Abstract:
The consolidation of the hospital market is being driven by economic constraints, as smaller facilities are often no longer able to operate profitably. The trend towards centralisation is being driven politically by the hospital reform and is intended to improve the quality of care through specialisation and concentration of resources. However, by 2022, only 1075 hospitals in Germany will still have the capacity to provide intensive care [1].

Abstract:
This article analyses the influence of industrial disparity and centralisation (concentration) on major industrial states in India. Accordingly, we are using two mathematical models: (a) localisation coefficients to identify major industries that are suffering by industrial concentration and (b) location quotient to measure regional industrial specialisation. Consequently, it shows the natural tendency of distribution of industries in a particular way between the six major Indian industrial states. Therefore, we determine the reasons for lack of industrialisation within those states. Afterward

To date, open stone surgery is now performed in a very limited number of selected cases. A review of our own cases revealed that open surgery constituted 1% of all procedures. These procedures were mostly ablative, or operations to deal with complications of failed minimally invasive therapies. Given two continuing trends towards sub-specialisation in urology on the one hand, and minimally invasive therapy on the other, the question arises whether and how sub-specialised stone surgeons should and can learn open stone surgery. Is it merely a lost art not to be bothered with, or is it something

Old concepts and problems that keep being validIn this paper I ponder on the dominance of the “narcistic culture,” or a culture in which narcissism disseminates as a basic behaviour type, with its characteristic values inspired by Ruth Benedict’s idea. I describe the “narcissism culture” typologically: I put it in an opposition towards the “culture of common good” and characterise it as a diffusive net of traits inspired by Alfred L. This paper argues that the pressures placed on translators working in a globalised context amount to a professional identity crisis which should also concern academic translator training programmes. Focusing on the example of subtitling, the paper first shows that the role of subtitlers within the subtitling workflow has been fragmented because of structural changes in the industry, such as outsourcing and the use of template files. The issue of translation quality is key in this context. An analysis of the French and Greek subtitles of an episode of the The Sopranos, which were based on a tem
