Abstract With a growing need for specialized training for direct caregivers and support staff of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) affected by dementia, the National Task Group on Developmental Disabilities and Dementia Practices (NTG) developed a comprehensive evidence-informed Dementia Capable Care Training (DCCT). To overcome the challenge of the training length and cost, and to extend its dissemination, the Sonoran Center developed a shorter version of the NTG-DCCT while retaining its core components, and implemented it in seven cities in the U. Maps of (baseline) δ13C and δ15N values of primary producers or consumers near the base of food webs provide crucial information for interpreting patterns in the isotopic composition of consumers that occupy higher trophic levels. In marine systems, understanding how oceanographic variables influence these values enables the creation of dynamic isoscapes across time and space, providing insights into how ecosystems function. The San Jorge Gulf (SJG) in the southwest Atlantic Ocean (45° S–47° S) is an area of particular importance, as it is located on one of the most productive continental shel

Abstract The Lone Tree deposit is located in the northern Battle Mountain mining district, Nevada. Prior to mine closure in 2006, Santa Fe Pacific Gold and Newmont produced 4.2 Moz of gold at an average grade of 2.06 g/t at Lone Tree, primarily from the N-S– to NNW-SSE–striking Wayne zone. The ore is located between the Roberts Mountain and Golconda thrusts in siliciclastic rocks of the Ordovician Valmy Formation and in the Pennsylvanian-Permian Battle Mountain and Edna Mountain Formations, and above the Golconda thrust in siliciclastic and carbonate rocks of the Mississippian to Permian Haval

Abstract:
Background: Cardiac myxomas are benign cardiac neoplasms usually found solitarily located within a single cardiac chamber, most commonly in the left atrium. With no established cause, they are often thought to occur spontaneously with no particular genetic cause or external incitement. While it has been explored, there is no universally accepted correlation with myxoma formation following a cardiac ablation procedure. We propose the theory of an iatrogenic causation of cardiac myxoma formation, likely incited by the local tissue injury during the transseptal puncture of the interatrial wall. C

The distribution characteristics and formation of marine anoxic conditions through the Late Ordovician–Early Silurian (O–S) remain poorly resolved despite their importance in the preservation of sedimentary organic matter and the formation of black shale. In this study, the major, trace, and pyrite δ34S (δ34Spy) contents of 36 shale samples at the edge of the southwest depocenter of the Upper Yangtze Basin (Tianlin and Changhebian sections) were analyzed to understand the redox conditions, terrigenous clastic inputs, and primary productivity changes. The infrared dark cloud (IRDC) G14.225-0.506 is part of the extended and massive molecular cloud located to the southwest of the region M17. The cloud is associated with a network of filaments, which result in two different dense hubs, as well as with several signposts of star formation activity and a rich population of protostars and young stellar objects (YSOs). The aim of this work is to study the centimeter continuum emission in order to characterize the stellar population in both regions, as well as to study the evolutionary sequence across the IRDC G14.225-0.506. The Galapagos Islands are an oasis for ocean wildlife with more than 20% of their marine species[i] found nowhere else on Earth. This remote area, nearly 900 kilometers off Ecuador’s coast, was once a “living laboratory” that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. But today, the Galapagos is under siege by an industrial fishing fleet. In one month (July 13 – Aug. 13) nearly 300 Chinese vessels appeared to amass more than 73,000 hours fishing off the Galapagos Islands. This snapshot of fishing activity raises questions about the impact of this massive fishi

Е. Кулаковского, Г. У. Эргиса, Г. М. IntroductionThe debate about the responsibility of museums to respect Indigenous peoples’ rights (Kelly and Gordon; Butts) has caught our attention on the basis of our previous research experience with regard to the protection of the tangible and intangible heritage of the San (former hunter gatherers) in Southern Africa (Martin and Vermeylen; Vermeylen, Contextualising; Vermeylen, Life Force; Vermeylen et al.; Vermeylen, Land Rights). This paper contributes to the critical debate about curatorial practices and the recovery of Indigenous peoples’ cultural practices and explores how museums can
