Polarization filtering is a main method to suppress the interference in radar and other sensor systems. Based on the spatial polarization characteristic (SPC) of antenna, a spatial virtual polarization filter (SVPF) is proposed by constructing polarization decomposition and polarization estimation of the received signal. When a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver suppresses interference in a dynamic scene, the direction of the interference signal arriving at the receiver may change rapidly. The null formed by the spatial filtering based on the array antenna will become wider and shallower, and the anti-jamming performance will deteriorate. A null-steering control technique based on a dual projection algorithm is proposed in this paper, which can effectively increase the depth of the null. Abstract It is shown theoretically and experimentally that free space propagation in vacuum provides self-filtering of beam fluence fluctuations (spatial small-scale noise). The linear interference of the noise and the primary smooth beam during the propagation results in temporal filtering invoked by the noise pulse delay with respect to the primary beam pulse and in spatial filtering caused by the noise spatial walk-off from the aperture of the primary beam.

Introduction. Spatial filtering of signals is performed for the selection the signals of interest when the signals spectra overlap. The quality of spatial filtering depends on the accuracy of antenna array (AA) calibration, which allows estimation of the amplitude-phase distribution (APD) at all possible directions of arrival, thus ensuring the identity of reception paths. A mismatch between the actual and measured APD values leads to quality degradation in all spatial filtering methods.Aim. The BC sensor is relatively insensitive to the ambient noise compared to the conventional air-conduction (AC) microphone. Hence, BC speech can b

We argue that simply sharing the static filter for all regions is impertinent, given that the occlusion degree varies across different regions, resulting in inconsistent visual representations.
