Abstract:
SHRNUTI Rostlinne oleje mohou byt s vyhodou využity jako paliva pro vznětove spalovaci motory, protože jejich vlastnosti se bliži vlastnostem nafty. Avšak vyšši viskozita rostlinnych olejů ma za nasledek nespravne rozprašeni paliva během vstřiku, což vede k nedokonalemu spalovani. Viskozitu rostlinnych olejů je možne snižit transesterifikaci nebo smisenim s naftou. Tento članek se zabyva vyzkumem zaměřenym na studium vlastnosti neupraveneho a metyl esteru oleje rostliny jatropha cursus (jatropha) a ryžoveho oleje vyrobeneho z kličků obilky ryže a jejich směsi s naftou od 5 do 50 objemovych procent. S těmito palivy byly uskutečněny zkoušky na vznětovem motoru. Cilem zkoušek bylo dosaženi porovnavacich měřeni vykonů a emisi pro posouzeni a vypočet vlastnosti vznětoveho motoru při spalovani vyše uvedenych paliv. Sniženi emisi společně s vyšši efektivni učinnosti (BTE) a sniženim měrne spotřeby (BSEC) děla ze směsi (B -20 pro metyl estery a B -15 pro nezpracovane oleje) vyhovujici nahradu nafty. Vlastnosti těchto olejů jsou srovantelne s naftou.

Abstract:
This work thoroughly analyzes a previously created computational model for predicting characteristic properties of the combustion process in an experimental combustion chamber. Any found shortcomings of the original model are removed and the model is further improved prior to its application on 11 real cases of combustion tests performed at various conditions and with various fuels. Data provided by the model are confronted with the data obtained during the combustion tests and the model accuracy is evaluated, based on local heat flux along the length of the combustion chamber. Finally, the overall usefulness of the model is determined by the means of evaluating the acquired accuracy values, and further possibilities of model improvement and use are presented.

The diploma thesis deals with optimization of pellet boiler for agropellets combustion. On the Czech market are mostly available boilers for burning wood pellets. Specially adapted agropellet boilers are pretty expensive. The work is divided into two main parts. The first part contains a research of agropellets, agropellets production and combustions of agropellets. The second part is experimental and describes the combustion test. It describes the measurement procedure, the necessary calculations and evaluation.

Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with combustion of liquid biofuels, and possibility of using liquid biofuels for lower heat output power units. Overview of basic usable liquid biofuels in Czech Republic is executed in the beginning of the thesis. This part is focused especially on production method and energy effectivity of rape-oil methyl ester (RME) and bioethanol production. Overview of basic atomization method of liquid fuels is executed in next chapters. The focus is stressed on pneumatic atomization, especially effervescent atomization method, which was used in practical experiment. Practical part contains fossil fuel and selected biofuel (RME) combustion test executed on burner testing device. Basic combustion properties was found and test plan was made before executing the test. Various operating conditions are compared in terms of atomization quality, combustion quality and geometrical characteristics of flame. Usability of tested liquid biofuels for lower heat output power units is evaluated in the conclusion.

This thesis deals with the structural design of a test rig for combustion engine bearings with static and dynamic loading capabilities. The first part of thesis summarizes materials, geometries and possible bearing failures, then analyzes existing test rigs. The second part contains different solutions and summarizes these solutions to a final design. The last part contains analysis of possible failure of the test rig and solutions for these problems. The thesis contains drawings prepared for manufacturing and a design report.

The diesel engine emissions belong nowadays to most monitored issues, especially when it deals with the fine particles and their elimination from the exhaust fumes using the particle filters. This thesis deals with the reliability and durability of particle filters measured in the emissions of exhaust fumes. The thesis describes the different types of particle filters and methods of their regeneration. The individual measuring device has been described in order to comprehend all the processes that take place during the measurement. The author used mathematic methods to evaluate the income variables. In its practical part the thesis has evaluated – by using the statistical methods – the reliance of measured quantities in the exhaust fumes.
