To provide an answer, I use Austin’s speech act theory to investigate how confessions work within the context of Swedish law. Stuttering is a fluency disorder characterized by core deficits in speech motor planning. In this project we examine mechanisms of linguistic and non-linguistic control in bilingual patients with aphasia for evidence of domain general cognitive control or domain specific cognitive control on tasks of low complexity and high complexity.
