. The instruction to one's double, which is a method of analysis applied to probe the subjective working activity, is the main object. The description given by a subject to a virtual double, supposedly taking his/her working place, leads this subject to make unconsciously lived through elaborated actions likely to be transmitted. Such a description gives access to the elaboration process thanks to the reconsidering of episodes that are written and accordingly commented afterwards. The purpose of the method is to help comprehend to what extent, by stimulating the subject's referential activity, the approach allows to bridge certain experimental schemata to words used by the subject to describe his/her own activity (1992, 1997). That is how the link established by Vygotsky (1934) between thought and speech is clinically investigated

Full textExamining the Amphitryon myth starts from the reflexion that is has been staged over and again through out centuries of literary history, becoming a referential scenario and being thusadapted by the most talented dramatists. From this starting point the following hypothesis arises. If only the footlights can make the myth shine, then a close link can be established between the questions born by the substitutions of identities and the theatre itself. In order to test this hypothesis, several unrecognised transformations of the myth were explored, such as mythological and historical dictionaries, gastronomic works, operas, uses of "amphitryon" as a substantive, and films. It then emerges that the theatrical treatment of the myth is specific and that staging the myth in a specular way revolves around two ideas questioning the notion of role : role and identity on the one hand, and role dealing with others on the other hand. After making the list of the works built on the myth and a definition of what could be called aesthetic of imitation, we narrow down our research to six authors - Plautus, Rotrou, Molière, Dryden, Kleist and Giraudoux - chosen so that comparing their Amphitryons be both justified and stimulating. In this study in comparative literature each play was thoroughly read sequence by sequence, character by character, particulary in the part called "Two in one : who is real one ? Game, identity and amorousfeeling. " After having shown why the characters are confronted to the necessity of taking on a identity of role, we demonstrate how theses plays stage characters in search of an ever problematictruth be it the truth in words, in people, in love, so many truths inseparable from the theatre

Full textLooking at schooling in deprived area, sociologists and pedagogists have pointed out that specific learning achievement might disappear for the benefit of social control under the slogan of the making of citizen through students' self-responsibility and self-awareness. In this thesis we analyse through observation and interviews the difficulties encountered by four PE teachers in maintaining quality content knowledge in deprived area schools. Grounded on the "didactique" approach and using the method of "instruction au sosie", the research highlights the idea that the teacher's didactical activity might be understood as "detained". It points out the tensions and the contradictions that teachers have to face all along the specific knowledge co-construction process engaged with their students. The results show that class management and instruction are combined, the search of class control does not dwindle the teachers' worries related to the content to be taught and learned during the didactical joint action. Teacher's epistemology appears a decisive element at the heart of their activity development. The thesis gives the opportunity to discuss the theoretical relations between didactics and ergonomics as fields of research

Full textThe purpose of this study is to examine how immigrants who have lived relatively few years in Norway, experience social integration in everyday life. The study refers to their experiences of interactions with Norwegians and others, as well as how language, culture, identity and feelings belonging are key factors for how the informants’ experience their social integration in Norway. A good social network is seen as a living resource (Djuve and Hagen, 1995), which means that having stable interpersonal relationships, social affiliation and feelings of belonging is essential for human existence and life situation. I am interested in finding out about the challenges they experience in interaction with others. The study is based on qualitative interviews with seven informants of Hispanic origin. This study is therefore based on the informants’ experiences and their descriptions of how they perceive their encounter with the Norwegians. The results shows that the informants who feel safest in the language and have a cultural feeling of belonging to both cultures are best integrated social. While the people who feel insecure in the language and more connected to their own culture experience limitations and challenges to get to know Norwegians. It is nevertheless expressed by most of the informants a desire to have more contact with Norwegians, as they feel that such contact is also important to feel a sense of belonging and that they fit in. But precisely language barriers, different understandings of culture and few points of contact with Norwegians in their spare time, appears as central constraints for this. For some of the informants, their need for social relationships is covered mainly by people who come from the same background, and these relationships appear to be central to their well-being and everyday life in Norway. By going into details on the individual experiences of how informants experience social relationships with the Norwegians, the results from this study can help to provide a detailed picture or understanding of the challenges some immigrants may experience in the encounter with Norwegians.

Full textThe workin this thesis deals with the development of anaeroelastic simulation tool for horizontal axis wind turbineapplications.
Horizontal axiswind turbines can experience significanttime varying aerodynamic loads, potentially causing adverseeffects on structures, mechanical components, and powerproduction. The need of computational and experimentalprocedures for investigating aeroelastic stability and dynamicresponse have increased as wind turbines become lighter andmore flexible.
A finite element model for simulation of the dynamicresponse of horizontal axis wind turbines has been developed.The simulations are performed using the commercial finiteelement software SOLVIA, which is a program developed forgeneral analyses, linear as well as non-linear, static as wellas dynamic. The aerodynamic model, used to transform the windflow field to loads on the blades, is a Blade- Element/Momentummodel. The aerodynamic code is developed by FFA (TheAeronautical Research Institute of Sweden) and is astate-of-the-art code incorporating a number of extensions tothe Blade-Element/Momentum formulation. SOSIS-W, developed byTeknikgruppen AB was used to develop wind time series formodelling different wind conditions.
The model is rather general, and different configurations ofthe structural model and various type of wind conditions couldeasily be simulated. The model is primarily intended for use asa research tool when influences of specific dynamic effects areinvestigated.
Simulation results for the three-bladed wind turbine Danwin180 kW are presented as a verification example.

Full textBackground:Norwegian surveys have reported that the health of immigrants compares negatively with the health of the general population. Norwegian society emphasizes thesocial and cultural value ofphysical activity such as swimming,andintegration policypromotes improved living conditions for immigrants. Moreover, inability to swim heightens the risk of drowning. Purpose: This study aimed to develop swimming instruction as a health-promoting intervention among immigrant women.It also examined whether such swimming lessons improve women's health by increasing skills and social integration. Method: Sixteen women from six different countries participated in swimminglessons between 15 November 2012 and 26 October 2013. This thesis used a triangulation of methods (i.e., surveys, group interviews,and observations)to investigate whether increased swimming skill, social integration, and other factors affect the health of immigrant women. I used qualitative content analysis to evaluate alldata. Results: As immigrant women became better swimmers, their sense of security in the water improved. Additionally, swimming enhanced cultural openness and personal development, and participants’ social networks expanded across cultures. Public swimming pools increasedsocial activity. Finally, as participants’perceptions of their own health improved,they encouraged their family and friends to learn how to swim. Conclusion: This intervention shows that activities organized for immigrant women promote factors that have a positive effect on health, such as improved swimming skills. Swimmingis a gateway to social integration
